Called in for a drink & some cake. Both were excellent & the hot chocolate, was the best we have ever tasted. Would thoroughly recommend & will happily return next time we are in the area.

Lovely friendly cafe…great coffee. Lovely homemade scones and cakes. Varied menu and daily specials available. The best place for coffee in Kirkbymoorside.

I visited with a group of biker friends on a ride out. We were able to park our bikes nearby and received a warm welcome. There is a comprehensive menu from which I selected the Onion soup which arrived piping hot with white and brown crusty bread and pats of butter. Of my colleagues, one chose a bacon butty, one a soup and the third a sweet course (!). All commented on the delicious food and drinks. The tea was a particular delight, served with leaf tea in a cathitier with a filter lid to prevent the leaves from escaping! All in all a delightful light lunch in pleasant surroundings with polite and efficient staff.

Beautiful room, great coffee, tasty breakfast and attentive service at a reasonable price. I recommend the local apple juice but I don’t recommend paying too much attention to the opening hours on T/A as they are wrong as at November 2022

We last dropped by in October 2020 and were impressed. Have just enjoyed two visits this week & found the high standards had been maintained. Good quality at sensible prices - & friendly service.

This is great cafe to stop off in during a visit to Kirkbymoorside. Superb coffees and super friendly service. We didn’t eat any of the cakes but they all looked delicious. Highly recommended.

We popped in to warm up after a very cold and windy cycle ride around Ryedale. We were planning to just have a drink but we could not resist the cakes calling to us from the counter. What a good decision as the two we chose were excellent. They seem to have a selection of vegan and GF cakes which is good to see. Very interesting flavours! We had a good discussion about cakes with the owner? The tea and coffee were really good to. What is not to like?

The cafe is slightly off the main street down West End . Small downstairs room with tables but has an extensive upstairs area. Great menu with nearly all ingredients from local suppliers and of excellent quality. Coffee is first rate with a nice touch of freshly baked madeleines on the side. The place is spotless particularly the toilets with great care for virus protection. Staff are friendly, attentive and flexible with menu options. They offer a take away service for a picnic and the paper take away coffee/tea cups are very clever without a plastic lid. Very green. A most enjoyable experience.

My wife and I ate lunch here in August 2021, while on a Yorkshire break. We only had soup and pate with rolls, plus cups of tea, but everything was good. Service was a bit slow to start with, but then picked up.

We had not been in Kirkbymoorside for almost 2 years, but we will not be leaving it so long again, now we have found this excellent cafe. The coffee was one of the best I have tasted in months (double shot is standard), and although they were sold out of my favourite mid-morning treat, (fruit scone), the alternative suggested of toasted fruit loaf was just fine. My wife had cheese scone and was very happy with it. The cafe was very clean and tidy, and the owner was being very diligent with the hygiene elements, as each table was cleaned thoroughly after customers left.

Had cooked breakfast this morning, very nice indeed. Wife had vegetarian sausage and egg sandwich which was lovely too. Coffee is good and they have different plant based milks for those who can't have dairy. Good range of vegan, gluten free and dairy free products as well. Definitely will return.

Popped in for take away during lockdown. Didn't really know what to expect as it's unusually low-key online, but had seen enough to think they may serve up a half decent coffee. Wasn't disappointed. Friendly service too and it's nicely decorated and furnished inside -...

A small but well run café just off the High Street. Not easy to spot but well worth the effort. Sensible Covid precautions in place - and a clean lavatory. Friendly welcome, pleasant service and a good range of what appeared to be high quality...

Decent choice of food available however we ordered pie mash Mushy peas and gravy. Only had 1 pie (so got a pasty as there was 2 of us) Mash was made from a jacket potato it was very lumpy tinned peas over blasted in the microwave served with a smile however forgot the gravy and it arrived half way through us eating the meal. Sadly this place could be a little gold mine if run correctly and proper attention to detail applied with the food. We hafmd our lunch at 12.15 so there was no way they could have ran out of mash? Could do better really

Booked the brewery tour package from Red Letter days. The tour was very informative with Josh being a fountain of knowledge and obviously loving brewing and beer. His witty remarks and low key humour really made the tour enjoyable. The beer tasting in the bar was flexible and offered a pint taken eith as a pint, two halves or a flight of 3, third pints to enable a range to be tried! Although a small brewery they have some quite advanced mechanisation for bottling, canning and casking! Very impressed,

A lovely friendly bakery, just one wee table to sit and and have a coffee and observe the comings and goings of the regulars, the holiday makers and day trippers. Bread and cakes wonderful, a lovely lady owns this place and I wish her well!

Really friendly and tasty fare. Plenty of choice which was a real representation of good Yorkshire fare. Reasonably priced too
