No.1 Belfast is a great little restaurant in the heart of Stranmillis. Our family each had the "3 Taco" offer and the food was superb! Great flavours with all of the fillings and complimented by the seasoned fries. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

A friend recommended this restaurant do we went for lunch. Its small and quirky and very busy . The waiter was friendly znd helped us with our choices . Food was excellent everything was a taste sensation. Definitely recommended

Whoever rated this place as average needs their head felt, absolutely excellent, so tasty and fresh. Great staff and its size helps rather than hinders it. Had the loaded fries with shrimp and chorizo. Wonderful flavours and very generous portion. Wife had the beef brisket burrito and equally impressed. Don't frequent this place often enough.

Loved it. Aside from the no toilets thing and ignoring that, it’s fab! Quirky, delicious and affordable! Found the staff great and willing to offer options and help with picking portion size etc. we had the chicken, halomi and shrimp tacos. The beef loaded fries and the shredded chicken salad. Oh and the jalapeño poppers £37 with two drinks. We couldn’t complain! Delicious flavours and enjoyed the relaxed setting. There’s toilets in centra across the street too. Would recommend here and will absolutely return

Excellent service, delicious food with absolutely everything made from scratch! Delighted I accidentally found this place, would definitely be a regular if I lived in Belfast! Well done!

Gorgeous!!! Food was unreal, I sat outside with my friend and we had the loveliest most memorable lunch. The waiter was a lovely fella too. I plan on returning ASAP, and I’ve been recommending it to everyone.

From the moment we entered to the moment we left this place was amazing. The staff so friendly and more. The food was amazing. The portions was more than enough for a meal for one. This is a real hidden gem. Definitely will be back and recommend to all my friends. The price was cheap very cheap for the quality. People don't hang about its no booking we waited no more than 5 minutes. Bring your own. I had some wine couldn't finish as I was so stuffed. Even got a doggy bag to take home.

We have just polished off two portions of loaded fries, one beef the other pork, both equally delicious. Looking forward to trying the rest of the menu in the near future.

I was dazzled by the lovely frontage complete with stripy canopy and cool neon sign. I had seen their Instagram page and the food looked amazing in all their photos, so I decided to go there for a laid-back meal. The interior wasn't as well thought out but it was ok. The food was quite nice, tacos had good flavours and the chips were crispy, but a singular plate of 3 tacos took forever to arrive (tacos are supposed to be quick - they're street food). The food was visually exciting with loads of bright colours. Staff were generally helpful and accommodating until around 8:40pm, after the dinner rush had ended. After we'd finished eating a staff member came over to box up our leftovers. We ordered 2 cups of coffee and were asked rather pointedly if we wanted them to take away, which we did not. We had been there for about 1½ hours. If the place had a time limit on tables due to Covid, it wasn't communicated. All in all, I see what they're trying to do, and the frontage is lovely, kind of London, kind of Barcelona, very trendy. But the standard - as with so many places in good old Belfast - was inconsistent. A fellow diner suggested trying 'Taquitos' instead - the food van near the big fish and a restaurant newly opened in Andersontown. 🍹🌮

Amazing authentic Mexican cuisine. The food is fresh and simply delicious. We only discovered No1 about a month ago and have gone back on a few occasions since. The staff are very friendly and informative.

What a belter of a find. Exuberant, exhilarating Mexican food packed with fresh, fun, fantastic fillings. So much love and thought into the menu. Really friendly staff, so reasonably priced. BYO. Great tunes. Couldn't recommend it highly enough.

Where to start? This place is great! Got a salad bowl with beef and my husband got a rice bowl with beef. Would always love rice/chips more than salad but it was so fresh and tasty I didn’t even feel like I was missing out. There were also some kind of homemade spicy nachos with it which were delicious. And the “come back sauce” will definitely have me coming back for more! Husband loved his rice bowl too! Great portion size, great service and hardly anytime to wait before our order was ready. Will definitely be back and recommending to others!
