Walked in as part of a small wedding party for pre-dinner drinks, staff put some tables together for us and were very attentive. They gave us some snack platters too! A really nice atmosphere and overall a great experience!

No.1 Belfast is a great little restaurant in the heart of Stranmillis. Our family each had the "3 Taco" offer and the food was superb! Great flavours with all of the fillings and complimented by the seasoned fries. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Best chippy in Belfast for food and price. Always a queue so be prepared to wait or phone in advance. I just ordered a fish which is normally only £4.00 which may have been cod. Anyway they only had haddock. After a long wait it appeared with a free scoop of chips. And only charged four, was amazing as others are charging seven or eight pounds. Very enjoyable hidden gem. Only known to locals. Best chippy for food and price in Northern Ireland for sure.

¡Debo decir que no me impresionó en absoluto! ¡Mi madre consiguió el pastel de carne picada y las patatas fritas y sabía divertido y completamente seco! Ella ha estado enferma todo el día. ¡Mis salchichas sabían baratas y realmente procesadas! ! ¡Mi campeón había grandes trozos de cebolleta cruda y la salsa sabía a agua! Pedí unas cebollas salteadas para mi salchicha y puré y me trajeron una cucharada de cebolla cruda en una olla de mayonesa. ¿Mi hija consiguió la cena de rosbif con pudín de Yorkshire pero sin Yorkshire? Tuvimos que pedirlo, y nos salió rubio y no muy bien cocinado. Y sus papas asadas estaban duras. . . . . Y para colmo, mi madre dio 40 para pagar y llegó a 28 y el tipo solo le dio el cambio de 30. Así que cuando pasó junto a nosotros estábamos a punto de quedarnos con él y se dio la vuelta y dijo: "oh, me diste 40, ¿verdad?", Fue y agarró una moneda que ni siquiera había puesto hasta que estaba sentada al lado solo como si supiera exactamente lo que estaba haciendo. ¡Era demasiado obvio! Destripado desperdiciamos 30 en este lugar y la comida era terrible. Y el personal aún peor. ¡Nunca más!

Looked good from the outside but a little grubby inside. They maybe need to freshen it up a little. We had a cheese sandwich and sausage roll and a couple of tray bakes. The sandwich was pretty poor but the rest was nice enough. Average prices. Waiting staff very pleasant and helpful as seems to be the case in Belfast overall.

Went today to collect some sausage rolls and breakfast baguettes and OMG. Not only did they taste fantastic, but the staff were very friendly. Definately going back for more

Tuvimos una comida familiar en Shimla esta noche. Hemos probado la comida para llevar antes que siempre es de gran calidad, decidimos esta noche cenar y no decepcionó. La comida era deliciosa y carne de buena calidad. Excelentes tamaños de porción por el precio y buena relación calidad-precio. El servicio fue brillante y el camarero estuvo atento Sin duda volveremos

Last night was our third visit to Jumon and I’m updating my previous 5-star review to reflect our most recent experience. We used to adore going out to one of Belfast’s most authentic and creative plant based restaurants with its clever use of flavour and Asian inspired curry / ramens. On this occasion however, we were left feeling a little disappointed by the westernisation / popularised food. the menu does that thing where it lists the ingredients, no description, so you aren’t sure how much of what you are getting is going to be deep fried. In our case, nearly everything was. Across the 5 dishes we ordered we had deep fried tofu x 3 times, deep fried sweet potato, and deep fried (I think) baby potatoes and deep fried brocolli. The flavours weren’t as authentic, and the meal itself didn’t feel as fresh as we remembered from before. We were also seated pretty close to the table next to us, something that makes date night feel a little less personal. Don’t get me wrong, it wasn’t a bad meal, we enjoyed it, but when you have had such a brilliant first album, sometimes the difficult second album is full of tunes you just don’t love in the same way. On the plus side - the staff are brilliant and the portion sizes have gotten bigger - especially on the small plates.
