Just had a donner and chicken kebab with fried peppa fried onion mixed with the donner meat and chips I've eaten here for years and that was by far the best thing I've ever had

First time visiting Lukes. Had a Calzone and it was unreal - delicious and authentic - great favour, fresh ingredients, absolutely loved it. Will definitely return when I'm in the area to sample the rest of the menu 😋😋

Delivery was so fast but the food was lovely. The calzone was huge and tasty and so was the chicken kebab. First time we’ve used Luke’s but will definitely go there again

Always excellent food, never had a bad meal. Great portion size, we can never eat it all. Special burger is always packed with donner and the burgers are the best around. Just a shame that you can't order on the website / pay online.

Good but over priced 3.90 for cheesy chips is robbery.

Best takeaway in york. Really really need to expand their delivery to poppy Road so can order from them more. Lovely treat when I'm over that way. Only pizza in york worth eating 😋

Being in the food industry myself for many years know quality and consistency is a key. I knew this place as BBQ2, Pizza Milano, and then Luke's Takeaway which it now has been for around 20 years. As a youngster we would occasionally get treated to a Luke's pizza or kebab which was always on point. I have not been here for over 7 years as I had moved away, I got a Takeaway for the family last night, 2 pizzas and 2 large donners and got a hit of nostalgia, still the same top quality and taste. Thank you Luke and Wife

Got a pepperoni pizza it was very tasty not bland, pepperoni tasted rich and smokey.

I've always liked the pizza here. It has the kind of base that's got the right texture for me - not biscuity; nice and flexible. The fries are good too - tasty, crispy and soft in the middle. The guy behind the counter - I assume he is Luke - is not too talkative but friendly enough. All in all, a good place to go for a quick meal.

The best takeaway in York, no doubt about it. Reasonable prices, amazing food, and faster delivery than anywhere else. I'll never order a pizza from anywhere else in York ever again.

Hidden gem! The food in general, is excellent here. The Clifton special is to die for, and the chips are immense!
