Bano Phool in Bromsgrove

Excellent service from the polite and welcoming staff even though we arrived on the hoof with no booking. The restaurant was busy on a Thursday evening and obviously local regulars which is always a good sign. A comprehensive menu and our meal was excellent. Thank you.

Omg .. this is the nicest food I've had takeaway for ages. .. lovely taste .. lovely portions.. I highly recommend takeaway from here ... Will be my first number 1 to go to for a curry . Mmmmmm 😘👌😁 was my first and every time ordering from here ... 💯%as of 22nd march 24,.. last 2 nights IV had baltie cauliflower agaloo... Was lovely but had lots of hard cauliflower stalkes . Not much of the nice soft flower heads .. and only 2, piece's of potato... Still nice but would like less more hard cauliflower stalkes and more potatoes... Nice tho ... Maybe 6/10 now ..

I have just had a meal this evening with 5 friends at this wonderful restaurant. The atmosphere was lovely, staff couldn’t do enough for us and the food was delicious. Thank you all at Bano Phool for a very lovely evening!

Our first takeaway from here .......live a fair distance away ....food still hot and was amazing .. no cubes of chicken....proper chicken pieces......Will definitely use again ....

Food took 1 hour and 52 minutes to arrive, food was OK. But that time is just simply unacceptable on a Tuesday and being told 1 hour tops for delivery.

Only ever had a take out but the food is 10/10 and the portion sizes are good, moved into the area about a year ago and been shopping around for a decent take out and finally found one that me and the rest of the family are happy with 😃 only downside for collection is parking can be a bit of a nightmare, but you can always find somewhere 🍛

There is only two places I’ll have a curry In Birmingham, one is my home when Bano Phool deliver it and the other is at their restaurant. Fantastic food, always fresh & hot, extremely tasty and brilliant value for money.

For your money, and in my opinion you cannot beat this place for a curry! I have never had a bad meal here, everything is beautifully cooked and the lads are great!! And the fact you can take your own beers/wine in.........10/10 all day long! If you're ever stuck on making a decision on where to eat out, give it a go. You won't be disappointed 👌(South Indian Garlic Chilli - King Prawn) if you like it spicy 🔥 is absolutely banging!

We went there for the first time after being recommended it. I can honestly say we all had the best curry we have had in years. Staff were friendly and really helpful and the prices were reasonable. We will return with friends very soon.

I have been going to the Bano for about 25yrs. We have had so many memorable nights there with friends and family.The staff are very welcoming and always have time to chat to you and ask how your family are. The food is very good and they will go out their way to provide food that suit your taste buds even if it's not on the menu. Would definitely recommend!👍🙂

Been here once, when it was recommended as Indian restaurant by someone, but walked out as it wasn't actually Indian. Staff also agreed it's Bangladeshi and not Indian. Not quite sure why the restaurant owners are misleading people claiming it as an Indian cuisine restaurant when it's not.

I have been ordering takeaway from these guys for years! I have coeliac disease, not once have I ever been made poorly - they take extra care clearly and the food is always so tasty! I ordered once and I’d picked something which very clearly on the menu had gluten in - they phoned me back straight away and I changed my order.

Best Indian around by a mile, food is delicious and the staff are brilliant!! You won't be disappointed!!

Possibly one of the best Indians we have ever had. Found the place by accident. Food was excellent served in a nice atmosphere. The place was pretty full with lots of orders for take-outs being picked up. This did affect service a little but not really in a bad way, somehow felt a little more relaxed because of! Staff were friendly (and run off their feet) and the toilets clean. Will go back again. Book a slot as it was busy oh and its bring your own booze

I have been to the Bano for about 22yrs. I have celebrated at the Bano my 40th 50th and now my 60th birthday, and hopefully many more birthdays. Mia and the staff always greet you with a smile and the service is fab. The food is delicious and alter their dishes to suit your taste buds if needed. What more could you want!

First time here tonight.. sorry to say we wont be returning. Staff very pleasant and welcoming. Placed order and asked for my balti with NO onions and slightly hot. I got practically madras and masses of onions!! Husband ordered the King Prawn with chicken tikka and just got chicken tikka. We didnt like to say anything as was a fair few in there so we just ate it but didnt enjoy 😒

Staff are friendly enough and let you get on with your meal in peace. I had their South India Curry. Really nice dish, great spice level and a real fresh flavor. It was a perfect curry night for our group of 6. Cheap menu too.

i booked a table over the phone a few days ago and even though we hadnt been there for a while the manager mia instantly recognised me.he even said is that george the butcher.weve been going there for 25 years or so and mia always asks about our 2 boys who are now 29 and 31 years old as he remembers them when they were very young.he is an absolute gentleman who treats everyone with high respect and as usual the staff,the food and service was superb.i highly recommend this restaurant and all the staff.

We absolutely love this restaurant, always 5* service and amazing food. Christmas dinner today was sensational. We love the fact that the staff are not only welcoming but genuinely friendly. Tonight I had excellent customer service. The gentleman who delt with my queries was so caring and understanding. The service I have received is very rare and I can't thank the staff enough. The staff member was knowledgeable of the menu and knew exactly what I wanted.

Had four from here got told they don't give free popadoms so ordered a starter what wasn't cheap at all only to sit down and every one else came in and guess what free popadoms it was me and my ten year old daughter bloody bill came to 53 pound absolutely ridiculous won't be coming here again spoke to a few pals they also agreed place is to expensive I know a good few curry houses that do better food down lady pool road jalf the price

It's a great place to buy an Indian takeaway from. The food is consistent as are the portions. The paneer quantity is usually a little low so the amount of sauce per dish, which is what I've found several times. It's definitely better to eat in if you can rather than ordering a takeaway.

Collected a take away. Had Chicken Balti. Very poor indeed, tasted like it was made out of a jar, to be honest, have made better curries at home. Will not be going back.

Not been in here for long time,food was very nice,however the prices are very expensive. 3 chicken baltis,3 nans,3 garlic rice.. £54.00. That's to expensive. Curryfair is far cheaper.

Had a fabulous meal there this evening, the paneer dishes were excellent and the Peshawari Nan was drizzled with honey - amazing. Portions were plentiful, staff very friendly and efficient. I will definitely be going again!

Food not too bad but dishes a bit spicier than expected. Quite expensive but trying to be a restaurant rather than a curry house without food and service to quite match. A bit of a 90s curry experience.

Excellent food. If you don't know what to order the waiters ever willing to help you decide. Not licensed. Bring your own drinks. Its take away as well as restaurants service. Will go there again as the food is excellent and it's not greasy.

Glad to see the re-opening of Bano Phool after their 2021 kitchen refurb. Certainly missed their lovely food and can safely say this is still the best Indian restaurant in the area. Friendly, welcoming staff mean it is well worth a visit…but regardless of whether you eat in or take out, their food will keep you coming back for more. If you plan to eat in and fancy an alcoholic drink then remember to bring this with you as the restaurant is not currently licensed.

Keema's are THE best. Always delivered on time, always lovely and hot. Always a good serving.

Switched to this restaurant after recommendation and will definitely keep ordering from here, my family all had superb quality meals. Recommend the BP special starter, prawn on piri, Shatkuti chicken and mushroom rice, generous portions, really fresh clean mixed salad was a nice touch, absolutely delicious meal and discount for collecting, really lucky to have this in the village.
