We went for the 5 course Saturday supper club and were not disappointed! It really is worth every penny. The food was delicious, so many flavours and just the right size portions that don't fill you up so you get to enjoy every course. Every dish was explained when served and the setting was lovely. Will be back!

Hmmmm. Bit of a shame really. We went a couple of times when they hadn’t been open long and loved it. Today however was pretty disappointing. I’m not sure if it was just a bad day or if standards have slipped a bit. My ‘woodland’ breakfast was 2 slices of dry toast, 3 pieces of wild mushroom, 5 cubes of very over cooked sausage and an over cooked poached egg. Obviously with the usual flourish of pickled onions and greenery. The herb aoli that was supposed to be on there, was nowhere to be seen. I didn’t notice that at the time or I’d of requested it. Anyway it looked stunning of course! However, this was very much style over substance. Very little food on the plate really, and not executed particularly well. The potato terrine on my partners breakfast was the blandest potato dish I’ve ever tasted, where’s the seasoning??? Now, I don’t want to make a big thing of the price point either. I’m WELL aware of increasing costs and the pressures on small businesses to break even, much less make a profit. I have no issue paying those prices for GOOD food. But it has to be worth it! You know… I have to leave saying ‘wow that was really delicious!’ Don’t get me wrong, it wasn’t awful! But it could, and should! of been much better

Excellent experience! Went for the five course supper club with friends. Each course was delicious and presented beautifully. The staff were welcoming and explained each dish. The kitchen is open and it appeared to be run professionally, smoothly and didn't create a noise or overpowering smells in the small dining room. I did notify of a seafood allergy in advance and this was catered for well, with no fuss or feeling like an afterthought. It can be a little difficult to spot, unless you know it's there - perhaps in time the signage could be improved, bit thats a small detail. It may seem a little pricey at £50 a head, but it is for five courses of restaurant quality food. I will be happy to visit again and recommend to others.

Why have we only just discovered this little gem virtually on our doorstep? We went for my wifes birthday and the experience was superb. Five courses of gastronomic excellence. This will probably become a regular visit.

What a fabulous bistro. I think it’s a cafe in the day but serves really top class food with excellent service at night. It’s a 5 course (almost set) menu. Amuse bouche, starter, choice of 3 mains followed by pre-desert and desert. Our meals were excellent; tasty, well presented and delivered with grace, explained thoroughly by the waitress. We accidentally arrived really late and yet the staff were gracious. They don’t have a license, so take something lovely to drink. Enjoy!

This place is soooo good. We tried the Supper Club on Friday evening and from the beef blade ‘kitchen treat’ to the Apple Pie it was heavenly food. Jumbo prawns in jerk sauce and I had a main of slow cooked Belly Pork. How he manages to pack so much flavour into these dishes is beyond me. The presentation is top notch and the dishes are full of quality ingredients. My friends had the Sea Bass and also Chicken. All dishes had harissa flavours, not too hot but extremely tasty. The staff are professional and knowledgable, this place never ceases to amaze me. Bring your own booze too

We have been to The Mushroom a few times for breakfast and Sunday Lunch. This is one of Nuneatons dining experience secrets. Each time we have been the food has been sublime. Last night we tried their Supper Club. This is a five course menu. This was a brilliant meal. Started off with the kitchen treat, followed by honey glazed duck, then slowed braised lamb. Finished off with a sorbet and finally crumble. All the dishes were excellent.

We went with another couple for a belated birthday dinner. Booked about a month in advance for the fixed menu on Friday night. I had the duck starter which was good and the duo of beef main which was epic. All the staff were super friendly and BYO does away with the usual mark-up on wine. Definitely will return.

A group of us booked in for Sunday lunch. Bring your own booze if you wanted to. There is a two or three course option. The meat was tender and nicely cooked. Veg was lovely and the Yorkshire puddings out of this world, how he got them so huge but so light I don’t know. Extra gravy if you needed it too. Lovely roasters. The staff are great and although it’s not a big space it’s comfortable and has a lovely vibe. Dessert was a range of brownies, cake, cheesecake or tart all with cream, ice cream or custard. What a lovely place

First time visit and we really enjoyed our Sunday lunch. The welcome was warm and the front of house/service was excellent. The food was perfect. How they produce such excellence from a small kitchen is a miracle! 3 courses for £26 is superb value for the quality. Highly recommend
