We went to collect our order from Roccos the place is very clean and tidy the food is cooked fresh I had Quattro Stagioni pizza which is very tasty my husband enjoyed his Pollo Al Peppe will definitely recommend and we will order again.

Quite frankly the best Italian food I've ever eaten, the staff were lovely and the food was heavenly, I would happily drive the 2 hours to York just for their food. Update - 4 Years on, the place is still amazing, the staff are incredibly friendly, they made a big fuss of my my 1yo daughter. And of course the food is still as great as it always was. Hopefully it doesn't take me another 4 years to return.

Disappointing Experience – Michelin Recommended? Really? I had high expectations due to the Michelin recommendation, but this visit was a letdown from start to finish. The food was mediocre at best—dry fish (seriously, cod??), bland flavors, and everything felt carelessly thrown together. There was no passion or creativity on the plate. Overall, the entire experience lacked, quality, and attention to detail. I honestly don’t understand how this place earned a Michelin nod.

La primera vez que cenamos en The Legacy y disfrutamos mucho de la comida, la ubicación y el ambiente del restaurante. Hemos tenido la suerte de comer en bastantes restaurantes de estrellas Michelin y The Legacy no decepcionó. El menú degustador fue fantástico y siempre es encantador cuando uno de los chefs viene a su mesa para explicar el plato y todas las complejidades de crear los deliciosos platos para que otros disfruten. No hubo un plato que no disfrutaramos. También tuvimos el queso al final de la comida junto con un poco de panal de los restaurantes colmenas que estaba delicioso. Todo el personal del Restaurante era maravilloso, su conocimiento de los platos que se sirven hacen que toda la comida sea más agradable. Uno de los empleados del restaurante tenía un amor por el champán como nosotros y disfrutamos de una charla sobre nuestros favoritos. El Sommelier fue excelente ayudando a mi marido a elegir otro vino del desierto ya que el que quería no estaba disponible. En general, una noche maravillosa con buena comida y servicio. Lo recomiendo encarecidamente y si volvemos a York sin duda volveremos a The Legacy.

Went on recommendation. It was busy but we managed to get a table. Staff were friendly enough. Order was taken quickly. Prices were similar to those back home in Essex. Small Cod and chips were fine, equivalent to.a medium at my local. Some people were having ridiculous sized portions but I think that's why its so popular. Creme Brulee was nice and big but should have been slightly warm not cold.

Lovely meal at this establishment whilst on holiday in York. We were looked after well by Elle. Great food and service. Had the 2 course set menu. Excellent value for money. Large portions. Didn’t disappoint!

Beautiful little coffee shop! The staff are super friendly and pleasant and the food is lovely! I’ll definitely make this a more regular trip!

Visitado el Viernes Santo. Buen tipo sirviendo. Teníamos 2 pasteles de queso salados tamaño caramelo. Eran muy agradables, pero eran £ 5. 50 cada uno con la funda protectora para sacar. Muy caro incluso para York. Precios turísticos y no sobrevivirá por mucho tiempo

I agree with the other reviews that the food is excellent, however, I felt that the service we were given was a lot cooler than that given to those who are obviously regulars. This left us feeling quite uncomfortable and as though we were imposing upon them.

Después de ver este lugar que vendía tarta de queso al horno, vinimos de postre. Tenía muchas ganas de hacerlo y me decepcionó bastante. El cheesecake de vainilla de mi marido no tenía base (al parecer un cheesecake de San Sebastián) y mi cheesecake de chocolate tenía una base de tarta en lugar de galleta - muy decepcionante y caro : - (

Great atmosphere in central location. Food was fabulous and service was excellent. Would recommend rose cheesecake!

went in for a coffee with a friend, Meyra was so friendly, helpful, welcoming and made my experience so pleasant! such good coffee at excellent prices with a perfect range of menu! the inside is so cute too! definitely recommend and will be returning.
