Absolutely amazing place. Food was fantastic and the service was top class. The prawns were exceptional! Such lovely staff and the live music was unreal!!!!! Most certainly worth a visit. Loved everything about this place

Fabulous start to finish. A well balanced choice of dishes and drinks on the menu. The food tasted fantastic, the service was spot on, the atmosphere was just right and it was excellent value for money. If we were staying longer we would be dining again, but as it is this will have to wait for our next trip back. Thank you for a great evening!

Came in for dinner on a Wednesday night. Bit of an odd mix of food on the menu but seems to have something for everyone. I had the Thai red seafood curry and my partner a lentil dahl. Service was great and quick. I can't understand why the place was so quiet!

We booked a weekend break in Belfast and after some google searching, decided to book an evening meal at the Teal Monkey Restaurant which was only a 10 minute walk from the Hotel. The menu was very wide ranging from pork, steak, seafood and tacos so something for everyone. We had the sweet chillie chicken starter, grilled pork chops and tacos which were excellent. Top marks for service. All the waiting staff were warm, welcoming and very friendly. Could not fault a thing. Would fully recommend. Well done!!

Food here was delicious. We came for the set menu Sunday roast and at 2 courses for £20 this was the best value and tasting roast we’ve had in Belfast and we’ve had more than a few! Highly recommend a visit.

We went twice in two days for breakfast. On the Saturday it was quiet and the service was good. I had Eggs Benedict and my partner had an omelette. Both were very good. On the Sunday it was busier and the music was louder. There was one waitress who was very friendly and was working extremely hard, however she had a lot of tables to cover so the service was slow. There was an item on the menu that they couldn't do, however the chef did not tell the waitress this until 10 minutes after the order went in. I had the avocado on toast with poached eggs and my partner had smoked salmon and scrambled egg on toast. Again both were very good. Would definitely recommend!!

We ate here for breakfast. Good portions, looked great on the plate and tasted beautiful. Very well priced- you’d struggle to find similar quality in Belfast for the same price. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend

Thankyou to your fabulous staff. Had bottomless brunch on Sat 7th before we headed to 30+ disco at Limelight. Teal monkey was buzzing wen we arrived @ 2oclk. The place was packed , but that did not stop the fabulous attention from staff 👏👏. The best service we have had in a long time, food was amazing & flavoursome, drinks were flowing at a great speed. Will defo be back, best bottomless brunch we had in belfast. Price did not effect the quality r quantity. Give it a try.

Been here 3 times now for bottomless brunch and can't fault it. Really good value. Menu has been the same but I've had something different each time. Had Hake on Friday and it was delicious. Victoria our waitress was lovely and our wine was topped up when asked. I've recommended to so many people and will definitely be back.

Went for brunch before a friend's hen party. Two course's and unlimited wine, beer or prosecco for two hours for £30 or for an additional £10 you could upgrade to cocktail's, which of course I did. The staff were running a bit behind when we arrived so we had to wait for our table however, the staff made up for it by being very friendly and attentive and never letting our glasses empty. The time we missed was added on at the end. The food was very tasty with large portions and the only fault I had was that the music was far too loud. We couldn't hear each other talk and despite asking for it to be turned down several times it kept being turned back up again. I will do definitely try the place again though.

Enjoyed the Teal Monkey as a great venue for a 21st birthday party- very welcoming and great decor (minus one flickery lightbulb). Definitely would be back!! 💙🐒

Sat in Friday evening for a meal, so disappointed in the meal, just wasn't up to standard for example cream brulee wasn't cooked properly, should have had a hard crust but it was soggy, I could go on but I will generalise, I won't be back

We had a fantastic time at The Teal Monkey on Saturday past. The cocktails and food are both phenomenal. Two of us got mains and one of us got 2 starters that were to come out as a main. When the waitress realised the starters came out without the mains, she offered complimentary drinks which we were really appreciative of - service was great and staff were very friendly. Guy singing was great too, thanks guys we will be back :)

Good restaurant made a good date :) recommend steamed mussels, the Thai soup inside of it was nice and fresh. The spring roll is also good. All the portions are great.

Fantastic day here yesterday for the bottomless brunch, the decor is quirky, gorgeous, food was superb, staff very friendly and attentive especially Caoimhe she was great such a lovely girl. Anthony the bar manager also very nice his French Martinis are 5 star. Will be back. X

What a gem to find! We came for dinner on a Friday night, and was so good that we returned Sunday evening. Really unique interior, friendly staff, and amazing food!

Some of the staff should be sacked. Literally one of the worst meals/staff experience I have ever had. The bottomless drinks take 40 minutes to come and every time you order another the staff argue with you. One staff member in particular a young woman with jet black hair in a pony tail physically argued with our party numerous times and was heard making rude remarks about our table while at the pass. Not worth the money, the food and staff are absolutely shocking do not go.

Paid £40 for bottomless brunch. Service was awful apart from the blonde waitress who actually tried. Brown haired pony tail waitress was very rude to our friend unnecessarily for asking for a drink during bottomless brunch. We all lost count of how many times we asked for a drink and it never arrived, and got told we couldn’t pre order despite the drinks taking ages to come. My friend ordered soup which resembled chicken in milk. Focaccia bread was sourdough. Seabass meal came without half the meal, and no substitutes offered. Don’t go if you are expecting a good time

Fantastic experience start to finish. I saw the teal monkeys bottomless brunch on tiktok and just had to try it. We arrived and were sat up stairs. I would note that the stairs are quite steep. We were seated in the corner booth which was amazing as it provided enough privacy from the rest of the dinners. Food was impeccable. We started with the salt and chilli chicken. The flavours where amazing. My only disappointment with this course was it did come out luke warm, and I do struggle with colder dishes, so I had to eat this one extreme fast but taste could not be faulted. We moved onto mains and each member of the group got something different. We had the burger, which was beautiful. The steak sandwich, which comes medium, was seasoned to perfection and the seabass. I would say the seabass was an extremely small portion with no side, but again flavour was impeccable. Cocktails were all made to order, which is fantastic for a bottomless brunch. And a great selection was provided. Staff where great, nothing was too much trouble and they were attentive. I was worried with how busy it was that it would be impossible to get a drink. This was not the case. The shining star however was Caomihe. She is definitely a credit to the restaurant. She has such a friendly bubbly approach and made the experience even more top notch. Overall, fantastic experience for fantastic value. I have recommended to others already and I will be back.

Disappointing Cocktail Experience, We recently visited this restaurant and had a mixed experience. The food was satisfactory, though a bit carb-heavy and lacking in meat. However, the cocktail service left much to be desired. We ordered two cocktails priced at £10.50 each. My partner's arrived much smaller (the Teal Monkey) than expected, while mine, a Long Island, was larger. Oddly, neither had a straw, which led to me accidentally spilling my drink all over the table and floor before I could even taste it. The waitress promptly cleaned up and offered a replacement, which I accepted. My partner ordered the same to make up for my clumsiness. The replacement cocktails arrived, this time with a straw in mine. However, when the bill came, we were charged for all four cocktails (£42), even though I didn't get to enjoy the first one. We paid without noticing the extra charge. I believe the waitress should have informed us that the replacement would be charged for, especially since the spill was partly due to the lack of a straw. It seems unfair to pay for a drink I couldn't enjoy due to the restaurant's presentation. The inconsistency in the cocktails' presentation and size was also disappointing. While accidents happen, I feel the restaurant could have handled this better by either offering the replacement on the house or communicating the extra charge upfront. The food was adequate, but the cocktail experience left a sour taste. More attention to detail and better customer service would have greatly improved our visit. I emailed looking for a refund on cocktail but no response so far. Was noisy with kids running around screaning also which was off putting.

Wonderful restaurant. The atmosphere was very cool. The food was delicious. The Buffalo cauliflower and pork belly as appetizers were grand. We had the steak and seabass for our main course, tender and wonderful flavor. The salted carmel brownie for dessert was a sweet way to end our meals. Nicola's service was helpful and attentive.

This place was so very nice, 2 floors and an outdoor space. There was a really good live musician when I came. I sat on the second floor and the decorations were so fun. The service was impeccable, very attentive folks. The chicken wings were REALLY Delicious. The passion fruit martini also great, I love that they put the prosecco on the side for that. The main chicken dish was well made, but a little drier than I hoped. There was a fried Mac and cheese fritter that came with it, that was delicious. The dessert was okay, not great, but not bad.

We had been given a voucher to spend here and this restuarant prepares lovely food, (albeit some of the dishes are on the pricey side especially if side items are not included in the price) However we had the Sunday roast which was very nice..... until I asked for some mustard! Nothing wrong until I checked the bill to see that £1.50 had been added for what was a small thimblefull of mustard. I mean.. really guys.. I know you gave to make ends meet but I'd regard mustard in the same way as salt, pepper, vinegar and sauce! You might argue your point about paying for what you get, but set that against losing a repeat customer which is what has happened here. So enjoy yourself at the Teal Monkey.... just don't ask for mustard!!!

We arrived at 4.30pm for our family Sunday dinner. For the first time booked table through First table. Had soup and chicken wings for starter which were just ok. Waited around 30 min between empty plates were lifted and main arrived. Ordered beef Sunday roast , chilli chicken and I got myself beef burger with crispy pork belly. And omg when my burger arrived pork belly looked absolutely disgusting (I have picture attached) ate half of burger and pointed it to waiter/barmen who I think helped with table services as 2 waiters were completely lost and there was no organisation in table service what so ever. Never heard anything back from chef as why he would serve burger like this. Anyways we ordered desserts and again waited about 30 min for plates to be lifted and deserts to come. Barmen offered drink on house for waiting so long that was nice of him. Inside of restaurant is absolutely lovely but food and waiting staff has to be sorted

Lovely food and service. It's a very nicely decorated space. The management need to change their payment system so the staff can receive tips via credit/debit card. We went to a nearby ATM to get cash for the tip. But I imagine others would just not leave one as they had no cash on them

Fantastic experience. Steaks very good quality and cooked to perfection. Kids also ate free which was a wonderful surprise. Staff helpful and friendly, will definitely be back.

Went there while visiting family in Belfast for Christmas and what a lovely place it is to go for a cracking meal, food was 5 star and the staff were so friendly and couldn't do enough for us, even did the baby a free little bowl of dinner for us, definitely will be going again on our next visit to see our son 👍

A hidden, small gem of a place in south central Belfast. The interior is designed to be warm and inviting, whether you eat upstairs or on the main floor. The staff are friendly, professional and attentive. My whiskey sour was among the best I’ve ever had. My dinner of butternut and sage risotto with Tuscan fries was excellent, both in terms of taste and proportions. Definitely a must visit if you’re looking for an excellent dinner while in Belfast!

Booking of 2, on a Wednesday night. I understand that not many people eat out during the weeknights , however me and my friend were disappointed with this place. After seeing great reviews on tiktok we were super excited to try it out. We both got salt and chilli chicken as a main. It costed £16, not including side and this price was really quite outrageous for what we got. 7 pieces of mini crispy fried chicken strip things, on a piece of flatbread. The only sauce was a mayo with what I presume was some paprika flavouring in it to make the sauce orange. Taste wise, the chicken dish just wasn’t hitting the spot, and the food didn’t come out that piping hot freshness that we all like when we treat ourselves to a meal. It really should have been fresh because there was only a few other people in the restaurant. My side was sweet potato fries and although I was given a generous enough portion some of the chips were quite hard :/. Our waitress was a lovely girl, could not fault her whatsoever. Just a mediocre meal and disappointing experience to sum it up !

The Teal Monkey was recommended to us by the taxi driver who picked us up from the airport. We are so glad he did. Fabulous little place, friendly with a chilled out vibe and fantastic food. The short rib mac and cheese was delicious.

Really good night. Walking in the place looked really well. When seated we where served by to very professional women. Food was exceptional. Creme brulee could of had a bit more filling but that's me just be greedy lol. But everything tasted unreal. The prices where very reasonable. Will definitely be back

We came to this amazing restaurant for my daughters 30th birthday. 11 adults and 1 child. What an experience food and drink amazing, staff were outstanding nothing was too much trouble. They went above and beyond to make sure our night was so special a big thank you to Nicola and all her team. They were so professional we will definitely come here again. Also had the added bonus of live music, If you want a five star experience just visit teal monkey.

What can I say? Thank you the teal monkey for the most spectacular birthday meal. From the vibes, the menu, the live singer, the staff & cocktails it was perfect from start to finish. The staff were happy, attentive & kept checking we were ok… asked us if the singers speaker was too loud as we was sat next to it (we loved it but thought it was great they asked). Paid special attention to our 3 year old who can get bored easily 😂 the staff actually popped out & came back with a magazine for her?! Where do you get service like that?? Came here as a group of 10 for the first time today - food was amazing everyone of us loved it and the bramble was one of the nicest I have had. Atmosphere- relaxed, ambient, pleasant background music, very clean and decor to high standard. We had as starter - sour dough bread with bone marrow butter. Mains - chicken supreme with side of truffle & parmesan fries, Slow cooked short rib with Mac & cheese Would we return - absolutely we have already booked for next month 💕

Crispy duck salad and scallops for starters and mains of duck with gnocchi and salt and chilli chicken were all delicious. wine menu very reasonably priced. Good service and excellent value.
