Best Indian food in the area. Lovely poppadoms that are crispy and fresh. Naan breads are soft inside but have crispy leoparding on the top. Rice is always great not dry or oily. Main meals have the best spices and flavour. Vegetable korma is the bomb 👍 When it comes to hot curries some places skimp on spices but not this place they are HOT 🔥🔥🔥. Staff are friendly with prices very good

Awful. Used before and commented on the extra hot vinadloo requested, was close to a medium curry. Tried again - having sworn not to - and the vindaloo had no potatoes, tiny pieces of chicken (size of a 1p). My garlic naan was a plain naan. Really terrible curry, one of the worst I have ever eaten. Not returning here.

Asha Tandoori food was absolutely excellent food. The best India meal I have ever tasted. The staff are absolutely brilliant very friendly.

Visited asha for the first time this evening, was greeted with a smile and seated very quickly, friendly staff took a drinks order and a food order promptly, I had a lamb passanda and the lamb literally melted in your mouth, by far the best lamb passanda I’ve ever had, will definitely return the gent serving even held the door for us thank you for the most enjoyable evening.

It’s all about the food and great service at Asha. No fancy decor just really fresh cooked to order food. The staff were so helpful and kind and reassuring to one of our party who had allergies. Nothing was to Much trouble .

We love visiting and eating here as the service is great. The staff are always pleased to welcome use and look after our needs nothing is a problem. Our food is always a good standard and good value even though the prices have increased recently. Keep up the good work. 👍 Excellent

If you live in or around the area or are just passing through, there's no better place to go for a curry than the Asha. Fantastic food and great hospitality. I've been visiting the place for 29 years, and I hope to visit for 29 more years (and then some).

Me and my wife went on 21st July,,the staff are very friendly and go out of there way to make your stay run smoothly..we had a bottle of wine between us which was lovely,,4 course meal which was amazing to be honest to much food lol but we shall definitely go again its probably the best I've been to for a lovely fresh cooked food ..thank you for a brilliant time..Mr & Mrs Carson.

Tried here for a change. Service was good. Starter arrived at almost the same time as the popadoms meaning I had food double parked all over the table. Onion bhaji could have done with a little longer in the fryer as they were still very doughy in the middle. Rice was very greasy and the madras has a bit too much sloppy sauce and only a little amount of chicken. The chicken however was very tender. Whilst it wasn’t the best curry I’ve had it definitely wasn’t the worst

The staff really friendly eat as a lone dinner. The food was very tasty and great value for money. I would highly recommend trying if staying in the area.

Called in when our daughter was swimming. Outside, a lot of the businesses have shut so doesn’t seem that appealing but inside was fantastic. Staff where polite and on the ball. Food was truly excellent and well priced. Will 100% go back and would recommend for sure.

use to be are favourite indians now i would not recommend to anyone most recent one was awful, poppadoms tasted old and not fresh, keema naan came without the keema and my cheese naan was plain stone cold and burnt, my butter chicken curry was actually a korma sauce with tandoori chicken pieces stirred into it was awful. my partners veg curry came completely different to normal and tasted like a packet curry sauce with frozen peas. the food has gone down hill maybe they have a different chef will not be returning!

This place is such a hidden gem. the service is always outstanding and food amazing. They really look after you and can deal with any request /changes to the menu. staff very friendly and welcoming . Great night always had here.

Had a family meal there and the staff were so attentive. Made us feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble, food was piping hot and loads of meat in the curry’s. Will be back again soon

My wife and I ordered takeaway food from Asha. On getting the food home the order was wrong and cold. My wife telephoned to complain and the service received was less than favourable. However, after my wife insisted that the order was put right, she had to make a further journey wasting already expensive petrol of a round trip of 4 miles. This establishment used to be good, but appears to be under new management, who do not give two hoots about customer service or the quality of food. I will not be frequenting Asha again !! Avoid and go elsewhere for a better service and food !!

Used to go here regularly to eat in, but more recently we've experienced problems even on quiet nights (which we favour). Cases of long waits for food - it seeming that takeaway orders are given priority and in some instances food actually arriving lukewarm; something that never happened in the past. Some of the staff have also changed, so we don't know if this has anything to do with it. Anyway, not sure if we'll risk it again. Too many disappointments. What a shame.

Today we collected an order and when we got home discovered that one of the items was incorrect. On ringing, the mistake had been made by the person taking the order in the restaurant. Another family member was nearby so picked up the missing item...

First time back here since lockdown and it's great to see that absolutely nothing has changed. Great food and great service. Thank you.

If you like indian food then this is the place for you. The service is friendly the food is consitantly good If you ever get the chance to use the restaurant the atmosphere is brilliant .

I went to the restaurant in May 2019 and the food was divine. We ordered a take away on Sunday and it was very disappointing indeed. The mixed grill was terrible, the bombay potatoes were mostly sauce with 3 potatoes & didn't taste that great....

Extremely disappointed tonight. Purchased a takeaway meal for myself and my husband as we were celebrating. Husband ordered a king prawn vindaloo. Once we were home and he opened it he was very unimpressed. His King Prawn dish which cost a small fortune did not...

Four of us went for a meal on Christmas Eve 2018, we chose The Asha as it is quite close and we had not been disappointed before there.

Really enjoyed the food we got. The guy who served us was helpfull and accommodating. We visit Asha as often as we can. Food has never disappointed.

I walked in here with a friend and thought it looked... ok. The food was perfect. I had Garlic Chilli Chicken. My friend loved his Chicken Tikka Balti Massala. Nothing more to say, it was just right. We'll be back. 5*****

I visited on 3rd November with my daughter and her family . the restaurant is well worn and needs a refurbish , everything looks dingy , dark and dirty .

I have written a review previously and have had several takeaways since all of which have been top quality. Tonight’s however was sublime. Chicken Tikka Korai with Bindi Bahji and chilli nan. Loved every mouthful and you could absolutely tell it was fresh with a nice bite or crunch to the vegetables.

I have been eating here for 20 years, never had a bad experience or a bad meal. All the waiters are friendly and the food is great. Ideal for works functions or just meals out with the family.

This is a nice Indian restaurant which is quite small, has a welcoming ambiance and very nice staff. The menu, pricing and food is all good.

Service and food was good. On a first visit I tried the fish pakora for start - this was a bit soggy and not enough fish, it came with salad and no sauce - luckily we had paid for poppadums and pickles so had some sauce to accompany this. Next was Lamb passanda - this was quite bland and very coconutty not quite what we expected. Would try this place again as the service and cleanliness was very good but would not choose these options again.

we've had food from here before and it’s been ok but I had a chicken korma tonight and there was 7 pieces of the toughest chicken I’ve ever attempted to eat - the sauce was watery and tasteless - needless to say it went straight in the bin and we will NOT be ordering again.

The restaurant was friendly the service was good and the meal arrived quickly after we ordered it but the food let it down .The lime pickle was in a thin watery sauce, the tarka dall tasted burnt and my husbands chicken madras was lacking in flavour also in a thin sauce,so we felt a bit disappointed.

Very much enjoy going here. Been afew times and it's lovely curry. Been to afew others but this one's my favourite

I have lived in this area for over 20 years. I have tried every Indian restaurant in a 15 mile radius. None of them compare to Asha. The food here is flavoursome and filling and you will find it hard to meet friendlier staff. Highly recommended.

Generally, one Indian is pretty much the same as another. The Asha in Catterick fits the same mould. It's clean and the staff friendly. The menu has the usual standard Indian dishes we all love. It also has a few more unusual dishes......regional Indian specialities. If you're in the Catterick area it's worth a visit. It is generally good value for money. Try the speciality dishes for something different.

You won't find a better Indian meal anywhere eat in or takeaway and in the last 45 years I tried them all over

Had an amazing pre-Christmas meal here with family. The mixed kebabs were to die for. The staff were also a pleasure and were really good with my daughter. Definitely see you again in the new year.

My husband fancied a curry on the sunday night we were staying at the Catterick Garrison Premier Inn so I checked on Tripadvisor to see if there were any in the area to find Asha virtually on the doorstep and with really good reviews so we decided to give it a try.

After visiting here numerous times I felt now was the time to finally leave a review. This place is a wonderful little establishment with nice pleasant surroundings and nice and calm music. Food is lovely and always cooked well. The staff are by far the politest bunch of guys you will ever meet in your life there a tremendous bunch and always smiling and bringing positivity to the evening. Will always continue visiting here and highly recommend it. Only thing I would like Is a better selection of lager on draught as only one. Much love though keep up the good work ✌️

Old fashioned surroundings should not put you off! Amazing food, fab service and reasonably priced. We will go back!

I was pleased to find a new local curry house since moving up north! Food and service was great. About the same prices as down south, but happy to pay for a good meal. Even the wine was good.

Popped in here for an Indian meal as I was here on business staying at the Premier Inn, this place is a real gem, it takes me right back 30 years it's so retro and the food etc is excellent, my meal, drink, service and price were all bang on. If I'm ever round that area again I will definitely be visiting again. Excellent guys don't update/ modenise this place it's fantastic as it is.

A colleague and I were staying at the nearby premier inn and fancied some quality food. The Trip Advisor app recommended this as a nearby restaurant and we were not disappointed. Although reasonably busy, service was quick, staff were polite and the food was fresh and very tasty.On the whole, a great experience at a reasonable price.

Attended with family and friends of which one a vegetarian another a pescatarianian, neither were disappointed as the food was of good quality and the staff friendly and helpful. Would recommend the Bangladesh prawn curry,on the special chef menu.

Restaurant was clean and tidy but empty, should have been a warnign sign, We ordered a standard meat Thali, what was served was totally different, Three very tiny portions, overly spicy, heat substituted taste. This was not an enjoyable meal at all. Would not go again, reccommend people avoid this place.

I visited this restaurant for the first time last Friday evening.The staff were very pleasant, polite and well presented. The starters arrived quickly and were a very tasty.The main courses were great, good size portions and very flavoursome! With the best naan bread I’ve tasted in years!!!I did have a little chuckle at the retro Indian music playing and the decor that left me feeling i had stepped in to a time machine and landed on the set of "east is east".However, i left the restaurant feeling extremely well fed and with a big smile on my face..!!!i would definitely visit again but please, please, please, lose the paper napkins and replace them with quality linen ones...

I have been a customer here for almost 20 years and usually the food and staff are very good, however after ordering a takeaway last night I got home to find that part of my order was missing. I rang up to let them know about it and they basically lied saying they had realised just as I was leaving and that kitchen staff came running out with the missing food but couldn't catch me in time,which I find hard to believe as my car was a good minute walk from the front door. All they could do was say 'we will sort it next time'. Not good enough I'm afraid. I paid £14 for a chicken tikka with a portion of rice. I had a similar experience with an Indian takeaway in Richmond and they sent a member of staff to my house in a taxi with the full order again and a full refund. That's the level of service you should expect when you pay a lot of money for food. Mistakes happen but I will never go back here again purely based on the lax attitude of the person on the end of the phone. Sorry asha but you have lost a life long customer here :(

This restaurant would benefit from going to visit some more modern indian restaurants in a city because the food is great but it is let down by a basic menu with limited description of the food which does not get the juices flowing and very dated interior with 1970's indian music. Cummon guys you can do better than that to match the quality of the food - a bit of investment in the business is needed! (PS the chilli nan was to die for - nice and flat with crispy edges and not stodgy like other indian restaurants :-) )

I've visited Asha many times and the standard of food and service has always been exceptional. All the dishes tried so far have been above tasty, causing me to indulge more than I should. Keep it up.

Been to Asha a close times now and everytime has been excellent. The range of choices on the menu is good and the quality of food is even better. The decor and ambience is fitting of an Indian Restaurant and the staff are very friendly and on point with their customer service.

Always a good curry right in the heart of Catterick Garrison and only a couple of minutes walk away from the Premier Inn at Camp Centre.

Myself and husband treat ourselves now and again to a meal out here and it's always lovely food and great service. Cannot fault the place.

I've been coming here for as long as I can remember with my family. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. There's a good selection of food, including typical Kormas and Massalas to some chefs speciality dishes. All of the food is reasonably priced and service is prompt. Well worth a visit if you've not been, especially if you're just over the road at the premier inn!

A couple of minutes walk from the Premier Inn if you don't fancy the delights offered by the Brewers Fayre restaurant! Slow service, had to continually prompt for basics which really should be attended to quickly, initial drink & some popadums. We ordered, shisk kebab starter, chicken madras with mushroom rice, lamb pathia with pilau rice & a keema nan. The food itself I have to say was very nice, in and out for approx £20 / person. Decorative style is traditional Indian, overall clean & tidy. I will go back, although I think it's the only Indian in town!

I'm not really a lover of Indian food however as it was a friends' leaving party I decided to have a try anyway.The staff were really nice, friendly and very accommodating. One of my friend is rather fussy and complained about her meal; her prawns still had their shells on even though the waiter asked her when taking our orders if she wanted the prawns without the shells! Anyway they offered her to replace her meal if she wanted to or even have something different. How's that for customer service! Something you don't see often nowadays!

Went there last Sunday. It was so bad that from the starters to the main. We have been going there for 18 years and this was the worst meal I have ever had. When we complained all he said was I will speak to the so called chef. No discount was offered. I will never go there again.

I have been eating here over the last few years as my local curry house. I have never had a bad curry and they are always consistent every time. One thing I do find is that coriander is used generously, which I like, but it's not everyone's cup of tea. You can ways ask for little though.

Walked in and told the staff we could not be too long and they were so helpful in making sure we kept to our appointment. Drinks were brought as we decided on our meals. The papadoms were some of the freshest we have tasted and the pickle tray was more than adequate. Four main courses chosen and not one was a disappointment. We asked about some of the meals and the waiter was very helpful. Everything brought as quick as they could. Everything was spick and span inside and out the toilets were very clean too. Very reasonable rates too. Go for a meal and you wont be hungry or poor!!

We booked this restaurant to celebrate a Birthday.Our party of 12 found the Staff pleasant,polite and very efficient.Together we enjoyed a variety of meals on the menu and found them excellent.[any left was due to quantity not quality!].We appreciated the fact that we were not hurried to finish. We will certainly return.
