Thenga Cafe in Camden

It was a little difficult to find in the first place. Located in a hostel on the first floor. The food was fresh but appropriated for white people. No flavour and pretty bland. The portion size was good

Lovely food, friendly and very efficient service and reasonable prices. What a fabulous community cafe. It was a pleasure to meet San. I definitely recommend and urge you to visit and support this small business.

What an amazing discovery within walking distance frome King's x. Really lovely food, very good value, wonderful staff and simple comfortable environment. Tiny bit tricky to find, entrance on main street before you turn corner of Cromer Street and walked past it. So glad we went back and found it. Look out for ymca. Brilliant.

They make in my opinion the best ever onion Bhaji’s I’ve ever tasted in my life. The food for a non veggie person is also excellent. Plus service with a smile and chat is on a par with the food.

A simple restaurant serving Quality hone style Indian food. The key is the simplicity of the food. It suits western palate as it's minimally spiced. Yet it is very acceptable even if you have spicy taste. The owners are particularly helpful and friendly.

The food was incredible, the service and staff were impeccable. The only problem was that we found it on our last day in London looking for a vegan restaurant on the way to Euston. We would have happily gone back and hopefully will in the future. If you're a vegan or not I could not recommend Thenga Cafe enough.

Open canteen/dhaba style eating area. Small menu of food and drink, all very good. The friendliness of the staff rubs off on the customers. It really is well worth a visit

I have had lunch at Thenga several times now and absolutely love it. It is relaxed, friendly, reasonably priced and the food is simple, healthy and fabulous. The team there makes you feel very welcome and it's a great place to come on your own....

We asked Thenga Cafe to cater our Christmas lunch yesterday and they didn't disappoint. The food was lovely, and they took measures to be COVID-safe and sustainable, which we greatly appreciated. San was very helpful and communicated everything seamlessly. Thank you Thenga :)

I love this place and come here whenever I'm in the area. The food is tasty, nutritious and filling. Service is excellent - really friendly, and accommodating. the space is really relaxing - a complete contrast to the intensity of the surrounding area. Strongly recommend.

The location is not very noticeable as it's on the first floor in YMCA but it offers great Indian vegetarian food and desserts which are authentic and good value for money. The atmosphere is nice and relaxing, and they also do cakes and coffee.

I found Thenga when looking for some lunch in KX and instantly fell in love with it's relaxed, charming interior, friendly staff and those yum freshly cooked curry pots and naans! Have been back lots and it never disappoints. I can recommend their cakes too!!
