Bano Phool in Bromsgrove

First time I've ordered from here and everything was excellent. One of the most incredible curries I've had in Birmingham in years. Delicious! Can't wait to try the rest of the menu.

On the tracking information it stated "enjoy your food" when it hadnt yet been delivered!

I’ve been a customer here for nearly 20 years. In that time I’ve never had a disappointing meal, eat in or take out. I have tried other curry houses on friend’s recommendation's and I always end up unfulfilled which never happens at the Bano. Foods amazing, quality ingredients and really tasty, staff really look after you and the restaurant is really nice. Cannot recommend highly enough. Had another fantastic evening and meal at Bano tonight. Food was class as always. Brilliant 👍

What can I say other than absolutely brilliant! Never had anything to complain about at the Bano Phool, service is excellent, these guys honestly can't do enough to help, and then there's the food, which is amazing. Freshly prepared and cooked to your preference and not tight on the portions either... delicious!!!

Always look forward to visiting Bano Phool. The food and service are always of the highest standard. They're not licensed, but you can bring your own drink. Prices are very reasonable.

Lovely resturant with great food. In particular great for Gluten free options. Menus was very easy to use regarding my choices! Friendly staff.

i booked a table over the phone a few days ago and even though we hadnt been there for a while the manager mia instantly recognised me.he even said is that george the butcher.weve been going there for 25 years or so and mia always asks about our 2 boys who are now 29 and 31 years old as he remembers them when they were very young.he is an absolute gentleman who treats everyone with high respect and as usual the staff,the food and service was superb.i highly recommend this restaurant and all the staff.

We have been here 3 times now. Each time I have had the chicken tikka pathia, and it has been really good. However, my partner has has a different curry each time, and he hasn't had the same experience. The first two curries were okay, but last night he had a butter chicken and it was not edible. It tasted like a cheesey coconut curry, it was very strange. The naan bread here is also not the best, it is quite dry

Hired the first floor out for a private function, approximately 30 people. The staff were very very helpful and polite, was always at least one whiter attending to our needs. Although it was such a large order all the food came out on time l, correct and hot. Would really highly recommend. 5 ⭐️

I had the privilege of eating at Bano Phool for the second time recently. The service and food were outstanding, as they were on my first visit. It was a much bigger crowd this time - about 40 of us - and staff were polite, patient, professional, and very hospitable. Would highly recommend!

Been here twice now- once with friends and once with family. Both times have been great! We ate in the restaurant. We hadn’t booked but the polite staff couldn’t do enough for us. We were ushered to a table they had created for us in the busy Saturday evening restaurant. We ordered our food (including my fussy daughter’s!) and nothing was too much trouble. The food arrived promptly and it was hot and delicious!! I had the Chicken Tikka Sag Tawa. It was clearly made with fresh ingredients- nothing frozen or from a jar. I really enjoyed it! My husband also had a Tawa with garlic fried rice. It was a lot of food, but he didn’t want to leave any as it was so good! My fussy daughter had a tikka starter with rice as a main dish and she ate every last bit! We also had a couple of Naan breads for the table. They were fresh and hot and unlike other restaurants, they WEREN’T covered in ghee or oil!! Much more to my liking. We were asked how the food was, and we were attended to very well indeed. There were lovely orange and mint chocs complimentary with the bill, and my daughter had a lollipop which made her very happy! Will definitely be visiting again. Would recommend!

I ordered takeaway and collected to receive the 30% off discount. The gentleman who served me was quick to fix the problem when I pointed out the 30% had not been taken off the total bill. The food is good and tasty. I've ordered both takeaway and eat-in before. The staff are friendly. This time, I ordered chicken biryani, mixed tandoori, and paneer tikka balti, plus lemon pilaf and naan. I would recommend.

We recently celebrated mine and my daughters birthday at the Bano Phool, and it was a such a wonderful evening. The food was amazing and the staff are so lovely and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble to ensure we had a great evening! It was warm and inviting, making it a perfect for a special occasion. The menu offered a fantastic variety of dishes, and every item we ordered was really lovely and enjoyed by all! Bano Phool made the birthday celebration truly special. Excellent service from the polite and welcoming staff even though we arrived on the hoof with no booking. The restaurant was busy on a Thursday evening and obviously local regulars which is always a good sign. A comprehensive menu and our meal was excellent. Thank you.

Omg .. this is the nicest food I've had takeaway for ages. .. lovely taste .. lovely portions.. I highly recommend takeaway from here ... Will be my first number 1 to go to for a curry . Mmmmmm 😘👌😁 was my first and every time ordering from here ... 💯%as of 22nd march 24,.. last 2 nights IV had baltie cauliflower agaloo... Was lovely but had lots of hard cauliflower stalkes . Not much of the nice soft flower heads .. and only 2, piece's of potato... Still nice but would like less more hard cauliflower stalkes and more potatoes... Nice tho ... Maybe 6/10 now ..

Food took 1 hour and 52 minutes to arrive, food was OK. But that time is just simply unacceptable on a Tuesday and being told 1 hour tops for delivery.

Only ever had a take out but the food is 10/10 and the portion sizes are good, moved into the area about a year ago and been shopping around for a decent take out and finally found one that me and the rest of the family are happy with 😃 only downside for collection is parking can be a bit of a nightmare, but you can always find somewhere 🍛

I messed up one of the side orders slightly and they replaced it within 10 minutes, the driver came back and delivered a replacement side.

There is only two places I’ll have a curry In Birmingham, one is my home when Bano Phool deliver it and the other is at their restaurant. Fantastic food, always fresh & hot, extremely tasty and brilliant value for money.

For your money, and in my opinion you cannot beat this place for a curry! I have never had a bad meal here, everything is beautifully cooked and the lads are great!! And the fact you can take your own beers/wine in.........10/10 all day long! If you're ever stuck on making a decision on where to eat out, give it a go. You won't be disappointed 👌(South Indian Garlic Chilli - King Prawn) if you like it spicy 🔥 is absolutely banging!

We went there for the first time after being recommended it. I can honestly say we all had the best curry we have had in years. Staff were friendly and really helpful and the prices were reasonable. We will return with friends very soon.

I have been going to the Bano for about 25yrs. We have had so many memorable nights there with friends and family.The staff are very welcoming and always have time to chat to you and ask how your family are. The food is very good and they will go out their way to provide food that suit your taste buds even if it's not on the menu. Would definitely recommend!👍🙂

Been here once, when it was recommended as Indian restaurant by someone, but walked out as it wasn't actually Indian. Staff also agreed it's Bangladeshi and not Indian. Not quite sure why the restaurant owners are misleading people claiming it as an Indian cuisine restaurant when it's not.

I have been ordering takeaway from these guys for years! I have coeliac disease, not once have I ever been made poorly - they take extra care clearly and the food is always so tasty! I ordered once and I’d picked something which very clearly on the menu had gluten in - they phoned me back straight away and I changed my order.

Best Indian around by a mile, food is delicious and the staff are brilliant!! You won't be disappointed!!

Possibly one of the best Indians we have ever had. Found the place by accident. Food was excellent served in a nice atmosphere. The place was pretty full with lots of orders for take-outs being picked up. This did affect service a little but not really in a bad way, somehow felt a little more relaxed because of! Staff were friendly (and run off their feet) and the toilets clean. Will go back again. Book a slot as it was busy oh and its bring your own booze

I have been to the Bano for about 22yrs. I have celebrated at the Bano my 40th 50th and now my 60th birthday, and hopefully many more birthdays. Mia and the staff always greet you with a smile and the service is fab. The food is delicious and alter their dishes to suit your taste buds if needed. What more could you want!

First time here tonight.. sorry to say we wont be returning. Staff very pleasant and welcoming. Placed order and asked for my balti with NO onions and slightly hot. I got practically madras and masses of onions!! Husband ordered the King Prawn with chicken tikka and just got chicken tikka. We didnt like to say anything as was a fair few in there so we just ate it but didnt enjoy 😒

Staff are friendly enough and let you get on with your meal in peace. I had their South India Curry. Really nice dish, great spice level and a real fresh flavor. It was a perfect curry night for our group of 6. Cheap menu too.

Tonight I had excellent customer service. The gentleman who delt with my queries was so caring and understanding. The service I have received is very rare and I can't thank the staff enough. The staff member was knowledgeable of the menu and knew exactly what I wanted.

Had four from here got told they don't give free popadoms so ordered a starter what wasn't cheap at all only to sit down and every one else came in and guess what free popadoms it was me and my ten year old daughter bloody bill came to 53 pound absolutely ridiculous won't be coming here again spoke to a few pals they also agreed place is to expensive I know a good few curry houses that do better food down lady pool road jalf the price
