Fantastic meal and overall a lovely atmosphere I had Sagwala and it was delicious and well presented

HORRENDOUS - made a booking online which said it was an enquiry and I need to wait for confirmation after a few days still no one had got in touch to confirm so I rung the restaurant in which they couldn’t find the online enquiry so went ahead and made a booking for me. Throughout the week I had 4 separate phone calls to confirm the booking then 1hl it and half before we were he had a final 5th phone call to confirm the booking AGAIN!!! They had got the time of the booking incorrect but and hour and there is no way I could move my guests as they were coming form all over. The restaurant said to give them 5 mins and they would call me back they never did. I rang and they confirm my time had been agreed and all was okay. I arrive at the restaurant to chaos there must have been 20 people standing waiting in the middle between table and out onto the street. My table surprisingly wasn’t ready I was told to wait 10 mins for a table who had just been served there mains to leave. They had probably around a hour left of eating there food and deserts. All the other tables were empty. All my guests had arrived at this point and there was no sign of us being seated. I ran over the road to Indian fusion who accompanied us and were friendly warm and welcoming. I tried to speak to the owner of Vicroy to give them a chance to apologise but he was in the kitchen and leaving his staff to face the yet more customers who had booked tables but either bookings couldn’t be found or tables were over booked. They have lost a customer here as I would never return.

Outstanding food , so many restaurants to choose from and the competition is very high. I have tried all of them over the years. This in my opinion is the best by far.

Best Indian food we’ve ever had! The staff was amazing, and the ambience was perfect. Everything was so fresh, with great attention to detail. Every dish was presented beautifully. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience, and it was all very affordable. Thank you!

What a great new restaurant in Bromsgrove. Plenty of choice on the menu and very reasonably priced. Service was great from a very polite waiter. The food was fabulous. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We then heard the ladies sitting near us also discussing how good their food was. Just remember to take a bottle as they do not serve alcohol. But will definitely be returning.

I visited Viceroy yesterday for my wife's birthday. I loved the decor and food, the restaurant was very cosy and had excellent food. The service was great as they made us feel very special for my wife's 37th birthday. We definitely will be back again and it will be our regular place to visit. I highlh recomend Viceroy to everyone. Thank you again for making our night amazing.

Best Indian I have tried in the UK for many years. Tender Bombay lamb that was Devine. bring your own beer / wine. Food is Devine. Peas Pilau rice is off the scale delicious. The only problem with this place is that it is 150 miles from my house. People of Bromsgrove support this amazing restaurant you are lucky to have this gem on your doorstep.

Really good meal , starter was lovely, chicken balti was really tasty and the nan bread was fantastic, plus great service

Was really looking forward to going to India Spice for our annual Christmas get together on 29th December. Unfortunately the experience wasn’t one I will be repeating! I found a blue rubber band in my curry and when I reported this to the staff member, he shrugged his shoulders. I wasn’t offered any apology or a refund on my curry! The other curries were mediocre at best. Needless to say I won’t be going again!

Waited over an hour for a table we'd already booked when arriving on time. Curry was just spiced with chilli powder rather than authentic chillis/ spices. By the time food was served, everyone else had left and we were only table left.

Lovely staff and fantastic food. The staff were very attentive and pleasant during my wait in the restaurant for my takeaway. Will certainly be visiting again soon!

Waited 1hr 45min for cold food will not be ordering again i would steer clear

Ordered at 19:51 and Estimated delivery was updated to later slot of 20:55-21:15 due to delays at restaurant. No delivery received by 21:30 so used the help on the app. Got text for updated delivery to give me new time of 21:40 and app updated with new delivery time. Still no delivery by 21:40 - ended up arriving at 21:50 … total of 2 hours after ordering. Food quality pretty good but late delivery meant I had past good time to eat so only ended up eating half of it. Very disappointed and won’t

We had a family meal here with poppadoms and mains. We arrived at 6.30 on a Friday and by the time we left the restaurant was full. We all had different curries which everyone said they enjoyed. Would go again.

Said the order was on its way 45 minutes before it arrived.

This was a surprise. I have had their menu, which came through the door, for some time and thought I would give it a try before the menu disappeared to the bin. I had the delivery. The food was absolutely excellent, big portions and the taste was superb. Once I came to write the review, I see they are also a restaurant and so that will be what we do next. If it's also a great experience then we will be making this our go to. Definitely worth trying if you haven't already.

We came last night for a meal I had a pathia my husband a madras absolutely beautiful couldn't fault a thing even bought a doggy bag home as I couldn't do it all justice. Really lovely friendly staff that couldn't do enough for you .We will definitely be back again soon .

Went with a big group of people. The staff was nice and the food great. The only problem I would say is they need to do some improvements on the toilet, it didn't look very hygienic. Overall great meal though.

Detailed analysis.... In the area for an event, been a very long day. So made an online order at 8.30pm. Website was easy to use, although it did take a bit of scrolling through. Chose the pay by cash option. I left specific instructions for the driver, and my phone number, instructing to call when they left the restaurant. Driver called me 40 mins later, but was already at the security gate and knew where I was staying ... he had to wait for me to walk down to him. Driver was very friendly and didn't mind waiting for me to walk down. Food.... Ordered ... Lamb Bhona. Veg pilau rice Keema Naan 2 poppadoms Lamb Bhona, I don't do a lot so spice, which is why I like Bhona. But it was pretty bland, wasn't much rich tastes that you would expect with a bhona. Could have been better. Veg rice had amazing flavour but was mostly potato, the carrots were diced into teeny tiny pieces and didn't add much to the rice, could do with larger veg pieces. Keema Naan was a bit over done but otherwise was OK. No probs with poppadoms. Overall .... Giving it 4 stars because it was a sat evening and they were probably busy... Would order again if I'm back this way, but would make a recommendation of slightly larger Veg pieces in the rice tho 😊😊😊😊

Had a wonderful curry here, staff were attentive and delivered everything a great curryhouse should do. Highly recommended. They don't have an alcohol license, but that's not a bad thing. Take what you like. Bailey's around the corner for some craft beers.

I went for a meal with my daughter and it was brilliant as usual. The staff are really helpful and the food was great. A good tip is that they do a deal Monday to Wednesday which makes it cheaper aswell.
