Stax Café in Belfast

Absolutely shocking experience walked into the cafe and was given a menu I asked if I could sit down and was told yes. Then the girl took my order. Walked away. Returned about 1 min later and told me that sit in was closed and that I wasn’t going to be served after her taking my order. She told me I could sit outside, in the wind and cold. The Google closing time is 15.00 I was in the premises 14.15 Shocking disgraceful ignorant and no better way to throw someone out of your CAFE, turning away money!!! Then crying poverty when your closed down wondering why you’ve no business

I stumbled on this place walking along the road so glad I did lovely food and lovely staff was very busy and had to wait for my food but was worth the wait also got a free coffee for my wait

A little gem on the Cliftonville Road. Great food, great service, and lovely staff. Lady made a mistake with my order and gave me the coffee free to compensate. Definitely be back.

Call in most days for take out, lovely staff & grub

Class food, fresh tasty. Lots of healthy options, excellent vegetarian options without flavour compromise. Fabulous bread options. Great value.

The coffee is beautiful and the sandwiches are fresh and tasty. Try the carmel squares - there are none better .

Called for quick cup of coffee. Never been before. The lady serving was very polite, friendly and efficient. The coffee was great. I'll certainly be back .

I think now with lots of people working from home, some are now turning to the local cafes for their lunch fix instead of the old traditional city centre hunting ground. The food here is lovey, priced accordingly and the staff are pleasant to deal with. Keep it up!

Unreal food, toasted wraps amazing

Terrible experience. Was with my partner and two young children. No toilets. No common decency. No card machine. Bad attitude from workers when I raised my concerns. Avoid if you like manners or modern facilities
