The best restaurants in Belfast

An incredible meal! The sea bass especially was exceptional. The vedge was perfectly cooked, the sauce was light and balanced, and the fish was beautiful.

Great restaurant, always busy so make sure to book, staff are funny and friendly and the food is always top quality.

Lovely pizza, quick service - recommend ed

Staff and service are brilliant. I had the Chicken Waffle which was great and my wife had a Squash & Goats Cheese dish which she thoroughly enjoyed. Lovely atmosphere. Would highly recommend. Be warned… it can be busy. Not sure if bookings are allowed.

Awesome place, lovely vibes and food!

We were over at Belfast on holiday and found this restaurant on a web search. We're so glad we found it. It's about 15 outside of the city centre but worth the travel. The food was amazing, and the portion sizes were big. I can eat...but I couldn't eat all of this. Frienldy and helpful staff. Made our last night here a one to remember. Thank you.

Incredible cocktail, main course and dessert! It's full of good flavors, the cooking is perfect, the presentation is excellent and the service is impeccable. No, really it deserves even more than 5 stars. If I come back to Belfast, I will come back!

I have been to the temple a lot since I was younger, the food used to be good consistently. Recently it has unfortunately gone downhill, the most recent time being the worst. The garlic potatoes were hard and the lasagne was luke warm in the centre. My partner got a chicken burger which was burned. My chicken wing starter was great but the lasagne nation let it down. No-one working there seemed to even speak to the customers apart from to take their order (not even one check that things were ok) and we nearly got overcharged for another adult 3 course when leaving. A lot of good competition in the area now and I think temple would need to up their game to keep their customers who have been loyal to them.

Good pizza and reasonable price. We went on a Saturday night without a reservation, they were busy but we still got a table and the service was great.

Have been meaning to come to this place for years but never got round to it. We booked last minute and decided to go for the 2 courses for 19.88 menu. The guy who greeted us at the door was fantastic, lovely. He asked us about water then said our waiter would be along after providing us with menus. I have to say everything about our experience at Shu was so lovely until our waiter for the night began serving us. He wasn’t warm/friendly or attentive at all. We thought maybe we caught him in a bad moment. But I have to say he was nothing but rude and abrupt to us the whole evening. I wondered if we done something wrong. He never asked us if were we ok for drinks or anything once during our meal. When our food arrived, we didn’t have a knife for one of us and we asked nicely could we get one, he didn’t even respond and grabbed a knife from another table without even any apology or response and just sat it in front of us. I just thought his service was honestly terrible. The food was very nice and very quick though. But I honestly this treatment of us made us feel so unwelcome. I would never normally say this unless I felt it was really bad, it really left us feeling quite annoyed when we left. Everyone else who worked there seemed to treat us very well and was lovely though. Nice restaurant but the service really ruined the night for us unfortunately.
