A small and cosy Korean restaurant. The staff are friendly and welcoming and the price is reasonable. We ordered the beef stews with rice. The soup was very rich and tasty but there were few small pieces of beef. Another main dish we had was Bibimba which was delicious and not too greasy but it was minced pork instead of beef slices. My favourite was actually the homemade ginger tea which was nice and warming. The dumplings were decent but they tasted like frozen dumplings from Asian supermarket.

What a cheeky find this little gem was! Staff awesome - food awesome - great quality and flavoursome food. We will definitely eat here again on our next visit to York!

Food is ok and the room and service are pleasant. It is very expensive, though, for what it is. The Dolsot Bibimbap was mostly rice with just small servings of meat and uninteresting veg. Even though, it was already pricey they charge extra for an egg or kimchi.

Amazing 10/10 must visit this place if you’re in York. Beautiful atmosphere very personal, the staff are amazing and very welcoming. The prices are extremely reasonable And the food is to die for.

When I travel, I like to eat the food of that country, but honestly, there are almost no places in England that suit my taste. There was a Korean restaurant in York so I went there without any expectations. Oh my gosh, it was so delicious that it could have been opened in Korea, and my mouth felt full for the first time in a long time. 😋🤩

Nice little Korean restaurant. It’s cash/bank transfer only. It’s a popular little place, so food and drinks take a little while to come. The bibimbap was very good, unusual that it didn’t come with an egg and that they charge you £1.50 extra for a single egg. The kimchi was delicious, really gingery.

The best gyozas I ever had as they were deep fried and kept a crunchiness layer. The bibimbap was delicious too!

Having lived in Korea I can say that Little Asia is the best Korean restaurant in York. Bibimbap and Korean fried chicken is excellent.

I missed Korean food so much when I came to the UK, so it was great to come to York and eat such delicious Korean food :) The staff is so friendly and the atmosphere of the store is great! If you come to York and crave Korean food, be sure to stop by here!

It really tastes just like Korean food, the owner is friendly, and I had no idea a place like this existed. I highly recommend it to people who come all the way from other places and miss Korean food!

Super fantastic experience. Both the Rabokki and Kimchi Jigae were so so yummy. The kimchi is so good. Some of the best food we have had in the UK. Super sweet service and very homey vibes.

Little Asia restaurant tucked down a side street in York, plenty of competition on this street alone, yet little Asia is definitely the stand out, fabulous Korean food, definitely home cooked vibes, the food is fresh and vibrant… buddajagea (army stew) has a good taste, great ingredients… the fried chicken is hands down the star dish… sweet and spicy sauce…. Crispy coating on the chicken…. Fries…. Definitely worth the money…. Great service… amazing find…

Stopped by when we were in the area and had a craving for Korean food. Amazing, quiet and relaxed atmosphere, service was so attentive and quick and food was amazing, so delicious and exactly what we were after on a cold rainy day

The food is amazing. It’s literally same as what I had in Korea. If you’re not a vegetarian, I would highly recommend you to have beef bulgogi bibimbap with chilly sauce!!!! If I lived in York, I would go there every day ngl 😂 Besides, Korean owner of restaurant and Korean workers are really kind :) My friend had army stew(with many kinds of sausages, tofu and Korean noodle) and it was also really tasty. Next to the restaurant, there’s tiny place that sells Korean dessert and some other foods! You’ll definitely love their hotteok🫠🫠

My go-to place when I want to grab lunch or dinner with friends. The fried chicken is excellent but there are lots of other delicious things on the menu. The portions are generous to the point of being almost overwhelming. One of my favourite places to eat in York xx

When I walked into restaurant, I could see beautiful Korean traditional drawings and listen to K-Pop music, It is good place and atmosphere to have dinner with peers or family. I ordered Koran Honey Chicken, it was delicious especially with white sauce on the top was great. I am looking forward to have spicy one next time. Staff members are kind and I could try diverse flavor of soju! I could also pay by bank transfer

Authentic Korean Restaurant in the heart of york united kingdom.. The Food is served fresh in a timely manner, hygienic and most importantly very delicious.. the staff are amazing too very vocal and approachable!! If you have love for asian food especially South Korean cuisine then this is the place!!!

We had the pork dumplings, Korean fried chicken with both sauces, and the pancake with ice cream for dessert. All really delicious, the chicken in particular was so moorish, very crispy and tender. The service was very kind and attentive, overall a great evening and we will be going back again!

Beyond Wonderful Food and Service! If you’re in York you have to visit! The food is absolutely perfect- my mother has messaged me about the fried chicken almost every week since she ate here first months ago. Everything on the menu is delicious and great value but I’d particularly recommend the fried chicken and gimmari. The service is wonderful, everyone is attentive and kind. Our visit absolutely made my parents week and I couldn’t thank everyone enough!

As genuine as it comes. What a little delight we found in York. This place felt proper authentic and was run by one front of house member of staff who never missed a beat. The Army stew was super and the gyozas 10/10. If we're back in York in the future then we'll be back here.

Very busy restaurant! Bibimbap was good, served in a hot stone bowl. First Korean restaurant I've been to where kimchi is an additional cost and is only a very small portion.

It's delicious. Kimchi stew is the most delicious. Korean food is delicious, so I hope many people come and eat it haha! I ordered 5 pieces, but it was disappointing that the pork rice bowl came out a bit late (after everyone else had eaten).

we went to the restaurant for dinner, but the downstairs area was full, so we were seated upstairs. Initially, we were enjoying our meal, but halfway through, I found a long black hair in my stone pot. Throughout the meal, the service staff never came to check on us, and while it's not a huge problem to lack service, the presence of the hair in my food made me unable to finish my meal. When we settled the bill, I informed the server about the issue, but she just responded with an indifferent "oh." I instantly felt infuriated, as it seemed like they didn't consider good service an important aspect. At this point, whether the food was delicious or not became irrelevant. Unfortunately, I didn't take a photo before leaving, as I was unaware of the restaurant's dismissive attitude. Wishing you good luck.

Delicious, authentic, plentiful and interesting menu that was a delight from start to end. Make sure you book a table as the restaurant is small and very busy. The service is hardworking and explains the unusual (to us!) menu very well. This was such a treat. Don’t miss out on eating here.

Fantastic place with great food. When we went it was tiny and very busy. I think they are expanding to another floor but, until they do, get there early as you cannot book. Great dumplings and superb bibimbap.

This place was amazing it was like an old kitchen albeit a very busy kitchen. I have never been to Korea so I don't know how authentic it was but it was a marvelous experience and a unique taste sensation I would eat here every week if I lived in York
