Lovely relaxed atmosphere , beautiful surroundings, relaxing music makes for a chill down place ,love it! Lovely staff , gorgeous food ,so well presented. Really enjoyed myself . Would visit again .

A lovely friendly bakery, just one wee table to sit and and have a coffee and observe the comings and goings of the regulars, the holiday makers and day trippers. Bread and cakes wonderful, a lovely lady owns this place and I wish her well!

Recommended for good food and excellent portions never had a bad meal in all the years we've been going

I have given this place plenty of chances over the years with it only managing to be average at best! But this time it’s gone and topped this with what can only be described as disgusting!!! How they dared to give this to a customer amazed me and has just confirmed everything I already knew about this place. Staff that don’t care and have little to non experience in food preparation….award winning? What a joke

Very nice pub. Recently refurbished. Very nicely decorated. Friendly staff who were happy to chat and provided complimentary nuts/crisps. Theakstons was well kept and tasted delicious. Lovely courtyard beer garden at the back. Nice sun trap. Overall a lovely couple of hours well spent.

The food we had was truly awful. We had the 2 steak deal. The sirloin was the worst we've ever had. Cooked correctly but really chewy and tough. The salmon dish looked like it had been reheated, it was dry and stringy. We ordered dessert. The 2 crumbles we had were again awful. The fruit looked like it was from a tin and barely warm. The crumble was out of a packet, the waitress even confirmed this. It was raw, unheated, and hadn't seen an oven. To compound this, they had run a blow torch over the top of it so it looked like it was crispy. Unfortunately this burnt the crumble and that's all we could taste, burnt crumble. Avoid this place.
