The Deli And Diner in North Lincolnshire

First time yesterday for breakfast, Place very clean, staff very pleasant, friendly, polite and helpful. Breakfast excellent and very good value, price very good. Would highly recommend and will visit again.

On our first visit to Brigg we looked for somewhere to have a bit of lunch and as this cafe seemed busy we thought that was a good sign so went in.Only had to wait a couple of minutes to be asked what we wanted.Then just a short wait till our food came.Everything nice and hot and on a hot plate,all good.We found the food decent and combined with nice friendly service came a bill of less than £20,a bargain in todays world of rip off pricing.

Completely ignored for 10 mins. Been before and had table service. Clearly not today. After seeing customers go up to be served, queued to order. The girl serving spent her time gossiping with the customer infront about a night out in Leeds, instead of getting on with serving the growing queue. Left after 15 mins. Who was is charge?

The food 10 out 10 but one particular staff member was rude towards one of my friends and felt as if she didn't want to serve us.

Whilst shopping in Brigg today, called here for a hot drink and snack - bacon sandwich and coffee for one, hot chocolate and toasted tea loaf for the other. Most enjoyable and good value for money

Called in whilst in town. We only intended having a snack but ended up having a full meal. The quiche was lovely it came with jacket potato and salad but these could be swapped for chips/veg my husband had pie chips vegetables and gravy. This again was very good. The service was excellent the waitress was very friendly. I had a pot of tea but this wasn’t too good. The tea bag wasn’t really strong enough for the pot. This being said it would not stop us returning here. It was good to have the personal service and not a faceless pub chain I’d certainly recommend here

We're vegetarians, they don't sell vegetarian sausages!, so ordered two baps comprising of mushrooms (ONE mushroom that it is!), egg and one hash brown and two coffees. £14 !!! And the coffee really was absolutely awful, I honestly had to throw mine away, what do they make it with! Recently moved to this area, and this was our first and only visit, we will not be returning!! (The waitress lady was very nice and helpful though).

It may sound petty but I left your shop feeling as though I'd been ripped off! I purchased two sausage rolls clearly marked as a takeaway price of £0.70 each. I asked for them to be heated and was charged £1.00 each. I was informed that it was because they have to charge VAT if it's been heated. I disputed this, but when checking they were absolutely correct. I no longer felt cheated, that is until I thought about it, then felt that I'd indeed been cheated after all. I would appreciate them explaining how, something sold for 70 pence can accrue a charge of 30 pence VAT. Especially as the government has introduced a reduced subsidised VAT due to covid. This £0.30 is well over the top, even at standard VAT rates and should not have been charged. Further more, if you are going to put extra on your heated takeaway food then put a notice up to that effect. In short, what I expected to pay was 2 x £0.70 = £1.40 but ended up paying £2.00. As I said, I won't be going back and am sure you won't miss my £2.00.

we dashed in here for lunch as it was pouring with rain. Food was OK, service was OK and that sums it up; just OK. we could have got the same mean better and cheaper at Wetherspoons but that meant walking another 100 yards in the rain but, all in all, I wish I had.

Ordered toasted teacake and a latte. Got 2 thin slices of fruit bread and a cheap coffee made with powdered milk. How do I know it was powdered milk? Thick clumps not even mixed in. Used to be nice, not anymore, wouldn't visit again.

Very good price for great sized portions, and more than happy to accommodate slight variation from menu to suit your specific requirements. Fabulous chill cabinet full of yumminess, and can take away too. Very pleasant and friendly staff. Will be back if ever in the area again.

Called in here for lunch today Very good choice of hot and cold foods on offer , steak pie was very good am told and I had an omelette with ham and cheese - delicious Staff very pleasant and friendly , busy with the local work force coming in to pick up a salad or sandwich, prices were good, if I went back that way would call in again

I Can No Longer Eat Here, The Bread Buns They Use Stink (That Long Life Bread Chemical Smell), Like They Are Either Old, Or Old Was Frozen Then Defrosted. They Is Always A Dunk Or Druggie In Or Outside. So No Place To Take Children.

Called in for a quick bite of lunch, it's was busy which is always a good sign. There's alot to choose from if you want hot food, however we just wanted a sandwich. I ordered egg mayo sandwich my partner a ham sandwich. Each were served in a bap/flat cake with the salad inside, surely then that's classed as a ham salad/egg mayo salad! Mine was that full I could not get my mouth round it, hence I took the cucumber and tomato out. The cucumber was dry, which highlighted it was not freshly cut, the tomato was also borderline. These must have been sitting around for a while before finding their way into the sandwiches. Disappointed, will not be returning.

The appearance of this 'restaurant' inside was dull, dark and unappealing. The staff were rude and dismissive, although, I noticed they were friendly and chatty to those who appeared to be regulars or people they knew. Overall, a disappointing experience and I would not recommend this place to anyone!

A short walk from Brigg Railway Station is the ideal Deli Diner. Highly recommend the breakfast, proper food that is not swilling in grease with friendly staff.

Visited Brigg for two weeks on business, went here everyday for lunch. Very friendly staff, with good food and great value for money. Couldn't fault them!

We've been several times and always enjoyed our food. Whether it's a fry up or something from the homemade pie selection it's been well cooked and generously portioned!

Aunque no de Brigg visitamos este lugar dos veces en muchos días. Día 1 fuimos por una caprichoso y honestamente la esposa no me puedo quejar. En cuanto al precio era tan barato. Día 2 tuvimos plateados ensalada, la cual estaba £4 cada uno. Que gran idea, puedes elegir exactamente lo que quieres ensalada en su plato y creo que hay un montón de ensaladas a elegir. Añadir a que la carne de su elección (incluido en el precio) 4 libras y es un buen trabajo" de la ONU. Fue genial! ! ! El personal es muy amable y nada es demasiado problema para ellos. Los dos nos recomendaría a cualquiera el Deli cuando visite Brigg.

Tuve un desayuno caliente y la verdad es que no era en absoluto apetecible. Las salchichas eran aquellos seres con el barato spongey textura horrible (estamos en Lincolnshire, parece que encontrar un decente salchichas no? Los huevos) hecha así la yema era dura, los granos eran demasiado dulces. Barato, pero no alegre.

Almorzamos el sábado pasado y nos gustó mucho, así que he vuelto esta mañana para probar sus desayunos. Guau. . Eran fabulosas! Caliente, abundante, calidad y relación calidad-precio. El café es limpio y brillante y tienen una clasificación de 5 estrellas. Los retretes se beneficiaría de toallas de mano de papel o un secador de aire caliente en vez de una toalla, que todo el mundo lo usaría.

Just nipped in for coffee and cake and found the food and service to be excellent. Very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Had the "Deli" small breakfast. Very impressed with the quality of the ingredients, the sausage was exceptional. Delicious and great value for money. Will definitely return with my better half.

Visited mid-morning for breakfast/brunch. Great selection of food, we ordered a large breakfast, and also a bespoke order for my picky self. The staff took the order without question which is wonderful. The pricing is very competitive with every other eatery in Brigg. Will definitely be returning.

Never been here before. The staff are super nice with excellent service. I got the Deli bigger but only get this if you can eat as much as me, it was huge and superb value for money. The best breakfast I have had in ages. Highly recommended if you are in Brigg.

Quality of food was reasonable, food order was taken, staff had to be prompted to bring ordered drinks. Ordered french bread stick baguette and soft long roll arrived, two panini's arrive only one with the correct bread. Portion size however was generous and restaurant was clean and you can see the food being prepared.Welcome was friendly and staff helpful if somewhat disorganised. The manager needs to do exactly that.

We visited use the Deli and Diner on several occasions and the food has always been well prepared and cooked. It is affordable and they are very accommodating and happy to cope with various requests.Very helpful recently when a member of my family took ill - we could not have asked for more.

The Deli and diner is on the pedestrianised high street in Brigg. Tables and seating inside and on small sunny terrace at the front. Freshly made sandwiches and baguettes for variety/ choice of fresh ingredients. Also variety of fillings for naked potatoes and selection of homemade pies. Hot pork or steal baguettes also available. Delicious and very reasonably prices. Service with a smile. Efficient an fire sky service. Great place for lunch.

Don't come here often but when I do come the service is always first class the food is always cooked fresh to order and the prices are great! It really is good value for money! Paris & his team should be proud

We went to The Deli Diner after a disappointing lack of service at another well known venue in Brigg.....and we are glad we did! Friendly staff, delicious hot cooked breakfast, good coffee, excellent service. The place is clean & homely, no frills...does what it says on the tin. Great value. Will be back & will recommend.

now this place i really like, a great selection of home made food, hotpot, shepherds pie, jacket potatoes and really nice salad bar. This place is real value for money, and such pleasant and friendly staff too! this place is no nonsense food at a no nonsense price, highly recommended!

Off the overnight ferry from Zeebrugge, this was a fantastic stop for breakfast; hearty portions, good quality food and excellent value.

I called at Brigg Deli when my usual occasional breakfast port of call was closed for the day due to a local event. The meal was as expected. Not fantastic but adequate. Staff were quite laid back and not very communicative. They are very keen to take your order and after that the customer care and service fizzles out. Reasonably priced, but a little more expensive than I normally pay. There is a wide range of meals on offer... If you get time to study the menu. I will call again when a back-up restaurant is called for. Worth a try.

Try the Brunch it amazing, try the jacket potatos(if they have not sold out) as they are good too. Washed down with a nice cup of coffee or maybe a shmoo.

Food wasn't to bad for price there's better,the menu board inside is mind boggling to much fuss yet no time to look as staff are waiting for your order, instant coffee served in mucky mugs ,not a lot of options for small children ,tables also feel grubby .. And I've said all this and I'm honestly not fussy just like a clean table that's all ,don't like being rushed to order...all in all I do now avoid but I know many that like the diner

Choice of breakfasts or make your own. Tasty, well presented and freshly cooked. Pleasant staff and prompt service. Good range of sanwiches plus other snacks and meals.

The deli is a lovely place with kind staff that can't do enough for you. The breakfast I had was amazing and my friend who was with me really enjoyed the home made pie too. Great food and great prices Will be back soon

This is not a deli and only a diner in a very loose sense of the word. It is more of a transport cafe - which is fine if I am not with the wife, but not fine if I am. I was with her today. I had a bacon sandwich - cheap cob, very salty poor quality bacon - and a mug of tea (at least it was a mug), served with UHT milk! The wife had toast (cheap white bread) and a mug (she hates mugs) of 'filter coffee'. I noticed people eating breakfasts and it reminded me of the transport cafes my Dad took me to when the females weren't present. Great for boys, not for girls. Move to the side of a main road and lose the word Deli from the title.

Great food, I regularly buy their pasta/salad pots and they are delicious, I also eat in with my family occasionally my children really enjoy their childrens meals which have plenty of choice. Also the deli brunch although very filling is worth a try. All the food I have had from the deli has always been very good and we've never had any complaints.

My husband & I visited this diner on Wednesday. My husband had never been to Brigg before so we popped by on route to the garden centre. It was bitterly cold & raining, As it was almost lunch time we decided to go into the Deli diner. We were very pleasantly surprised . It was very clean & friendly. The food all home made was delicious & freshly cooked. We even bought cakes to take home to have with our daughter, son-in-law & granddaughter. All cleaned their plates. The kitchen is on view so you can see there are no hidden extras with your order . We will definitely be going back.

We've been so disappointed lately with the low quality restaurant food available but on a rainy Saturday we dashed into this little deli on the cobbled marketplace to get out of the rain. Having our two kids with us we just hoped it would be edible. We all ordered breakfast and i was SHOCKED. The coffee was DRINKABLE! Not instant, not sour. Gorgeous, lovely, velvety coffee that was obviously made fresh. Our orange juice came from the refrigerator case in plastic bottle, but the quality was amazing and the size generous. I didn't order the sausage because well, you never know who's got quality and who doesn't and i just didn't feel like trying to dodge that bullet. My husband generously offered me a slice of his and it was so good i went back up to the counter and ordered my own. FANTASTIC. This is our new fav. Saturday breakfast location, absolutely GORGEOUS. I almost didn't want to post a review because i didn't want everyone to catch on, there are no big queues now, but once word gets out, the lines will be going around the block! Paid about £23.00 for the four of us with OJ all around, 2 coffees (and perhaps a second OJ in there?) Great value for money!

With many choices to offer the deli has a great reputation in brigg and is never disappointing , don't visit every week but when I do visit I always look forward to the great tasting food here!
