Fabulous ice creams. I had ginger and raspberry pavlova. Very generous portions. Tea was awful milky frothy .. make sure you specify how you like it because we didn’t !!

As well as selling ice cream informed they also sold tea and coffee. I bought a cup of tea and was astounded it was £2.50- this was not a speciality tea but a very basic tea bag. Obviously I won’t be returning!

Delicious and very welcome on a hot sunny day, bit of a queue but expected at a popular place and on a warm day. Interesting flavours available and good portions.

Expensive icecream for a single cone. Not many visitors. Very Covid friendly as contactless pay and seating well distanced

Just stood for 5 minutes being totally ignored by the staff. Another family left without being served. I called for service without a response. Spotted a member of staff making ice cream and another on her Mobile phone, who said that she heard me calling but couldn't see me. Perhaps if she had stood up and took her eyes off her phone it might help. Left without being served.

we tried this place out while visiting The Station and it was superb, the ice cream is all made on site from locally sourced ingredients. All the flavours were delicious and we are definitely going back!

We love Archers Ice Cream Parlour. There’s always so much choice and the service you receive is great. Highly recommended treat after a walk along the river or to Easby Abbey

We went here twice. The icecream is good, pricy and HUGE for just one scoop. I asked if they could make it smaller or put two flavours in but that was out of the question. Then they ran out of napkins and didnt want to give any paper towels. These girls were so rude they lauched when we walked out. So that was our last visit. We Will buy somewhere else next time!

With people queuing my first thought was I wouldn’t be disappointed. We had mint chocolate chip and raspberry eaton mess , both delicious on a hot summers day well worth queuing for .

Great way to finish a walk around the river to Easby Abbey & back and a nice reward / treat for yourself . Classic ice cream!

You may have noticed that my wife and I like, nay, love ice cream.We came here and we're in heaven, plenty of choices to pick from and every one of them good.Chocolate and Puerto jersey for me, chocolate orange and raspberry pavlova for my wife, I did get to taste hers, grudgingly. Both excellent, my chocolate was one of the best chocolate ice creams I have ever had, and I have tasted a lot of chocolate ice creams.Not cheap, but excellent value.

Great ice cream with a wide range of flavours, I had the toffee. Not much else to say about ice cream, if you like ice cream I don’t think you’ll be disappointed!

This has to be the best ice cream around. So many choices and is such a lovely place to visit. Have enjoyed many times with the kids here.

Sought this ice cream parlour out as there used to be one in Northallerton but it closed down and it is missed very much. The ice cream is totally delicious and there are so many flavours to choose from. There are some very unusual ones too... we usually have a sundae which our favourites are in the photo. Affogato and a chocolate with strawberries too. Cones are very popular at this Archers as it is situated in the old railway station in Richmond and many people take a walk by the river. A must if you love ice cream!

Our kids love it here as the ice cream is beaut however, the service is much to be desired. We were told rudely, on one occasion, that the lack of choice was ‘our fault’ for arriving to late in the day.

I can't comment on service as I was with the dog outside but my companions said the staff were friendly enough. However a bonus to the delicious sorbet was 'broken cone box for dogs' ....Missy loved hers! Thank you for thinking about the doggy visitors too!

Absolutely delicious ice cream. So much so we visited twice during our short holiday. Friendly girls, extremely clean premises.

Went for a walk down easby with the family today followed my a trip to the ice cream parlour. The ice cream was unreal, and the staff (3 members) were helpful and kind. Very welcoming and positive. Definately be down for another visit soon :)

The two girls serving were ignorant and lack any skills to serve the public! Nice product but appalling staff!

Have visited the ice cream parlour in Darlington many times and everyone is really friendly. Must say this isn’t the case with your shop in Richmond. Visited today and was served by a very surly and miserable young girl who made us feel very unwelcome. From reading other reviews Looks like i’m not the only one who has had a similar experience

My daughter ordered a waffle, when it arrived the waffle was cold and no fruit or cream on it as described on the menu. It only had ice cream, sauce and a wafer. I mentioned it to a member off staff about waffle been cold and showed her the menu about the fruit, she then asked if strawberries would be ok, which we said they would. When 2nd waffle arrived it was warmer and had fruit on it, but still had no cream on it, which was also on menu. Didn't look anything like picture on the menu... I also ordered 2 knickerbocker Glories which were average, but nothing like display one in freezer... Very Dissapointing

Waited in the big que to get served,pleasant staff plenty of choice of flavours of ice creams and price ok.they were delicious and popular in our family.a must if here on day again.

I was in here the other day getting an ice cream and the staff were miserable one girl in particular sold 3 ice creams for free and charged everyone else I thought it was ridiculous. They need to smile more. Ice cream is nice though

This place does lovely ice cream and a wide selection. Is a little pricey though. Will visit again soon

Single cone was expensive. Nice icecream. However went to Buckingham palace last week and theirs was £3. Service could be better as server did not seem to want to be disturbed as only customer. No other customers

The best ice cream ever!!!!!!! Weather was pants but wow what a chocolate sundae!!! Kids loved the play area and the tractor to sit on until the heavens opened. It was great last minuet idea to go after disappointing morning out at another local event.

First time visit today. Will definately be returning. Great selection of traditional and slightly more exotic ices. Pleasant staff and reasonably priced. Nice surroundings at the old railway station. Don't miss it if you're in the area

Good range of flavours which come in a variety of cones. Looks a bit pricey but the amount of ice cream (and the taste) makes a single cone well worth it.

Called in this afternoon with my daughter after a trip to the cinema. The young girl serving us was lovely and the ice cream delicious. My low score review was due to the power hungry attitude of, someone whom I presume was some sort of supervisor. She didn't want customers queuing in the shop so quite rudely told people to queue outside. At this point there were a few of us waiting. Her attitude to a member of staff who was on a break was disgraceful. Rude and not at all courteous. Her whole demeanour was that of someone who didn't want to be there !If you have a job in retail you work with the public, if you don't like it get another job and perhaps a more positive and friendly attitude

Part of The Station complex, nicely situated at the end of a nice level riverside walk. Great Archers ice-cream which is locally produced and worth the extra.

Huge creamy ices with so many flavours held by superior cones they are best consumed in the old Richmond station, Seasons. Quite some of the best ice creams I've tried.

Having just been posted to the area, we were exploring the area. Came across this gem of a place and will be returning most weekends!! Icecream is delicious, lovely and fresh, parlour is clean and tidy, and very welcoming. The lady who was making the icecream fresh on the premises was lovely and made time for us, and let the children taste it as it was being made which they loved and we thought it was a really nice personal touch. Will be back soon thats for sure.

Called in for an ice cream with my daughter Tuesday 16th Feb after a swim in the pool opposite , ice cream was lovely as usual but shop was untidy tripped over a chair as we walked in staff miserable and not wearing plastics gloves so mauled the flakes and fudge to place in ice cream!! Thought plastic gloves were basic hygiene for businesses like this now?

This feeds through into an old station, cinema, one room museum and into a small ice cream shop/general bakery.Prices are okay, good for just stopping and having a short break, just across the Road from Richmond River and Richmond Castle, Easby Abbey just up the road. Ideal spot for families, couples and general everyday-ers.

We walked here from Richmond and it was worth the walk! Lovely little place with excellent choices of ice cream flavours and absolutely delicious ice cream. Would definitely recommend, there were even free broken cones for dogs!

I take my kids here often all the icecream is made in store, and you can find different flavours all the time my favourite is the turkish delight but I have only seen it here once :-(The snickers is also really good really good icecream well worth a try

Live local and plan many a walk to go by the ice cream parlour. Love the raspberry pavlova and the one with cinder toffee in and the black cherry and the .........etc etc etc

What a gem of a place! We treated our children here after a cinema visit in Richmond Station. The service was excellent - the lady was very attentive and warm. She told us the history of Archers and the fact they supply Betty's Tearooms with their ice-cream. As big fans of Betty's, we were most impressed.Our ice cream sundae's were absolutely superb. It is quality ice-cream, using milk from their own dairy and other locally sourced ingredients, and whilst a previous reviewer complained about it being pricey, I would argue that you get what you pay for. Worth every penny !!

My daughter gave me a gift voucher for this place. Very disappointed...the staff were so miserable it felt offensive!! Disappointed in the selection of ice cream. I had a double cone (rum & raisin, ginger) not the best whatsoever.

Wow - wow -wow - Best ice cream we have ever tasted. Amazing - creamy, soft, tasty. Glad there is not an Archers nearer to where we live or I would never be away!

We often drive down to Archers for an ice cream. The ice cream is made with real Jersey milk and tastes delicious!

My wife and I visited recently and had an ice cream cone each. We were surprised at the large portions. I managed to eat mine but my wife could not finish hers. Luckily for me I managed to finish hers as well. I will definitely be back for another on my next visit to Richmond.

Very tasty ice cream - great for a treat and some delicious flavours the hardest thing is which flavour ice cream to choose!

Best ice cream in the North of England and plenty of flavours to choose from. We can highly recommend.

Went here on Saturday 15th August. Gorgeous yummy ice cream, large cone with 2 generous scoops ice cream was £4.50 and worth every penny. Recommend strawberry and licorice. Worth the visit.

I often came here with my girlfriend for a local, tasty and of course large ice cream. With indoor and out door seating the there is something for all the family and a flavour for everyone. I have never seen so many flavour options and all made in house. It is not the cheapest of places to get an ice cream but I would say worth every penny. They also offer tubs for those not partial to a cone.

Nice to pop in when down for a walk by the river and get a cone or tub to walk with or sit out on the table in the sunshine. You can choose your type of cone, ice cream flavour(s) and toppings. My brother is a Ice Cream fanatic and he liked it so much he bought 3 family tubs to take back to Manchester in a freezer bag!

Very welcome ice cream at the end of a long walk - huge choice, we had Turkish Delight, Honeycombed and Fruits of the Forest, all delicious. Recommend after the walk....something to look forward to!

Sat with an Ice Cream while my wife shopped, really nice and our dog got a cone :) The location in the Old Station makes this a relaxing place to enjoy.

As the parlour is located right at the 'start' of the walk to Easby Abby, it's ideally located for just after finishing a walk. It has outdoor seating area, though it was raining lightly on our visit.There was a que due to how popular they are and when I got to the counter, I was spoilt for choice on ice creams and the staff were very friendly and helpful on any I was unsure of.The parlour was clean and tidy, which is great considering how much ice cream I saw on kids faces as they ate away.
