The Collective Incorporated in Leeds

We visited last night and from start to finish everything was fantastic. Starting with being met and taken to our table, to every course on the menu. Our preference would be to pick the 8 course as the 4 missed out on the Violetta Potato. The restaurant is beautifully designed and there is a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Every single member of staff are so polite and professional and was lovely to have a conversation with the chef Craig Rogan, he will certainly be following in his fathers footsteps and will not be long before receiving his Michelin star. One point of note- you book the table and it is yours for the night, no requirement to rush or leave in a specific timeframe. We have booked in again for Sunday lunch in May .. Would highly recommend.

Atmosphere was very hostile as soon as we entered. We tried to get a table but apparently it is reservation only now but that’s incorrect because I went last week for a coffee and there was no such thing. She did not give any option to make a reservation and was very adamant to turn us away. Unfortunately couldn’t get a name but she had piercings on her face, shoulder length hair, a dress and blazer with trainers. Wouldn’t recommend, the constant refusal seemed racially motivated. She was also contradicting herself when we called her out.

Absolutely fantastic. Food fabulous and Craig was a pleasure to talk to. Will be a shame if he stops doing Sunday lunches ☹️. Cocktails 🍸 beautiful.

Lovely dinner spot but poor service. The restaurant is lovely with a good atmosphere, great food. However all let down by the unbelievably slow service! It took at least 45 minutes before getting any food. Nobody on any of the tables nearby ever seemed to be eating either, we just felt like we were constantly waiting. For the price this should be better.

What a fabulous evening enjoying the 8 course tasting menu with my sister. Savouring the fabulous early courses, we kept thinking it can’t all be this good, but the menu continued to impress with every course. We declared the cured trout blinis a mouthful of heaven, and loved the sweet crabmeat dish offset with scotch bonnet, just warm enough without being too much, and the mushroom course blending cheddar tang with sweet and sour of sherry vinegar. Craig’s expertise shines in the perfect balance of flavours throughout this innovative and clever collection. The finest tasting menu we’ve had in a long time.

Incredible feat, astounding food create someone with pure passion for food. Wine pairing was terrible but I know this will be improved and we’ll be back. Some of the best dishes I’ve tasted in Europe.

Absolutely incredible food! Craig’s menu is beyond delicious and the food easily measures up to any Michelin star restaurant that we have experienced and at a very reasonable price. We would highly recommend trying their tasting manu, we will definitely be back!

Was recommended this new restaurant by friends and it was fabulous all round. Great space ambience service and superb food. We had the 8 course tasting menu which was perfect in presentation size and taste. Leeds is very lucky to have another great restaurant.

We had the 8 course menu in the evening, each dish a masterclass in flavour, texture and balance. Highlights for me were the beef cheek with purple mash and the crab/nduja dish but all were sublime The staff weee friendly and each dish was explained as it came

A fab, super stylish bar with delicious cocktails at very reasonable prices. The service was and surroundings were great. Totally recommend this venue!

What an absolute find this restaurant is. Knew of Craig as son of the famous Simon Rogan but he is a great chef on his own. Setting is perfect, 100m from train station, venue is very attractive, tables well spaced, front of house excellent. And the food is sensational. We went on a Sunday afternoon which is usually very difficult to get anything but a pub roast. We had two different amuse bouchées, a goats cheese toastie and a cods row cone, followed by a divine starter of crab, cucumber and nduja with a scotch bonnet sauce. My wife then had chicken and Hen of the Woods as her main, my friend and I had the glorious rump steak with an incredible yorkshire pudding stuffed with caramelised onions. After all that we didn't have room for desserts, but they looked great. As it was quite quiet, Craig himself served all the dishes and explained they have only been open 6 weeks, and what they have planned for the future. Cannot wait to return.

Fabulous Sunday dining experience. Every morsel was carefully crafted. The service was considered and spot on. Craig himself was a joy to speak with - he thoughtfully explained each component of each dish. Definitely recommended and look forward to revisiting

This was our first visit to Craig Rogans new venture in Leeds . It was Sunday so we had the Sunday lunch menu. We ordered most of the starter dishes on the menu and shared them . The main was a fabulous roast with amazing Yorkshire puddings veg and gravy. We then had one of the deserts and cheeses and shared . We loved everything we had, the chef was on hand to talk us through everything and the service and atmosphere was spot on!! This is definitely one of the best restaurants in Leeds right now and well worth a visit.

Dined on the 5 course tasting menu by Craig Rogan, out of this world food and great service! The Hen of the Woods mushroom course is to die for, the nut toast with goats cheese was amazing, cod and sea buckthorn appetiser was delicious. The full package and more… will definitely be back !

I had the vegetarian huevos rancheros before getting a train - it was one of the best breakfasts i’ve ever had. Highly recommended.

The Collective inc is a great place to relax and enjoy some incredible food and whats great is that by night from Thursdays onwards they have a tasting menu by award winning chef, Craig Rogan. I highly recommend The Collective for both coffee and food!...

Breakfast was eggs Benedict, omellete and smoked salmon with drinks for three. Plus the freshly made lemon drizzle cake which was lovely and moist 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Love this place, which it was abit bigger !

Having been here a few times, The Collective is the most relaxed cafe bar in Leeds. It covers all bases. Food, drinks, atmosphere, interior design. What else is there?!? Food is amazing, and the team are wonderful. Make sure you visit soon.

Arrived on a wet Saturday in July. Fairly busy place with a slight buzz about it. Clearly fairly new to the scene in Leeds. A concept of food, drinks and retail for the more exclusive consumer. Is it a step up form a Costa or...
