Very cozy restaurant would recommend going if you are ever around Hull Road. Portions are big and value for food is great. Stuff are super kind as well always on top of helping their customers :))

Great services btw super friendly when I arrived! Cash only tho but she let me pay the extra that I didn’t have via bank transfer. The food wasn’t amazing, wasn’t terrible just very bang average. I wasn’t very adventurous with my order as I was craving binge food but it didn’t deliver unfortunately. I will try other menu items next time

I ordered a vegetarian noodle soup and found that there was chicken and chicken broth in it. Very disappointed.

Amazing food and lovely people It's!! It's been a while since I was last in China, and authentic Chinese food is very hard to find in this country. But to whoever reading this: if you're on the hunt for authenticity and good people, you've found it now - Enjoy!

Avoid this place, the worst food I’ve ever been served and nothing like it’s shown in the menu. I guess the good reviews are from their friends and relatives or people with very low standards. My partner is Asian and we’ll eat anything but even she wouldn’t eat even the noodles.

Great food. Had the dry fried beans, mapo tofu and potato, pepper & aubergine, to name but a few. Brilliant taste and really good portions, glad I’ve found this place, been looking for a spicy Chinese place for a while. Really nice staff too.

Cash only so had to go to a machine. Nice sharing dishes. Me and my friends tried lots of different dishes and shared between us. The noodles are lovely here, little bit oily. But the big fish was my favourite and so delicious. We didn't expect it to have spam in it, I enjoyed the spam but my pescararian friend didn't so much like spam.

This place is legit! The flavours here were insane. Service was quick & it's a chilled atmosphere. I strongly recommend the jajangmyeon.

I would of given them five stars as food was delicious but lady on till I think she was a racist very miserable needs to learn some manners and find a smile

Been there before but prompted to write this review after last night's meal, the best I've had in a while. Love their pork intestine stir fry and their beef noodles but it's the Chinese cabbage and black fungus that absolutely blew my mind. Only downside of this place is that they're cash only.

The restaurant is small but with great food and massive servings, their serving could be shared by 2-3 people. Lots of option on the menu, they don't accept card payment but you could pay by bank transfer.

Generous portions but the food I ordered (home made vegetable noodles and a beef soup) was lacking the taste unfortunately. Another tiny issue with the presentation of napkins on each table as they could be out of the box and presented in a much nicer way :) No card payments either, however, there is a sign informing you of that as well as the restaurant staff said it straight away just in case. Other than that, friendly atmosphere, fair prices and the food came out really quickly!

I was traveling in York and found this Gem! Food is authentic, portion is generous. The taste really reminded me of home! Really loved it!

Got handmade noodles with pork ribs and soup, the pork fell off the bone effortlessly and the soup was reheated perfectly in the morning for breakfast without losing quality. We were warned the spicy noodles were very spicy and they were! But were still so flavourful and for someone with high tolerance provided a hard to find taste. The portions were huge and whilst waiting for takeaway they provided free prawn crackers and a seat which was completely unexpected.

The crispy Beijing Duck is the best in York! Generous portion of food. Excellent and friendly service. Tried their dessert fried glutinous rice balls with black sesame paste filling - Highly recommend.

Ordered a takeaway from here on Wednesday, very nice, very friendly lady in there very chatty will hopefully try when we can use restaurants again.

The duck was excellent! We had a number of take away dishes which were all good. Shall be eating take away from here again.

Called in an order to collect this afternoon. The lovely lady on the phone was very helpful as I had many questions (ordering for my pregnant and craving wife), and she helped me choose a great option even though I did not have a clear idea what to get! The food was extremely flavourful, so much so that I re-ordered the exact thing again the same evening! (Cantonese Style Crispy Beef and Chicken with Chinese Vegetables) Overall we will certainly be returning and looking forward to it. Thank you!

The most authentic and authentic Chinese dining experience in York. The Peking duck is so delicious!

Absolutely beautiful! A fantastic addition to our city. We went in and ordered the beef in chilli oil and it was the most delicious delicate well balanced Chinese dish I’ve tasted in York! A prefect balance of flavour and heat and the beef just melted in our mouth. Then there was the fried prawns and sweet and sour pork which was fried to absolute perfection and beautifully seasoned. We ended with some duck as you can see in the 2nd picture and we were not let down, so much flavour in each individual slice. Very reasonably priced as well! 4 dishes and unlimited rice! Best Chinese food I’ve had in York, so authentic, definitely see myself coming here over and over again in the future
