I needed somewhere that delivered a Sunday roast due to recovering from heart surgery and I came across this place nearby that did just that. Once it arrived it was hot and smelt amazing. The portions were very generous and the food tasted absolutely amazing! Me and my kids absolutely enjoyed every bit. It was all homemade even the Yorkshire puddings. We even have the puddings and the crumbles were excellent. Honestly this place is a little gem and we will certainly be repeat customers. Thank you all for a lovely meal

Popped in for Sunday lunch with my wife , we were seated straightaway , served by a very cheerful helpful lady who took our order and within 10 mins we were tucking in into an absolutely amazing Sunday roast. Amazing value for money , great service, lovely staff, will 100% be back, well done 👍

We had a Full English at Memories New Holland and it was excellent. Very nice atmosphere and service. We could not fault it.

We booked a table for Father’s Day, it was the first time we visited since the move to New Holland. Food was gorgeous, lovely sized portions, friendly staff. Our table was clean and tidy and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Lovely new venue too. Thank you Memories!

Thank you to memories for our fathers day meals. We had take away Sunday dinners, afternoon tea and sponge pudding. I couldnt fault it. All ready for me to collect and we were well and truly stuffed. Not my first visit but was the first since the move and worth going a little further for. I wanted to show my appreciation as there arent enough small businesses in general let alone doing proper food! Thumbs up from dad too

We booked in for Sunday lunch. When we arrived, we were shown straight to our table. The table was filthy! The cafe was busy but everyone in there was sat eating. There were 4 members of staff boxing up food for takeaways which led to us having to wait 20 minutes before being served (all food was already out and was in a large heated trolley). We were only asked which meat we'd like, so everything came on our plates whether we wanted it or not.I don't like cauliflower cheese and my lumpy mash was piled on top of it and my meat laid over it too.The Yorkshire puddings were well overcooked and were absolutely hollow inside.The Beef tasted like it was boiled in Rosemary and was very chewy.The gravy was watered right down and the roast potatoes had been sweating and had gone soggy.The staff slopped it onto the plates like something you'd see in a prison film.There was zero distancing as all customers were sat back to back.The only positive was that the portions were a good size.They clearly cannot cope with Sunday lunches and should stick to being just a cafe.

I ordered afternoon tea to be delivered to my wife's parents as a special treat for their 53rd wedding anniversary on Wednesday last. Ordering was straightforward, a very helpful lady made sure that they had no allergies or food dislikes. The food was delivered exactly on time, they were delighted with the quality, variety and amount of food provided. They said that the food was "Sensational". There was so much food that they couldn't finish it at one sitting. I was very impressed with the price and will certainly use the delivery service again and would recommend it to my friends.

Having moved back to Barton in September I have been renovating my house and am regularly unable to cook, due to the mess, so Memories has become my go-to choice for lunch on the run. The staff here are always courteous and more than willing to help, and the food is delicious - in all the time I have come here (before and after the move) I have never had a bad meal. There is a gluten free option on the bread and the menu is set out in a clear way so that you can easily see why you are getting plus there is a varied range. You can pay with cash or card, and if you are a regular visitor there’s a loyalty scheme where you get your sixth hot drink free. There is an area outside the back of the cafe where smokers can sit and smoke whilst eating, alternatively it’s a nice sun trap in the summer. The staff have done their best to ensure that social distancing measures are observed whilst also maintaining a pleasant environment, and each table is cleaned between each set of diners. You’ll get value for money when you come here, and all with a smile.

We booked afternoon tea at memories for a family birthday and it was fantastic. Lovely warm friendly greeting and table looked amazing. Food was as always exceptional with lovely choice of sandwiches with home made sausage rolls and quiche with added extras. Lovely variety of cakes and fresh cream and jam with homemade scones too. Endless tea and coffee.We even had candles on cakes and happy birthday sung to us. A lovely personal touch.Nothing is too much trouble at this super cafe. I cannot recommend it enough. Sharon Holt.

Out walking in the area for the day what a fantastic little find it was. We were served by both a lovely young man and a young lady and the service was exceptional.The food was freshly prepared and piping hotThe place is exceptionally clean and tidy and we would certainly recommend this to everyone we know.

Called into our favourite tea room for lunch today. You can never be disappointed with memories. As always service was excellent and what lovely people they all are. Food was delicious. All home cooked to perfection and a very enjoyable visit. Excellent value for money too.You really must go if you haven't tried it yet. Can't recommend enough.Will be back soon for sure. What a great place, this is our second visit as loved it so much the first time. This time we had the afternoon tea which was spectacular. It was served within 5 minutes of us arriving with copious amounts of decaffeinated tea and coffee. The sandwiches were lovely and fresh with home cooked Turkey, ham and cheese there was salad, quiche and pork pie which were all delicious and lots of sumptuous cakes.Staff were attentive and friendly, nothing was too much trouble.We will definitely be back.

I have visited this tea room occasionally for coffee, so after reading reviews of the afternoon teas I booked for myself and daughter in law for her birthday treat. All I can say is it was fabulous. Great food the sandwiches were so fresh, loads of cakes. Too much for us so we took doggy bags home. The staff are lovely and could not do enough to please us. I highly recommend this tea room and it is not expensive. Thanks for a lovely time.

Basic cafe but that is something that is needed at times. Have only been for breakfast fry ups but even so you can see that there is a pride in what they do and want to serve you well.

Went here for the first time today and will definitely be back. The staff were really helpful and friendly, the food delicious and home cooked and the price was very reasonable. A lovely homely friendly place.

As my husband and I are having Christmas Dinner here I thought I would have a taster today. I was not disappointed. The meal was a good old fashioned one, with fresh veg and 'proper' turkey. Debbie and Angie were absolutely brilliant as usual. I can thoroughly recommend.

As a coach driver value for money is important. After dropping a school party in Barton, went for a breakfast, absolutely fantastic meal quality, service and cleanliness all full marks. Will definitely visit again

Today I took my mum and dad for lunch. They absolutely love this little cafe, the lovely staff make a fuss of them both, nothing is to much for the staff. Perfect little place. You make my parents real happy that is why I drove them from our east Hull village come. X hopefully I haven't left my new boots I bought and have left them in my car.

A lovely cafe with friendly staff, excellent steak pie! And home made chips. Highly recommend. Will be returning soon to try out the homemade beef stroganoff

Overcrowded with tables and chairs. Harassed staff stomping around. Bland defrosted chilli, mild at best cheese, tasteless baked potato. A wholly unpleasant experience.

Our first visit to this new cafe in Barton and it won’t be our last. We booked a table for 8 people for afternoon tea and everyone was impressed by the variety, quality and the amount of food we were served. From a wide variety of sandwiches, pork pies, scotch eggs, lemon cup cakes, chocolate orange slices, ginger cakes all finished off with bite size scones jam and clotted cream, all absultly fantastic. All washed down with copious amounts of tea or coffee, perfect.

We have visited the Tea room a number of times the past few months. A new place opened since late last year.

I have eaten here a few times now with my 2 sons and we never leave disappointed. Great food and service with plenty to chose from.

Our meal today was excellent, roast beef and all the trimmings. Cannot fault the establishment, friendly atmosphere and nothing is too much trouble. Keep up the good work Debbie and Staff.

Was passing Barton and was recommended by Friends to give this place a try. Lots of choice on the menu and also a good children’s selection, everything really well priced too. Seen from the menu they also offer afternoon tea and Sunday lunches so will definitely be returning. Would recommend for anyone wanting a nice lunch or a casual coffee and something sweet.

Visited from hull with friends after reading great reviews we certainly wasn't disappointed such a very friendly little place . Plenty to choose from the daily menu breakfast sandwiches,paninis ,salads ,jacket potatoes and main meals spoilt for choice I had a lovely cappuccino and homemade beef stew baked dumplings mashed potatoes and vegetables all homemade and absolutely beautiful

Whilst out for a walk this morning around Barton upon Humber we where looking for somewhere to stop off for a cup of tea & a bite to eat, we came across a beautiful little place called memories tea and coffee room, I had a pot of tea & my wife had a coffee to which she said was the best she had tasted, the food we had was beautiful, homemade & freshly cooked, we where made to feel welcome by the owners & there staff, we will definitely be visiting again soon with my friends.

Stopped by here after a long walk. The food was cooked fresh and was delicious. The coffee is fresh and perfectly made.

Went into this lovely cafe on Saturday afternoon , we ordered one of the many special' s they have to offer .My wife ordered the Lasgne while I had the steak and ale pie whick was all home cooked .Both were very nice and would recommend anyone to try them, The two ladies were so nice who served us and even recommended the lovely cakes which were also homemade ,They even boxed us up a rocky road and chocolate brownie to takeaway with us has we were that full from the meal , will be recommending this lovely cafe to my family and friends

What a fabulous find. This tearoom is wonderful. Really friendly and welcoming staff. Choice of homemade food is lovely. Really good. Enjoyed it very much and will definitely go again and have recommended memories to everyone. Thank you for a very enjoyable visit.

the staff were very helpfull,very pleasant friendly atmosphere the food was freshly prepared and hot and cooked properlythe staff were also very helpfull with my husband who is disabled, would definatly use the tea room again

Popped in for a coffee with friends on a whim and was pleasently surprised. Had plum tart custard, apple pie custard and gluten free brownie (home made!) with 3 coffees. Service was friendly and helpful. Being gluten free I often miss out but I was well catered for and my brownie was delicious.

We called in on a Saturday lunch time and I was very impressed with the place, it was my first visit there although my wife had been once before for breakfast and she had been impressed with food and service that time. We received a nice welcome and chose a table at the rear of the place, I ordered one of the specials Beef stew and dumpling while my wife had a bacon bun, the place is very clean and the service from both the lady and young lad was very good and friendly. My beef stew had nice chunks of beef in it as well as veg and mashed potato with a nice big dumpling that was cooked perfect. The bacon my wife had was nice and thick and bread was soft. We will definitely be going back.

I was only passing through when I saw this place. I went in on the off chance that they did takeaway and they do, I got a bacon sandwich and a flat white. They were a fantastic start to my day. It definitely wont be my last time I call in there. Staff were very efficient and really friendly.

Just sat and had a lovely lasagne with homemade chips followed by homemade cake and custard! Just what was need on a cold windy afternoon off work! Lovely atmosphere and Debbie very welcoming and friendly! Had a lovely pot of tea in a china cup and a handmade cappuccino - this women must have been a Barista at some point! Fab skills!
