The best restaurants in Guildhall York Yorkshire and The Humber

Nothing special at all. Pork belly starter dry and tough. Sirloin steak really poor quality. Tough to cut even on medium cook. Wife's sirloin was incredibly grisly. A very very average meal for an expensive price. Service and staff were good, but the food so poor for the money that we won't be going there again. Much better places in York to spend £90 per head.

Nice setting, food wasn’t too bad. The Sugo for the pescatora wasn’t the greatest imo. Service was good, maybe a bit intense when asking questions but could just be new staff. House beer tasted okay would have preferred a Moretti to be honest. Could give some suggestions on a few things but I wouldn’t post them on here.

Visited as a group of 8 adults. Pre ordered the set menu. Just amazing, but far too many dishes. Very good value for money.

Great place to eat, we had the Sunday Roast and it was perfect…really!!! Cutest waitress ever! Highly recommended!

Good coffee! Really, only about the third time I've written that about a UK cafe. We had a couple of cakes too, and these were also above average. To all of other black dishwater servers (that claim to be cafes! ) take note. It can be done.

The best stone baked pizzas ever! Fantastic atmosphere and this place is home to the brilliant Y Street Band on the last Friday of the month. Definitely worth a visit to see these talented musicians and for the overall great experience!

Did takeout of Haddock and Chips while in York on a Friday night.. I cannot speak to the atmosphere but in my opinion, the fish was not very good and the portions small for what I am familiar with. There were lots of chips but not much fish.

its a really nice hotel i love the rooms theyre my favorite theres an outlet beside the bed on each side and there is a free bag of chips and biscuits everything is good though i did not have the breakfast

Very tasty Indian restaurant. All the dishes and sides were great and the prices were reasonable.

Great food, was a bit sceptical as the recent reviews about the Mac and cheese were not great. But was pleasantly surprised with the whole meal. Everything was cooked perfectly, and the Mac and cheese was very good. Would highly recommend.

The drinks from the bar are good! Plenty of seating. Dog friendly! Sat at a table at Brew York and used the QR code on the table to order from YUZU. They bring it right to your table. The bao was pretty good. Lots of meat! But way overpriced for one bao. The ramen was….bad. Like truly awful. As one reviewer said, they skimp on the broth. I didn’t mind as it tasted terrible and I wanted no more of it. I think they used spaghetti noodles as well. If this is considered good ramen in the UK then I am terrified to try bad ramen. You’d be better off getting Ichiran kits straight from Japan in the post. It would be cheaper and way better testing.
