Another outstanding meal today in their covid safe covered area in the sunshine. So many dishes to choose from but ended up ordering fishcake and beetroot salad to start. Red snapper and steak for mains followed by chocolate calzone for dessert. Everything was delicious and served by very friendly attentative staff. We'll definitely be booking again soon.

Had a dine at home meal on 20th March. Every part of the meal was beautifully cooked and the portions were good size. No hesitation about repeating the experience.

We had a Valentine’s Day meal for my husband and I and our two children (10 and 14) delivered during lockdown. It was absolutely delicious! Generous portions, lovely food and simple reheating instructions. Definitely recommend. Felt like a real treat even though we’re in lockdown

Best food we’ve eaten in months! Paul delivered our 3-course dine at home menu for Valentine’s Day yesterday - chicken wings / arancini to start, steak and chips, and a dessert medley. Absolutely delicious food, with clear cooking instructions for the starter and mains. Will be recommending to anyone who will listen!

The food by the fabulous chefs was delivered to the door and the quality was exceptional for a Sunday roast - it was a treat for my daughter and her family and they said it was the best Sunday roast they had ever had - during lockdown this was such a very special treat

I cannot speak highly enough of the wonderful service from Blackmoor Dining Room during lockdown! The service was fantastic and the food was exceptional and beautifully presented. Highly recommend to anyone waning to celebrate a special occasion at home!

We have just enjoyed yet another beautifully presented and very tasty meal at this restaurant. The menu changes regularly and this time our choices were the brisket dish which my husband really enjoyed and I went for the pan fried chicken with cassoulet. The chicken breast was succulent, the cassoulet full of flavour and the two together were delicious. We passed on starters on this occasion to save space for desserts and went for the lemon meringue pie and mocha chocolate pot to finish our meal. Again both were thoroughly enjoyed. The tables were well spaced for social distancing and the waitresses wore masks.

We visited for Sunday lunch and the food was exquisite. The starters and desserts were a work of art and the roast beef just melted in your mouth. We couldn't fault the food or the service and have booked again for a Saturday evening.

We managed to get a last minute table on a Sunday. The service, food, view and atmosphere was all perfect. Each course tasted as good as it looks! Faultless

Our 2nd visit and was not disappointed. Salmon with beetroot was very tasty, pea mousse was delicious. We tried salmon spring roll, Maryland chicken , mushroom risotto and of course the Sunday roast. We all couldn’t help swapping to try each other’s not only is the food visually amazing the taste does not disappoint either. One of our party has had a very low appetite due to a health condition and he ate more of his meal here (Sunday roast) than he has in weeks. As we’ve been stuck in for months we went all out for pudding as well the sticky toffee pudding with the addition of choc orange on top was mouth watering and the olive cake the first time we’ve had a foam that actually tastes of anything! There was no disputing the lemon the pan scrub dessert that tastes fantastic. The staff here are as top notch as the food , inviting, friendly and very helpful which makes the experience first class , we will definitely be back. Unfortunately we were too busy eating to take pictures of everything but did get one.

A party of 5 of us booked for lunch last week. This was our 2nd visit and will not be our last. The menu changes regularly and our choices were again excellent. The roast beef and ox cheek dishes were particular favourites closely followed by the salmon and chicken dishes. Roast vegetables were a very flavoursome accompaniment. The desserts were also well received with the sticky toffee pudding served with ice cream a real triumph.The restaurant overlooks the golf course with magnificent views to enjoy and relax. The staff were attentive and made us feel very welcome. I would highly recommend dining there.

We had a five star experience at this hidden gem. We were treated to exceptional fine dining at a reasonable price. The food was so beautifully presented, it looked almost too good to eat! The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable too. Overall and wonderful experience which we’re very keen to repeat.

My first visit to the Blackmoor Dining Room for Sunday lunch . It certainly won’t be the last . Husband and I opted for the traditional Roast Beef with Yorkshire Pudding. The beef was as tender as it was tasty. (All too often the two are mutually exclusive) Yorkshire pudding,,a huge crispy skyscraper melted on the tongue. The vegetables set this meal apart , not the usual “ after thought “ roast potatoes your grandma would have been proud to call her own . The carrots and greens cooked to buttery perfection. I should have done the trendy thing and photographed the deserts . My husband had the chocolate orange Mille Feuille a picture on a plate . I opted for the home made ( obviously) custard tart with gold leaf cream, amazing., The service was also on point . Very Covid aware but lovely ,friendly and attentive. Needless to say, we will back .

I went here with my partner and my parents back in November. It was worth a drive to the other side of Leeds for us, all of us loved it! The food was really delicious and interesting and we had some lovely wine as well. The service was really friendly. I am really looking forward to going back here!

What a fantastic evening we have just had! Superb food and excellent service. We couldn’t ask for more. We were spoiled for choice on the carefully balanced menu. The beef was to die for and the cauliflower cheese was amazing. We will be back!

A 6 course dinner paired with 4 Slingsby drinks? Perfect ! Absolutely beautiful food, the ambience is lovely and the staff are truly wonderful. There was live music and an artist too - what a lovely touch !! We will be back again for sure, I can’t wait to try their Sunday lunch ! :) Thanks all for such a fab evening !!!

Had the most fantastic evening last night at the Blackmoor Dining Room. It was their first 'supper club'. It was such a fun, relaxed evening with the most amazing six course tasting menu each course with a unique twist by chef James Dempsey and all washed down with Slingsby Gin cocktails! specially prepared by their own mixolagist. Music was played by DJ Scott and we were able to watch live art by artist Sarah Thornton . Truly a fun night had by all.
