The pad thai, and yellow veg curry was unreal! Really nice atmosphere in the food market too. Very good portion size. Will definitely become a regular.

It's a food van. A very very good Thai food van. Service is fast. Portion size is large. It would deffo be a five star if there was only a better place to sit. You'll have to fight for space on market benches around the corner. Tips. A) If you like spice, tell them "Thai Spicy please" when you order, and they'll see you right B) when they offer you the egg on top..go for it

Ordered the Thai Chicken Chow Mein, which was more like pho than Chinese noodles. Sweet and spicy, the chicken is a lot tender and ready to be cooked!

We had Tofu Pad Thai Noodles which was very tasty. The tofu was nicely fried and the noodles were not too dry. It also had many vegetables and the sauce was not too salty or sweet. Very tasty 😋

I got Nasi goleng fried rice with popcorn chicken. This is not Thai menu, but they way they do fried rice is Thai style and it is yummy. Usually I have less Thai food when traveling because I am Thai. Thai food in TH is much cheaper and better. Portion is big for 9 pounds.

The Shambles food court offers an array of a diverse range of gastronomic delights. Of such is this noodle bar . I ordered the Singaporean chicken noodles and it was absolutely delicious with flavors bursting with every bite!

What can I say came across this little diamond of a place while walking around York Market, absolutely beautiful food and very friendly service simply the best food I have eaten in a long time, I paid £9 for a massive bowl of popcorn chicken with Noodles with sweet chilli sauce, definitely recommended this to anyone fantastic value for money 😋

Will definitely come back on my next visit to York- beautiful Pad Thai! If you want extra heat just ask, don’t get the negative reviews this place is serving top Thai nosh!

Amazing little shack, that’s run like a finely tuned machine with such efficiency and quality! We had a popcorn chicken, rice bowl as we wanted something we could eat later on after exploring the city a bit more! It had amazing flavour and crunch to it! We had the satay sauce with it which was absolutely delicious too! You order your food and get a little hand held device that vibrates when your order is ready! Even when it was busy like on the day we visited the way the kitchen is run means you’re never waiting too long!

This place is beyond amazing!! I go there almost every week and I've been trying different dishes and love every single one! My favorite dishes reviewed Pad Thai - very yummy, but a bit sweet. It's got some good crunch and the chicken is always delicious and portion is great Chicken fried rice - a classic, can't go wrong! It is a bit lighter in flavor which is great for a hot summer day or a less filling feeling. They always add delicious veggies! Spicy Thai rice - super umami and perfect spice level (very mild). It has some yummy veggies in there too! Yellow curry chicken - Nice and cozy meal for a rainy York day! They are generous with the sauce which turns it almost like a stew but it is very filling and comforting

Lovely servers, really polite even the chefs were friendly. Food was incredible and the portions were huge for the reasonable price. A must try!

We went to 5 Silver St., very hungry, and there was a closed green door with no indication that it was a restaurant. Places to the left and right of it we’re open. It was a Saturday evening and within the hours that they say they’re open. It was confusing, and frustrating.

Chicken taste is Great!, noodles and white rice taste is average. Portion is great!

Found this place whilst walking around the Shambles and Shambles market place My only criticism is the lady taking orders trying to draw in business whilst you are trying to look at the menu. But once you’ve decided on your food, it’s all freshly cooked and delicious. Would recommend as somewhere for lunch.

Absolutely INCREDIBLE food. Some of the best street-food i’ve ever had the chance of trying! Very reasonable pricing! Huge portion sizes, wasn’t difficult to share 1 meal between two people! Will definitely visit again next time i’m in York!

So good!! Went here today for the first time. Will definitely be going back. Had to wait a little for food but completely understandable when it was so busy, and it’s good to know the food is cooked fresh. Was given a little beeper, so took a seat and waited. Nice little seating area outside in the market, which is covered. Probably not a great place to go in the colder weather but was fine today. Really good food. I had the Singapore chicken, it was amazing! Big portions, I struggled to finish but couldn’t waste any. Tasted really good, had a little kick to it, but not much. Will definitely be going back.

We asked if they could make a portion of noodles for our little boy. He loved them. After trying them, we all said they were the tastiest noodles we'd ever had.

Excellent laksa, the lady hustling at the front was super friendly and massive portion for £9 compared to other places in shambles overcharging!

Super highly recommend a visit if you are looking for street food around York market. The lady there, as we walked over, was super friendly, asking about our preferences and any dietary restrictions before pointing out some of the dishes she recommended. Very decent price for the quality of the food and the portion size! The crispy chilli chicken was just that, deliciously crispy while still moist on the inside, and the noodles & veg were fresh and just as delicious. Yakisoba was incredible as well. The order was ready very quickly, which was a bonus. Thanks for an all-around great meal to everyone at the noodle bar!

While we were walking around looking for a place to eat we were invited to try the food from the kiosk. I don't know exactly what we ate, I think rice and chicken, but we were fully satisfied. After all, you can't say you've been to York if you don't stop to enjoy the delicacies of Shambles Market. Advised! 😋

Great tasting food cooked to perfection

Amazing stall in Shambles Market. Veggies were not soft, chicken was tender, spices on spot. Finally a stall which makes the dishes on the spot instead of preparing big batches.

We had lunch at na na noodles on a recent trip to york, the food was cooked to order and was delicious.

They quickly whipped up the popcorn chicken with peanut sauce and it was delicious.

If you are looking for a generic stir fried rice dish, then it's very good, but it didn't remind me of anything Thai. Wife ordered Pad Thai, and it's probably the worst Pad Thai I've ever had, threw half of it away, very bland and disappointing.

Although not advertised, they do great vegan alternatives for their dishes with some yummy, chewy tofu! Went there twice and wasn't disappointed either time:)

Me and my partner each ordered a dish of pad thai, it was definitely the best we have ever eaten. A most pleasant discovery. So for all visiting tourists I invite you to stop there, you will enjoy it!

People of Soul with kind hearts run this establishment. The food was delicious and generous in portion for a reasonable price. They are eco-conscious. The food is served in compostable bowl with wooden fork. Most importantly to me, they made me tasty food that was vegan AND gluten free. 😋
