Exciting fusion. Apple with midi ice cream. Eggplant with sesame and honey... Great! Unfortunately, it's a bit loud.

Excellent food and exemplary customer service.

My mother and I dined here last night and had an absolutely outstanding experience. The menu offered a wide variety of dishes, each bursting with flavour and prepared to a high standard. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was exceptional throughout the evening. I would especially like to commend the manager, Vic, for his hospitality and efficiency, he truly went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable visit. Thank you to the entire team for a fantastic evening.

Can't recommend enough, the food is so good. We have ordered the beef cheek on two visits, epic. Also recommend the octopus & chorizo, and patatas bravas.

A brilliant and buzzy Spanish tapas bar..only downside is that a table can only be reserved for 90 minutes which my friend and I felt wasn't quite long enough.

Great spot in the town for tapas. Food and service were fantastic, price on the high side but it is in the city centre and the food quality is top class. Will definitely be back

Such a nice experience, we look forward to having another visit at this restaurant again, nicest sourdough and octopus I ever had , when we wanted to order more than we can manage the waiter cautioned us abaout the size of the meals which was very considered and nice of him because end of the night we were stuffed, I especially recommend passion fruit pistachio tart tastes like out of heaven just for that dessert I can travel to belfast again All staff are very helpful thanks a lot again

Was very excited to finally go to Edo, especially with it being Michelin. Table was wobbly and there was no cutlery on the table on arrival. Paper menu is used as a placemat, which was handy to recheck the menu but not quite what I would have expected for Michelin level. Service was friendly enough, though there was one waiter, who was quite keen to kick us out as soon as our time was up and perhaps could have been a bit more diplomatic about it. The food was fine, I felt whilst the menu was varied, it all felt a bit separated. I didn’t think the flavours and seasoning were that great either (but I say this as someone who has been to another Michelin tapas restaurant in Belfast that was at a much higher level all round). Pistachio, passionfruit, and white chocolate tart was lovely though - white chocolate flavour didn’t come through as strong enough for me. My other diners noted that the toilets (two unisex toilets) were filthy. Overall, I sadly wouldn’t go back or recommend.

Genuinely one of the best places for food in Belfast, and definitely the best place for tapas. I'm in here so much the waiters have started to recognise me lol

Massively overpriced for the food you get. Honestly an absolute fortune by the time you order enough food to fill you up. All small plates, some better than others. Think I could have made some of the dishes I got myself, though the truffle arancini was delicious. Value for money not great in terms of quantity.

This was one of the best meals I have had in a very long time!! I can’t recommend this place enough, if you are looking for a quality dining experience for a beyond reasonable price! The staff were lovely too and the service was really good, if not a bit too efficient. We ordered 7 different dishes between 3 people and all of it came out within only 20 minutes of ordering. I would have preferred for them to be brought out with a bit more time in between dishes, but it doesn’t take away from the overall experience. We had the passionfruit and pistachio tart along with a cheese platter for dessert, and it was incredible! The best brie I’ve had in my life. 10/10

Nice concept, cozy busy and therefore nice atmosphere. Unfortunately the service seems a bit forced and aggressive. No smile or attentive behavior from waiter Jason (Johnny) name not even clear because he talked impressively fast.. :( The dishes are delicious though.

Delicious food served by exceptional waiters. Not expensive in comparison to other places in the centre of Belfast. The braised pig checks were meltingly good, the sardines fresh and zingy. The salads and patatas bravas first rate and very flavoursome. The places gets very busy, so would advise booking. Only complaint was the size of the tables, which were small

Delicious food and excellent cocktails with wonderful service – all at a reasonable price. Will definitely return when I’m next in Belfast. Highly recommend the hangar steak with chimichurri sauce, as well as the patatas bravas, crispy aubergine, and heirloom tomato. Thank you for a fantastic meal!

Can’t say enough about this place. The food was incredible!!!! Best meal we’ve have had in a very long time. Our server Gavin was absolutely incredible, we felt truly special and taken care of. Could not fault the evening.

Quite simply the best tapas I've ever had, and I've been to Seville and Grenada! The combination of flavors in all the dishes I had was revelatory. Bouncing sweet, sour, salty off one another. Service was excellent and price pretty good too. Worth coming to Belfast just for Edo!

Tip.. go for an early time-slot. We had a mid-evening reservation and some dishes had sold out... difficult to substitute these items as my wife is vegetarian. We still enjoyed our meal which was all delicious & tasted authentic. Service is purposefully casual but good nonetheless. Overall a great experience and we'd recommend a visit if you enjoy authentic Spanish food. Disappointed. I love tapas and we were really looking forward to eating here. The dishes were just a lot of overpowering flavours on a plate that didn't compliment eachother. Left feeling hungry and annoyed. The staff were just ok but not great accepting feedback. Wouldnt recommend.

We had one of our best recent dining experiences last night at Edo. The food was stunning, really tasty. Langustine fritters, steak and paella were some of the stand out dishes. The service thoughtout the night was very friendly and engaging , especially Adam. We will definitely be back soon.

Had a delicious meal at Edo in Belfast. This restaurant offers a modern twist on tapas, with small dishes that are often shared. Today I enjoyed the beef cheek, simmered in a tasty gravy – highly recommended! The bruschetta was tasty, although not particularly special. Unfortunately, the tortilla was a bit disappointing due to the salty taste. The dessert, a forest fruit panna cotta, was truly delicious and left you wanting more. All in all a great experience, with very friendly staff and excellent service.

I'm Spanish living in Belfast, but obviously I didn't go looking for food from home, just good food. It is true that they have a certain Spanish inspiration, but little more! We ordered five tapas. The waiter recommended us, but hunger got the better of us. Fried eggplants, good but the truffle aroma non-existent! Fried prawns with tartar, very delicious and well fried without being dry. Goat cheese with beetroot, very pleasant. We didn't like the other two dishes as much, cauliflower with blue cheese and truffle, the sauce was very rich but the cauliflower was too big and was too raw. The leeks with romesco were a little tough and the romesco was very spicy. I understand that they want to give a twist to the original recipe but it is so excessive that it kills any other flavor. We had two house beers, good! Total 66 pounds for the city standard is not expensive.

EDO is one of the greatest examples of fine dining tapas on a budget. The level of skill from the chefs is incredible and it was shown in every dish. The tapas formula was easy to follow especially with a small group. All of us ordered 2-3 dishes per person and shared each single one. This led to us having a really fun dining experience. We shared our opinions on each dish as we ate together while finding room for more plates as they came one after the other. The braised beef cheek was beyond phenomenal as if I was made out of gelatine. It simply disintegrated in my mouth and melted away like meat flavoured butter. Packed full of flavour and textures as the accompanying elements added a level of contrast on the plate. This dish was a showstopper and will live long in my memory. The tenderness was outrageous and it was clear to see that there was nothing but attention to detail throughout the entire cooking process. Every other dish was incredibly fresh, packed flavour punches and felt unique from eachother. I was full by the final dish and that’s exactly what you want from tapas. You want to eat until your heart is content and then rank each dish from best to last with your dining guests. I had langoustine ceviche for the very first time and I think it’s safe to say Edo set the bar with this one. The texture of the raw langoustine caught me off guard as I expected it to be a mushy mess. It was far from that as it had some bite to it and immense flavour that I can’t describe. Delicate yet powerful in its beauty. EDO is an absolute knockout, well deserving of their Michelin Bib. They are doing something incredible in Belfast and it’s no surprise why they’re always fully booked. The value for money is impressive to say the least. You’ll eat like a king and come out feeling like you didn’t break the bank like you would in other substandard restaurants. That is one way to bring your customers back over and over again without fail. Highly recommended.

Great tapas spot! Probably 90% of the menu was available / adaptable to be gluten free and staff were very knowledgeable and attentive to dietary requirements. Food was really tasty and cocktails were fab! Would highly recommend.

Absolutely phenomenal - langostine ceviche, potato and truffle coquettes, whipped goats curd, pil pil spiced prawns - we actually had most of the menu I can’t even list here and it was honestly the best meal I have had in so long, so fun and so delicious. Thank you so much to Niamh and Johnny for their brilliant service and being so aware of allergies - 10/10. Can’t wait to come back

I was disappointed by my recent trip to Edo. I was expecting flavours to rival Yugo, but it just didn’t deliver. We paid £17 for steak which didn’t appear to have been seasoned and the chimichurri didn’t have any vinegar. These seem like pretty basic mistakes. The other dishes were just fine.

Think this might be my 3rd or 4th visit. Need I say more?! Superb food, lovely selection of wines and great service. What can I say I'm easily pleased! Those pommes neufs are heaven.

I have dined here many times and it never disappoints. The food is always top tier (beef cheek, ceviche, tortilla are a must!). Don't sleep on the fab cocktails either. Alex is a total joy, always happy to see her on when we visit. Previous trip we had Jonny serving us and he was fabulous too. Look forward to coming back many more times. Thanks Team EDŌ!

Amazing place, fantastic atmosphere, attentive but not overbearing staff. Knowledgable of the menu. We had 8 plates between 3 of us plus a cheeky extra one because it was so good! All cooked to perfection, beautifully presented and most importantly tasted incredible.

Dinner at EDO was amazing and it’s a restaurant I’ll definitely go there whenever I’m back in Belfast. I’d also recommend it to anyone visiting the city. The service is really fantastic and the food is delicious. The ambience is a bit loud, but that’s just a small detail in comparison to all the rest. My highlights were the ham croquettes and the langoustine fritters. The croquettes were so good that I ordered them twice.

The waiters were extremely rude, the atmosphere was awful (quite like six by nico with the added joy of techno music pumping in the background), and the food just wasn’t good. Another overrated, overpriced Belfast restaurant with obnoxious staff to boot.

We visited Edo on a busy Saturday evening to celebrate a friend’s birthday, and the experience was fantastic from start to finish. Despite the lively crowd, the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. A thoughtful touch was the complimentary glass of prosecco they gave my friend upon arrival to celebrate her birthday, which made the night extra special. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. As for the food, we ordered a variety of dishes including the vegetable platter, seasonal artichoke, calamari, and the highlight of the evening – the pork belly. The pork belly was simply amazing, definitely the best dish of the night. Each plate was beautifully prepared and bursting with flavor. To top it all off, we ordered churros for dessert, and the staff surprised us by adding a birthday candle to them, making the celebration even more memorable. Little details like that really made our night feel special. Overall, Edo offers a delightful dining experience with excellent food, great service, and a warm, inviting atmosphere. Perfect for any occasion – we'll definitely be back!

Great restaurant for there tapas, and the wine is good. If first time here the menu can look confusing if you haven't tried tapas, but the staff will help you who are very friendly and helpful.

Everything was sensational. Anyone who says less is but a fool, or just miserable. Been here a few times and I’ll be back many many times.

Today I had lunch in this bar and I have to say that the staff were very friendly and helpful. However, when the food arrived I was greatly disappointed. The croquettes were decent, but the potato omelet didn't taste like a Spanish omelette at all. It had a very strange color, super dark, something that is not seen in Spain. Also, they had put a green sauce on it that I don't even know what it was. I am from Spain and I do not take it as an insult since I understand that they have done what they could. But come on, to serve something like this it's better not to serve anything. And on top of that, when I asked if there were any Spaniards, they told me no. But let's see, how are you going to serve Spanish food without a single Spaniard in the entire restaurant? I wanted to eat Spanish food because I'm studying abroad, and the truth is that I will never try Spanish food outside my country again. Anyway, I wouldn't go back, but the place was nice.

Beautiful restaurant. Staff all friendly, down to earth and tentative! The woman who was serving us was amazing - explained everything so well and noticed all the little things (my napkin fell and before I even picked it up she had already appeared with a new one)’ There is food for everyone with their wide range of dishes to suit all. The flavours and unbelievable. Tapas which means you can try more! And the portions are big, I’m always so full after! I recommend the beef cheek and the octopus!

Fabulous food. Genuinely best I've tasted in Belfast. Service was poor with one Waiter quite unpleasant seeming disinterested in enhancing our experience. Took a last drink order at 8.45 then came back and said we wouldn't have time to drink so he didn't bother! We were evicted at 8.45 from a 7pm booking. Surely 2 hours is standard? Spent 70 per head too :(

Incredible food, really friendly servers, also very enjoyable to sit on the kitchen counter. All the food was seasoned very well and every single dish was amazing.

Enjoyed such lovely food tonight at Edo. Clever concept, you order a few dishes and sharing plates are brought to the table when they are ready. This keeps the experience interesting as you are always faced with a new (and delicious!) taste. Cocktails were gorgeous too. A special thank you to our server Gavin S. He was friendly, attentive without being intrusive, enthusiastic about making recommendations, and when I explained we were there for my husband's birthday, he organised for a candle to be added to my husband's dessert which was such a nice touch and so very much appreciated. Thank you Gavin - you made a lovely night extra special.

Incredible dining experience. From the first moment we were greeted by Johny to him giving us some cool spots for drinks for after the dinner it was impeccable. Having lived in Spain, the tapas are of exceptional quality. Everything was smoothand hence a big recommend!
