Absolutely INCREDIBLE food. Some of the best street-food i’ve ever had the chance of trying! Very reasonable pricing! Huge portion sizes, wasn’t difficult to share 1 meal between two people! Will definitely visit again next time i’m in York!

The best chicken satay I've had anywhere

We asked if they could make a portion of noodles for our little boy. He loved them. After trying them, we all said they were the tastiest noodles we'd ever had.

Absolutely great place, it has become a regular Saturday lunch for me and the family.

We have eaten here several times, my favourite dish is the Singapore Noodles, but everything I have had has been great.

Excellent laksa, the lady hustling at the front was super friendly and massive portion for £9 compared to other places in shambles overcharging!

Brilliant food, the noodles are spot on, all staff so friendly and helpful, go every week now when we go into the city centre

100% The best Thai place in york, prices are good foe the ammount and its made fresh and doesn't take that long. If I'm in the area I'll always get it and it's still warm if I'm taking it home to eat

Super highly recommend a visit if you are looking for street food around York market. The lady there, as we walked over, was super friendly, asking about our preferences and any dietary restrictions before pointing out some of the dishes she recommended. Very decent price for the quality of the food and the portion size! The crispy chilli chicken was just that, deliciously crispy while still moist on the inside, and the noodles & veg were fresh and just as delicious. Yakisoba was incredible as well. The order was ready very quickly, which was a bonus. Thanks for an all-around great meal to everyone at the noodle bar!

While we were walking around looking for a place to eat we were invited to try the food from the kiosk. I don't know exactly what we ate, I think rice and chicken, but we were fully satisfied. After all, you can't say you've been to York if you don't stop to enjoy the delicacies of Shambles Market. Advised! 😋

Great tasting food cooked to perfection

Amazing stall in Shambles Market. Veggies were not soft, chicken was tender, spices on spot. Finally a stall which makes the dishes on the spot instead of preparing big batches.

The Popcorn chicken is perfect especially with the sweet chilli sauce 10/10 Lovely front of house staff who take your orders as well me and my mate got a free drink from her this place is amazing and a must go to every time your in York it's definitely become a regular for me to eat here

We had lunch at na na noodles on a recent trip to york, the food was cooked to order and was delicious.

Finding Thai Seasons shut, went here, asked if they served Khao Man gai, but they don't do that so was offered another dish "Better than Khao man gai" Well, I'm afraid not, it was just a stir fried egg rice dice, loads of chicken and huge portion in their favour. If you are looking for a stir fried rice dish, then it's very good, but it didn't remind me of anything Thai. Wife ordered Pad Thai, and it's probably the worst Pad Thai I've ever had, threw half of it away, very bland and disappointing.

Although not advertised, they do great vegan alternatives for their dishes with some yummy, chewy tofu! Went there twice and wasn't disappointed either time:)

Me and my partner each ordered a dish of pad thai, it was definitely the best we have ever eaten. A most pleasant discovery. So for all visiting tourists I invite you to stop there, you will enjoy it!

People of Soul with kind hearts run this establishment. The food was delicious and generous in portion for a reasonable price. They are eco-conscious. The food is served in compostable bowl with wooden fork. Most importantly to me, they made me tasty food that was vegan AND gluten free. 😋

I was actually walking to one of the other food booths, but this smelt so good I couldn't resist! I had a Pad Thai which was amazing! The portion size was really good for the price too.

Giving a review whilst I'm sat eating it as it's that good! Huge, tasty portions, amazing value and some of the kindest vendors I've met. They clearly love what they do, even during a 27 C summer's day! 2 mains and 2 drinks for £20 - what more could you want? 🍜 Extra love for the recyclable packaging

Came back twice it was that good. Long queue for other places so tried here again. Food was quite sweet and spicy but very nice.

My absolute favourite place to eat in York. The portion size is perfect, the food is incredible, and I've never tried something new and regretted getting it. I come here as often as I can/is reasonable. It's affordable, friendly, and vegetarian friendly as well. Can not recommend this place enough! I have signed up to Trip Advisor just to write this place a good review- they deserve every 5 stars they get. Also, the wonderful woman who takes my order is so kind.

Fantastic street food, wonderful mix and flavours and great portion sizes. Our go to place for lunch. Top tip, lot's of street food set ups but take your time and watch where the market traders go for their lunch, you'll see them queuing up for NaNa's.

Quick and very tasty street food in the very busy Shambles food market. You are given a bleaper to notify you when your food is ready, so go for a wander round the rest of the market, but my food was ready so quickly I did not have time. Every dish (apart from one) can be made into a vegetarian option. There are plenty of large benches and tables near by, which are under a cover. It is very busy, so be prepared to share.

The NaNa Noodle bar staff were very friendly, the service was great and the food was delicious. I had Laksa and my friends had various other dishes. We were all delighted with our choices and highly recommend it.

Amazing atmosphere!! The food was amazing - only criticism is that the chicken was a bit tough but seasoning was on point. The woman was amazing for service and the chefs were amazing and so nice. Waiting time was a bit longer than anticipated but not too long - but it just shows how popular they are - highly recommend 🔥🔥 spent £10 and well worth it.

Friendly and accommodating staff!! I wanted something vegetarian and the lady said they can switch up any dish to accommodate! So I had tofu with sweet and sour sauce/pineapple and steamed rice! It was delicious!!! The other dishes were equally tasty!!

Update March 2023 - Another update but it's worth doing. As always the quality of food is excellent and the service is brilliant. If NaNa Noodles was my neighbour, I would be in real trouble! But oh! The pleasure would be worth it. I can't rate this place highly enough.

Was on a trip away to York and I stopped here. Greeted with smiles and I went for Singapore style noodles with chicken. Absolutely delicious, the chicken was so tender and flavours were unreal. Fair price and good portion size. Would definitely come here again if I had another trip planned
