The best restaurants in York Yorkshire and The Humber

Called in to the Spa. Excellent service! Then went to the bar to have some light bites/small plates. Scallops were delicious & the oysters and tacos! Coffee also gorgeous too. ALL staff extremely helpful and welcoming! Just wish there was a pool but that’s all! Worth a visit & very close to shambles etc!

Asked for an empty takeaway cup for my 4 year old daughter but was asked to pay 20p for it. Staff was also rude.

Well, maybe it's because I'm getting a bit older now, the music was a bit loud, couldn't really have a conversation. In saying that the service was good, enjoyed what I had to drink 3 1/2 / 5

Went to try out the bingo on Saturday evening. We could have been approached much much better, with not being members.! Unfortunately we won't be going again.

First time from papasito , cheesy chips wraps for the kids , jups for the missus and i gotbthe chef special kebab all i can say is ..WOW ! Fantastic food , chef special kebab was huge ! Definitely recommend and i will be back 👍

Probably the best Chinese food in York, the staff are super friendly, the portions are on the large side, and are excellent value.

Still one of the best breakfasts in York and good prices to match, if you love a full English (show me someone who doesn't & I'll show you a moron) it's hard to beat this place for value for money!!

Vine aquí como un regalo de invierno para mi pareja que es colombiana (y para llegar a probar comida colombiana real para mí). El propietario terminó siendo de la misma ciudad que mi pareja, que era encantador. La comida era todo delicioso (y aparentemente auténtico! ) - super relleno así que nos llevamos postres para llegar a probar más tarde en el día. Incluso nos dejaron dejar nuestro equipaje y recoger más tarde en el día mientras exploramos la ciudad!

Great small cafe. Very friendly and excellent food. However, we also got her to make 30 cupcakes for a party, with 6 eing vegan friendly. What an excellent job she did.

Would like to address your recent review regarding a gentleman speaking to your staff in the shop. It was me and I would like to address each thing they brought up individually My smirking was merely smiling as I was having a laugh with the wonderful staff here The conversation regarding a flat white was about the quantity of milk to put in the jug before steaming and nothing about the making of the drink The comments on her left handedness was about how either of us would struggle to best explain how to hold the jug whilst steaming the milk as me and the member of staff training her are both right handed I can only apologise for perhaps the volume with which I speak at in what is usually a quiet and lovely environment, but the conversation went nothing like how you describe and frankly the coffee is phenomenal
