The best restaurants in Kirkbymoorside Ryedale Yorkshire and The Humber

We live locally and have been here a few times, the food is always delicious every time and great service. Cannot recommend it enough for a meal in Kirkbymoorside.

Must be one of the best fish and chip shops I’ve frequented in my 63 years. No grease, very tasty, nice decor and very clean. No negatives whatsoever. Just superb.

A lovely friendly bakery, just one wee table to sit and and have a coffee and observe the comings and goings of the regulars, the holiday makers and day trippers. Bread and cakes wonderful, a lovely lady owns this place and I wish her well!

Lovely relaxed atmosphere , beautiful surroundings, relaxing music makes for a chill down place ,love it! Lovely staff , gorgeous food ,so well presented. Really enjoyed myself . Would visit again .

I have given this place plenty of chances over the years with it only managing to be average at best! But this time it’s gone and topped this with what can only be described as disgusting!!! How they dared to give this to a customer amazed me and has just confirmed everything I already knew about this place. Staff that don’t care and have little to non experience in food preparation….award winning? What a joke

I had a pre Christmas meal all courses were well cooked and presented, and the service was good as well.

Christ what a dump. Dingy. Nice if you’re into sky sports. Thought we would try an alternative to the George and dragon and tempted by the beer garden (very nice and with great potential in summer) so tried a pint of bitter. Now I see why everyone was drinking lager. In Yorkshire ffs! One swallow to see how nice it was. Another to see it was really as bad as the first. No 3rd swig. Vinegar. Clueless cellar management. Taste what you’re serving. Wouldn’t put it on chips. The rest went down a convenient geranium pot. Hope it survives. Vile. Not into confrontation so just left and went to the George and dragon for a delicious pint or 2 of theakston’s best. Avoiding the black swan where someone with TB was coughing his guts up in the smoking area. Avoid both would be my shout.

Held our works festive meal here back in December, food and service was amazing as always. Everyone had a great time and all commented on how lovely the food was, we could eat that brie everyday! Thanks so much, we'll be back soon!

The food was nice but served on cold plates about 35 minutes after ordering. By the time we'd eaten it it was stone cold. We also had to wait for cutlery as it wasn't put out when we were served with our coffee which of course was cold by the time the food came.

The best Sunday lunch restaurant I’ve visited. The staff make the overall experience first class and the food is sublime. Quality aged beef with a huge Yorkshire pudding, immaculately cooked veg and a baked cauliflower cheese, finished with a delightful crème brûlée made for the perfect meal. A large selection of non alcoholic drinks was a nice surprise. For the non drivers a very fine selection of wines (paired), beers and some very special spirits. Add some roaring open fires and there you have it, perfection.

Food lovely as always, service spot on by Adam,highly recommend. 😋 had tandoori wrap and mixed special wrap with chilli and garlic sauce Mmmm
