A bit overrated, for tourists....

Lovely place to spend an afternoon browsing and grazing!!!

Must visit in Belfast. The market is filled with various stores ranging from food, artisan soap to arts. Perfect for a weekend morning

Similar to an American flea market, but with a lot of good food and fresh fish.

Really nice place, good food and beautiful but the food/burned fat is a bit overwhelming and will stay in your clothes. Otherwise a nice place to visit!

Always a great place to find a unique gift or fresh produce. A lovely atmosphere. I love bringing visitors to Belfast here. The best spot for a weekend breakfast with a fresh coffee.

My favourite market in Belfast. Class! Wonderful food vendors with a big variety of choices to please everyone and the craft and clothing vendors are high quality. Throw in a live band and you're in for a great time!

Weekend market with a huge selection of regional products and stalls.

We had a vegetarian Belfast bap with soda bread at the sizzle and roll (if I remember correctly) and it was GREAT. It was the “meat free” one. No fuss, great food and fast service. Highly recommend.

We had the best time! Everyone so friendly! We left with several treasures including a pink and white stripped paper bag full of the most delicious fudge. - thank you for a lovely afternoon!

Live music, great art, and jewelry booths. The food booths were also fantastic, we enjoyed our visit.

Great atmosphere, wonderful stalls, terrific food, and amazing music. Last Sunday the group playing was called Midnight Moon and they were excellent.

Superb 18th century covered market. you can find something to eat there but also quite a few small artisan or souvenir stands. If you come for breakfast, avoid coming before 10 a.m. because many stands are not ready before 9:30 a.m./10 a.m.

Cute place to spend a couple of hours during the weekend. It is open from Friday to Sunday and has many vintage, jewelry, grocery, arts shops. You can also grab food and eat there with cool live music playing. Prices are okay for Belfast, you may need cash to pay in some of the stands.

Great place, lots of blenders, good prices

A really lovely place with great food stalls, fresh produce and an eclectic range of stalls selling new and antique products, hand made art and artefacts, clothing with several cafés and some lively live music. Well worth a visit!

Really enjoyed my visit to St George’s Market. There’s a great mix of food stalls, local crafts, and live music which creates a nice atmosphere. It can get quite busy, especially on weekends, so it’s a bit hard to move around at times — but overall a lovely experience and worth checking out.

Lots of yummy looking food choices. Enjoyed browsing through the different choice of stalls and chatting with the owners while purchasing a few bits. A nice way to spend a Sunday morning.

Some really good food, natural skin products and art here. But had a half hour wait for dirty fries at Mexican stall and they were salty and greasy. Everyone else I was with made good food choices, think I was unlucky as it was about 1pm

Excellent place to spend Sunday morning. Shops and antiques. Live music. The Befast Bap with Soda Bread for breakfast or brunch is a must do! 100% recommended

Such a lovely market, lots of local crafts people, fish mongers and food. Its the only market of its scale left really in Northern Ireland so I'd definitely recommend checking it out!

***** Here’s What You Need to Know ***** Don’t wait until 2:00 to show up like we did. Half the stalls were shuttered up and the rest were closing down. Still, my wife scored a sterling silver ring that she was very pleased with. The #paella stand was still open, and I wish I would have gotten some for takeaway. And had gotten there earlier for the #oysters!

Wonderful place, so much history and many amazing and award winning stalls. I have bought countless pieces of artwork for my home and can never resist a coffee or breakfast bap.

Absolutely must go in Belfast.The place is bustling with all sorts of local vendors from food , antiques to souvenirs. The oyester is a must try here and also fishes are sold here. It has facilities to sit and dine and also has toilets.

There are a lot of delicious products here, all freshly prepared. Great market, always busy.

A brilliant way to spend a Sunday AM as the city slowly wakes itself up for a 1pm start! Get yourself filled up with a Belfast Soda Bread or Bap (which our trip was primarily for) and get all the gifts for the family back home from a myriad local sellers / producers.

Cheap Belfast City Market There are quite a few traders who offer products from various countries with tastings which makes the visit more pleasant.

Better than the majority of markets.

Market in the heart of Belfast, it is open every day, I visited it on Sunday and they closed at two. Ask to enjoy the variety of typical food stalls in the area.

Lovely Sunday morning out! The live music on offer was brilliant so we enjoyed our refreshments while soaking up the atmosphere. A wide range of vendors with everything imaginable for sale! I enjoyed watching a local artist paint away in the midst of the hussle & bussle! Some display of talent throughout & food to suit all.

Amazing variety of sounds, sights and tastes! Very busy on a Sunday at lunchtime. Fishmonger was a fun surprise for this Yank! Fresh oysters on the half shell. If you have little ones plan your parking around naptimes, it can be a long walk to the car park.

There are all kinds of junk and the prices are generally cheaper. It's not only open every day, it's recommended to go on the weekend.

There's a nice ambience on a Sunday afternoon, whereas in my experience, the market is a lot quieter in every respect on a Friday lunchtime. There is quite a wide range of stalls ranging from fesh cooked food, fresh fish, greengrocers, clothing, gifts to arts and crafts. The food prices seemed on the high side to me but I guess that is the norm for a tourist attraction. There's quite limited seating too in my opinion. Overall I think it is a nice place to visit for a while if visiting Belfast on a Sunday afternoon.

Short walk from my hotel, saw the sights, and found the Rory Gallagher statue on my way back!

Overpriced, £3.50 for a postcard !got the same postcard at belfast castle for 50p!seafood chowder £8.50!filled bap £9.00,can get a free range chicken for £7.00 in lidl that will do 5 meals!very unhealthy food,pastries, buns etc,home bargains abbeycentre does a pot of tea for £1.00,now that is decent,and not a rip off,will not be back near St George's,had to have a shower to wash off the stench of greed when I got home

Amazing atmosphere, huge choice of food, lovely stalls. I had a phenomenal Mac and cheese made in a parmesan wheel with truffle oil and then a freshly made crepe 🤤 Bought myself a couple of Belfast souvenirs too. Really worth a visit and a wander
