Después de ver este lugar que vendía tarta de queso al horno, vinimos de postre. Tenía muchas ganas de hacerlo y me decepcionó bastante. El cheesecake de vainilla de mi marido no tenía base (al parecer un cheesecake de San Sebastián) y mi cheesecake de chocolate tenía una base de tarta en lugar de galleta - muy decepcionante y caro : - (

Mi amigo y yo vinimos aquí, donde un pastel de canela llamó mi atención y sirvió como un desayuno dulce. Aly’s parece especializarse en tartas de queso, pero nos dirigíamos al centro de la ciudad, así que no era el momento para comprar una rodaja.

Pasé camino al aparcamiento. ¿Qué puedo decir? £ 5 por una rebanada de tarta de queso de chocolate para compartir entre nosotros dos... dinero bien gastado. Deliciosa.

Disappointing cheesecake, they just bake plain ones and add different toppings, I had the Lotus one and its just soggy biscuit crumbs on top, total waste of money, also small size for the money as it was only a takeaway, as there is nowhere to sit down. I remember the baked cheesecakes from the 1980's and they were yummy and had fillings, this is just ok. I should have realized when I looked in the window and they have row upon row of plain baked cheesecakes. Avoid as there are much better places.

Knowing nothing about thr place, I called in for a take-out lunch today. What a great idea it turned out to be. The shop is beautiful inside. Plus, it’s chock full of goodies if a quality you just never see inYork. I was greeted by an immaculately dressed and very eell mannered young guy who got ne fixed up with a nice real cappuccino and an enormous spinach and cheese flaky pastry roll ( I forget the name!) - all for £6.50. It was delicious. I’ll be back, and soon!

Absolutely fantastic baked cheesecakes. The pastries and cookies are wonderful. The cinnamon cookies with a coffee are to die for. All made by Aly.
