We received a warm and friendly welcome, excellent service, place with spotless and full of locals. As we did not know the area we had asked in one of the local shops where would be the best place to eat and this was strongly recommend recommended. The food looked like a piece of art on a plate as it arrived and it certainly did not disappoint it was absolutely delicious. We had both chosen the sourdough toast with smashed avocado crumbled feta cheese, poached egg, heritage, tomatoes, and fresh salmon with edible flowers and swirls of tomato relish. It may have been our first visit but we will certainly go back there although not local it is well worth the visit. Thank you to everyone in the kitchen and front of house who made our visit so unforgettable for all the right reasons. Wishing you all continued success because you deserve it.

Nice selection of cakes! We had a hot chocolate which was lovely, a pot of tea for two which again was lovely and lastly a caramel Americano which was tasty but my son said he would have preferred a proper mug rather than a tall glass cup. We had Fries, soup, scone with jam/cream and a piece of treacle tart. All were lovely but they had run out of custard. Service was good. I would prefer table service rather than ordering at the counter. Toilets were outside and the weather was dreadful.

Telephoned to book a table for 4 on the return of my step Fathers 3 month work trip as a surprise, I had to wait to see if a table was available for 5 mins, booked in later than ideal 8.00pm (2 weeks notice given) only to be told on the day of arrival they had double booked and we couldn’t go ........ and later find out my friend had been on the same night and only 2 people dining!!!!!! Never again. . .

We were very disappointed with our tasteless, extremely watery, over cooked chicken takeaway. We ordered two different mains, and both looked exactly the same and were bland. To add insult to injury, it was the most expensive Indian takeaway we have ever had. If you are a lover of amazing Indian cuisine, avoid this place!!

Called in for Breakfast with family, we haven't been for a while as we live out of the area. Staff were welcoming, ordered 3 breakfasts all I managed to eat on kine was the scrambled egg and bacon.. The sausage was warm and possibly been cooked and just reheated, th mushrooms looked like they hadn't been cooked at all the black pudding was raw, for £43 I expected better only 1 out of our group of 3 ate it all.. Always pop in when we are visiting but I won't be having food if we come again I'll stick with the coffee and cake.

Owner was incredibly rude to both customers and her own staff. Repeatedly slagged off the young waitress (who couldn’t have been older than 16) working there. Was very rude to foreign customer who asked for help with the menu. Avoid at all costs. Disgusting.
