Brilliant curry and service, seemed to have really improved the food in last few years, one of the best reasonably priced curries in York now

SO GOOD! Great price. Really nice little selection of pastries, traditional cornish is fantastic for only around 6 quid. Coffee is nice but 3.50 so no discounts over surroundings, wish there was a deal with pasty and coffee. But compared to how expensive most places in york have become refreshing to find something like this in centre, well staffed and nice staff all round. Sit in or take out but no toilets so be warned if thats issue. Not many seats but nice little tables. No big group tables though.

Mi marido y yo visitamos bastante a menudo. Así que pensé en traer a mis nietos de visita de Australia. Damos 2 comidas para niños. No hay palo de verduras disponible. No ensalada. Para los niños. Había literalmente 5 fichas y 4 cabos de chatarra en mi placa de nietos absolutamente impactante. Ellos y yo NO nos quedamos impresionados e hicimos sentir mi sensación a la camarera. Mmm no feliz.

Just back, visited earlier this afternoon for special on refreshing cocktails, £11 for 2 Aperol Sprizt on this sunny afternoon. Secret roof top terrace upstairs. Lovely ambience, great music that was chill. Decided to come back later for food. It did not disappoint, the staff were incredible, friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend..

It is a wonderful place to stay in York. Fantastic location, rooms incredibly comfortable, spotlessly clean, and well kept. Staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. 10/10

Really great Fish and Chips cooked fresh - best in the local area - busy most times I have been so it might be a good idea to book in advance if you can but I never get round to it.

Nice environment and friendly staff. The sour and spicy soup was flavorful, the BBQ pork in the soup was not very fresh. The stir fried pork with peppers were tasty, the pork was a little too chewy. The fried beef rice noodles were good，the beef was tender, some of the noodles were not soaked well, slightly tough. Both the stir fried pork with peppers and the fried beef rice noodles were slightly oily.

After waiting 20 minutes for drinks we left.

Bland, greasy and in my opinion overpriced pizza. Ordered medium pepperoni + Jalapenos and they rounded up total when adding 1 extra topping (£11.50 + £1.20 does not equal £13). Only realised when I got home so to late now to resolve. Service was quick though. Just another standard local takeaway.

My favourite Chinese takeaway. Consistently good. Staff always quick. Menu easy as you choose your dish and your protein. E.g Beef and tomato and then add choice of prawn, chicken, beef, etc. And then choose boiled or fried rice, chips, noodles. Note: only takes cash. I always call ahead orders as sometimes there can be a wait.

Ordered a takeaway, Takeaway arrived but totally wrong order everything was wrong then phoned up and all they could do was laugh on the phone, This was now the second time they had got our orders wrong very very poor customer service, would not recommend stay clear.
