The best restaurants in England

Lovely lunch of gluten free toasties today. Came with salad, coleslaw and crisps. Dogs welcome. Knocked one star off as we wanted a gluten free cake but they were next to gluten containing cakes with no covers on to prevent contamination. They were in a separate area for cakes for those with dietary needs but I couldn't see that the utensils used for gluten free weren't also used for the other cakes in that section, some of which did contain gluten.

Had Sunday dinner (carvery) was absolutely beautiful, really enjoyed it.

Not enough staff waited an hour to be asked if we wanted a desert by which time there wasn't enough time.

Nice local cafe. I enjoy their bubble special and coffee. Nice friendly team

Lovely location for a coffee & cake. Friendly staff, beautiful views over open countryside, very relaxing. Was quite busy on a Tuesday lunchtime, so clearly popular!

Wedding we attended was amazing. Whole day came together to make unforgettable memories. Staff know exactly how to host and look after everyone. Food is excellent from breakfast to wedding meal.

Oh gosh I soooo recommend this cafe. Service was quick and lovely. And as the food - all home made on the premises. We only had bacon sandwiches and coffee, both of which were perfect but everything else looked really tasty (especially quiches!). Cakes looked amazing as well but am more of a savoury person. Go and see!!

First and last time eating from here last night. As other posts have said chips were dry and raw dispite waiting about 20 minutes for them to be cooked. When I ordered he seemed to try and flog extra drinks at a discount (lemon coke) I'm guessing it was going off. Whilst I was waiting the man said he'd just made a batch of samosa's for a bulk order, and asked if I'd like to try one whilst I wait. I said go on then thinking it was a free snack. He then said 3.50 for the portion. Obviously I paid and thanked him. 🤦. Also I have never been to a chippy that has boxes in the hot section where the food is usually waiting. There was also a ping of a microwave, maybe defrosting something. Basically they need to either focus on cutty or chips.

Had a very nice afternoon here. The greek stew was excellent washed down with an Efes.

Lovely place, great staff and nice coffee! Reminds me of 'The Godfather' scene where Al Pacino avengers his fathers in the restaurant with Sollozo and Captain McKluskey.

Come in tonight to get dinner and when we got it home the fish was like mush cold/uncooked the two guys working in there seemed on edge and keep checking the door who was coming in The chips seemed vile the guys working don't have a clue how to cook or anything won't be going here again bring back Sam!!!!!!!!!! Worst food I've ever had.

Great service and lovely breakfast washed down with excellent coffee. Budget friendly too!

It was a special occasion and they made it extra special with a great dessert.

The burger tasted good but was the thinnest bit of meat i had ever seen. My milkshake was forgotten and is promised to be delivered
