Got 2 small chips today. Disgusting 😝 chips were lying cooked & reheated, hard & tasteless. People pay for fresh fried chips, not reheated chips that have been cooked & lying about.i would post a photo up but can't

Very nice chip shop, quick service and cooked fresh

I ordered a salt and chilli chicken fillet burger. I wasn't able to eat it and had to take it back. It was nothing like the picture on the counter it was very well done (burnt in my opinion) but the staff got me sorted out. The rest of the order was great chips, goujons, battered sausage, onion rings and nuggets were all perfect.

Fish coupons hit and miss sometimes chips with them sometimes they have fish

On a big order they can never get it right they must owe me £30 for food shortage. & WHEN YOU MENTION IT TO THEM ALL THEY SAY O SORRY 😞 . PLUS ONE OFF THE MOST EXPENSIVE CIPPYS IN THE TOWN.

Bought a chicken Goujons meal for that was 1 overpriced (£9.95) and for 2 one of the Goujons was fish which was unacceptable as my child is highly allergic this was not the first time this has happened from this restaurant

Ordered cod supper and single cod. For £18.90 has to be the worst fish and chips i've ever had both in size of fish and value for money. Will not be back.

Food is great as always their but staff can be rude. No smile, hello, thanks or good bye. Least the food is always good.

The staff was okey, but the products were...well, let's say underwhelming. I have to give them that the portions for the fish and chips were generous, but the chips were all moshy, with too much oil. The rest of the menu was just really bad, both in terms of size and flavor.

Simply a good fish and chip shop. They do what they do really well.

Best fish around. Clean and very reasonable prices.

Poor hygiene practice, equally poor customer service made this a poor visit. Not likely to return or recommend

Definitely not the best chippy I have been to .Chicken burger was nothing to shout about and chips where in a bag which made them quite soggy .Don't know if a 3 star is being generous .

Fish goujons overcooked. Batter rock hard. Fish had no taste. Chips were miserable.

Tasty food cooked in clean environment by friendly staff. Efficient service. Order...pay...your given a pager which bleeps when order is ready. No queuing.

Absolutely the worst fish and chips I have ever had The fish was just a big lump of batter and it was like a brick The fish content was so small it was unbelievable.

Food was awful, chips were stale, you could even tell by the colour never mind the horrible taste and texture. These were obviously blanched and left sitting far too long before final frying. Would not recommend at all, last visit I reckon...

Went in tonight (Sunday night) just before 8.30pm. It was empty. Ordered 3 bags of chips. Quite expensive and took 10 mins to make. You'd have thought it would be good? Right? The chips are hard, over cooked and stale. Would be going back! Not impressed at all 👎👎👎👎

My chips were soggy and my battered sausages were burnt at the ends. Very disappointed.

Terrible food very bland cod ordered this evening all it was good for was throwing out as totally inedible as well as the chips they were reheated they were thrown away too

Very good quality. All I've had from it has been top notch, it can be a bit expensive for a chippy but I would still say the value is there.

Was ok, expected better due to it being expensive. Be aware also that the site has a 30 minute parking limit, a PCN fine will be issued if you over stay.

Chips were over cooked not nice at all!! Batter on the fish was very hard! Kids burger meal had hair in the chips! And gravy chip was under cooked! Not nice £22 wasted! Wudnt advice it!

Just had the worst piece of fish ever. Totally over cooked with so much batter. Last week the fish was also not so good. Chips could have been better. Normally enjoy. But will now be looking for another chip shop.

Fish and Chips here are excellent.

One of the best chip shops in Coleraine. I always drive past the newer one closer to me to go to this one. Never had an issue with service or food here and its one of two chippys I will eat out of in town.

Freshly cooked chips. Slight crisp on the outside, soft on the inside. Not greasy. Good portions and reasonably priced.

Very slow/ long wait as take phone orders. Think only one in front of u but can sit half HR just for sausage supper??

Served by a little fair haired boy a while ago in this one near tesco. Never before have I been served by someone who smells like weed, is rude, and obviously just wants all the customers out. All the customers at the time were getting the same treatment of this little boy My wife and children ended up very sick after the food this little boy gave us. There goujons were raw and before I noticed the food was eaten. My fish was soggy and practically raw as well. My wife has had to take a week off work and my children have had to take time off school. For what the doctor has told us in food poisoning. I'm am absolutely horrified that chequers allows staff to be under the influence of weed while working and is allowed to serve such dangerous food. I am in the right mind to contact the police about this. I will be letting all my friends and family know about this so they do not risk the same suffering my wife and children have been through for the past while I urge anyone reading this to not eat her, especially if the little fair haired boy is serving, as you will get terrible service as well as terrible food
