The best restaurants in England

Over the last few months, I have been regularly ordering my healthy meals to help me maintain my diet and fitness plan. Due to my busy schedule at work, I find it very easy to collect my meals on a monthly basis and saves a lot of cooking time! Each meal has its own individual taste freshly cooked and a wide variety of options on the menu that you can choose from. After defrosting my meals, they still test as good as fresh. I will highly recommend to try these meals, especially if you are trying to gain weight lose weight or have some kind of fitness plan as it will save you from cooking and hundred percent keep you throughout the days and weeks during your diet fitness journey. The meals do test like frozen meals or any other meals I’ve tried before they actually taste like home-cooked meals which is the main reason why I keep ordering on a monthly basis. Service has been brilliant! 🤩

We used heat & soul to cater my mother’s wake. For the most part the food and service was ok, however I would have expected more proactive communication on their part as I had to chase them on various occasions related to the booking process and also on the day in relation to timings as some of the food went out later than expected. There were a couple of dishes that had too much pepper in them (the Chicken soup and coleslaw). As for the dessert, it was a disappointing (Spiced Apple crumble, which was actually Apple and Pecan crumble). We were not told about addition of nuts in the dish until I saw it being served and I saw what I thought was nuts. I asked the server if there were nuts in the dish, he said he didn’t know and was going to ask. As a fellow chef and caterer I find it incomprehensible, for obvious reasons, to put nuts into a dish and not inform us is just plain irresponsible. We didn’t get a chance to try the Apple crumble at the taster session as we were told he didn’t have time to make it. Not only were we not told about the nuts in the dish but the apples weren’t cooked enough and the crumble was burnt in places. We reached out the the caterers after the event to give them feedback and they not respond. This in my opinion shows a complete lack of professionalism.

Uncomfortable chairs, tables too close together, dogs allowed to sit on seats, tables not cleaned the whole time we were there, floor absolutely filthy and waitresses stroking dogs then going behind the counter to carry on serving without washing their hands. Totally unhygienic and unacceptable. Definitely will not be returning.

We visited Salt and Shine the new Thyme for Meze. We were seated upstairs which was fine, but cold in a Feb lunch time in Chorley. Bizzare that you are seated then have to go to the bar to order, is this a restaurant or a cafe? The food was great, we had white wine, but no bottle chiller, maybe that is why the place was cold! Not expensive and would return, but some easy wins for this new venture, I hope you make the little improvements as could see you as a big hit.

Absolutamente increíble experiencia. Elegimos el menú degustación y para ser honestos todo lo servido fue genial. De los entrantes / platos servidos nos gustó mucho la mantequilla de ternera, la gallina de los bosques, las gambas y el salmón. Pero el postre con queso dulce, coco, piña, naranja ácida fue el mejor postre que tuvimos y tuvimos que pedir otro: ). El personal era muy atento y súper amable explicando todo lo servido, en general muy buena experiencia a precios decentes para un restaurante de estrella Michelin. Realmente lo recomiendo.

We were passing by the stall and my son asked if he could try Caribbean food for the first time so we made a spontaneous stop. We tried a takeaway portion of jerk chicken & rice mixed with a bit of BBQ to tone down the spice for my young daughter who was also keen to try. It was fantastic! Their first try definitely won't be the last!

It was a little difficult to find in the first place. Located in a hostel on the first floor. The food was fresh but appropriated for white people. No flavour and pretty bland. The portion size was good

We would TOTALLY agree with the One review. A gem of a find. It has been a very long time since we have enjoyed such finger-licking (yes, we had the tiger prawns; exceptional, as were the samosas!) unpretentious, tasty, expertly prepared, top quality food, for a very reasonable price. All freshly prepared, as we waited. Met with a warm welcome, with an abundance of enthusiasm to check we were enjoying our flavoursome Portuguese fayre. Our taste buds had a full workout! Our hosts are rightfully proud of their mama’s culinary skills and the evident love and care she lavishes on her creations. The menu is simple, but powerful. We will definitely be back for more. Never go anywhere else to eat when visiting town, in fact we make a special trip just for our lunch. All the food is homemade and the specials are top notch. If the Corned beef pie is on the specials then that is a must!! The atmosphere is welcoming, friendly and that goes for the customers and the staff and the owner/chef is a great guy!

I found this cafe to be excellent great food freshly cooked we travel from Keighley as a group of friends just to have breakfast here every so often

We have drove past this place many times and always said we would give it a try - today was the day! We were pleased to see that they have an upstairs area with additional seating which was useful as seating is limited in the main part of the deli. I ordered the chicken pesto melt and my partner ordered the halloumi, harissa and hot honey sandwich with a side of crispy potatoes. We also ordered a vanilla latte and a vanilla iced latte. Both the food and drinks were very tasty and plentiful. The sandwiches arrived toasted with crisps on the side which was a nice addition. We found the menu to include a varied choice of options which swayed away from the generic cafe sandwiches which is always good to see. We will certainly return as the food was good quality and a reasonable price.

I needed somewhere that delivered a Sunday roast due to recovering from heart surgery and I came across this place nearby that did just that. Once it arrived it was hot and smelt amazing. The portions were very generous and the food tasted absolutely amazing! Me and my kids absolutely enjoyed every bit. It was all homemade even the Yorkshire puddings. We even have the puddings and the crumbles were excellent. Honestly this place is a little gem and we will certainly be repeat customers. Thank you all for a lovely meal

I have never known a chippy half as generous as this. Lovely people. One portion of chips is enough for two people. I honestly wonder how they make a profit considering how generous they are. Highly recommended to anyone and everyone!
