Delicious food, lovely atmosphere, great service

Exceptional service and atmosphere, tucked away in a corner so when I came on a Wednesday it was practically empty. Staffs were so sweet and patient to answer my questions, even politely confirmed with me the optional service charge is ok to add. Chill background music. In general the mains were over seasoned for me, would prefer them tune down the salt and all the other sauces in the dishes. The mains were quite small portion for the price, so I’d say pricings are toward expensive side. The duck spring rolls were probably the best I’ve had, tender duck with a bit of crunchy cabbage mixed in, you can dip as little or as much as you like to tailor to your own taste. King prawn Pad Thai was smaller than I expected, nice seasoning but a bit too intense. They used thinner rice noodles. Tom Yum soup was way too salty for me, would not recommend. I had expected it to be creamy but it was instead salty and sharp.

Excellent customer service - really looked after us when we visited. The food is so fresh and delicious. The restaurant has a varied menu with lots of dishes I haven’t seen at other Thai restaurants. They also do a lunch special that’s great value.

Nice little quaint Thai restaurant. Lunchtime offer is great value for what you get. Had the kow soi (yellow curry noodles). Different to what I’ve had in Chiang Mai, nevertheless still tasty.

We don't live far and this restaurant is reason alone to come back again!

A great place to enjoy a range of food. Especially good for vegetarians. Always enjoyed coming here. I would recommend the Gang Massman as a hearty, slightly spicy main.

Overpriced. £9.50 for 2 small duck spring rolls (cut in half to look bigger). Main was way too salty. No pad see ew on menu which is strange for a "street food" place

We had a wonderful lunch here. The food was delicious. Our 11-year old has various allergies and the staff were very helpful finding dishes that were ok for him, double checking our choices with the chef.

Wonderful restaurant! Small sharing plates makes dining fun and good for first-time Thai eaters. Polite and friendly service, absolutely delicious food, would love to visit again when I next visit York!
