We stopped by The Town Hall Pub & Dining in Richmond for lunch and had a great meal. The burger was delicious and very filling—definitely a good choice if you're hungry! The pub itself was quiet inside, making it a nice spot for a relaxed meal. The staff were friendly and welcoming, adding to the pleasant atmosphere. Overall, a good place for a tasty lunch in a calm setting.

A mid week lunch visit saw us choosing the sandwich and cup of soup options. Superb choice of fillings; the goats cheese was scrumptious. We were served by Richard who was welcoming, friendly and very efficient. We have been served by him previously at the sister pub, the Punchbowl and he always is first class. A credit to both pubs.

This is comfortable hotel, extremely well run by the owner who is present for most of the time serving the guests. If he isn’t there his long term staff are, and they too are excellent. It is very conveniently located on a beautiful quiet street. It has private parking at the rear or on street parking at the front, although this can be full. Breakfasts are freshly prepared and tasty. There is a lounge and a well stocked bar. We were delighted by our stay and recommend it.

Visited here for the first time in a number of years. What a disappointment. On entering what used to be little farmshop you are now faced with empty shelves, a pitiful selection of gifts and half full crates of vegetables. There is a sign asking you to wait to be seated. We were by a disinterested member of staff onto a table where the seats were ripped then handed a crumpled, stained paper menu that didn't look the most inspiring. No scones available just 3 types of overpriced cake. Cost of 2 coffees and 2 slices cake - £17 😬 Definitely won't visit again when thereares far friendlier, tastier and more atmospheric options only a few miles away.

We were very lucky to book a table for 7 of us on a Saturday night at short notice! The hostess was so lovely and so accommodating as we had a 2 year old dining with us. 4 of us had steaks which we all requested to be cooked differently and each one was absolutely perfect. So so tasty and thick. Some of the party had pork and they said it was incredible! So beautifully presented and even the 2 year old finished every bit! We had space for desert and were not disappointed! My dad had the sticky toffee pudding and he said he was the best he had ever ever had!! A really lovely atmosphere. The wine we had was delicious! We were so very well looked after and the team called us by our names which I thought was an amazing detail. Would absolutely recommend! Do not miss it! Will come again. Thank you team!

Lovely overnight stay at the Kearton. Adam and Caz are the new owners and made us both feel very welcome. Comfy bed and bedroom with all the amenities you need, along with the peace and quiet of Thwaite meant we slept like babies! Woke refreshed and ready for our fabulous English breakfast. We will definitely be back and are sure Adam and Caz will make The Kearton a huge success!

Gone is the charming old cafe in the front room with pleasant service and a selection of sandwiches, scones and cakes. Replaced by a bland conversion of an outbuilding which I can only describe as having the atmosphere of railway station cafe. It was not busy but we queued for 30 minutes as the lady taking the orders seemed to have no handle on the situation, asked everyone at least 3 times what they wanted and took 20 minutes to serve 3 customers in front of us who just wanted drinks. Selection of sandwiches unchanged but only white bread available. No selection of cakes, only choice of scones (not available) or a brownie (not available) or a blondie. None of the tables inside had been cleared. The coffee was terrible and tasted as if it had been diluted. As for the shop - little in it seemed to be of relevance to the hall. Need I say more. We won't renewing our membership of the hall

Quick chips and Donnor meat with curry sauce. Chips where hard the donnor meat was foul, worst I’ve ever tasted! Sauce was lumpy and thin. I will never be back
