What a gem. Had big breakfast here today with my husband. It was fantastic. Excellent customer service and very friendly staff. If you visit Bedsle, you must go herešš

Have eaten at the Friaridge twice recently as attending clinic appointments. Food is very good for a hospital cafe and very keenly priced. Choice of dishes is not magnificent but it serves very well for what it is.

Stopped here last night for something to eat after filling up at the petrol station on site. It was 5:45pm, the lady in the forecourt told me I should hurry up because it closes promptly at 6pm. After entering the cafe, there were already other diners either eating or waiting to order. Great I thought. Upon ordering I got a serious feeling of not being welcome. The lady taking the order presumed I wanted a take away. I apologised for the lateness but would rather eat in. There did seem to be a communication problem, she either deliberately ignored me or it didn't suit her that I wanted to eat in. My food was prepared by another lady, who didn't seem to be bothered about having to prepare another dinner, in fact she was very helpful. Upon chatting to the second lady, I discovered she was actually the owner.she was a nice lady and because of her, I am prepared to give this cafe a second visit. I'm guessing I caught the first lady on a bad day.

What a lovely find for nice food and not overpriced like the bigger'chain' garden centres I ordered a combo meal of tuna mayo sandwich and tomato+basil soup and 'other half ordered a piece of quiche (again a very generous portion) and 'coriander+carrot' soup Both soups were much more generous than the places where the price is double what we paid here and my sandwich had lots of filling and was in lovely seeded bread The staff were all lovely and very friendly and welcoming Will defo call here again- sorry Strikes you need to take a leaf out of their book and have a look at the portion sizes and prices that you provide

This was the first place we came across that did a breakfast. Visited as a family of 3 with our 7 year old. The husband ordered a breakfast (Ā£12). He asked not to get tomatoes and was given an extra hash brown. I'm not sure if he was charged for this as we weren't given a receipt. The daughter wanted pancakes... Ā£9. We were offered a small portion (I was just going to share with her), so, 2 small portions. Small portion had 2 pancakes instead of 3.. they weren't overly big. Typically, they would come with seasonal toppings, which we were advised to be apple cinnamon, I think. This wasn't to our taste, so we were offered and accepted Nutella. When the pancakes came, they also had squooshy cream and ice cream. Really not to my taste at all. Ice cream at breakfast? I hate ice cream melting into anything (fudge cake etc) so if I knew it was coming with, I would have asked for without or on the side.. I didn't want to raise the issue (this makes my husband uncomfortable). Therefore, I had to eat the unwanted ice cream quickly before it melted. Husband had a tea with his breakfast and I opted for a caramel latte. Small cup given and to.be honest, was Luke warm. Nice flavours but, Luke warm. Daughter asked for a hot chocolate and they offerred a small version for her. She ate the cream off thw top but in thw words of a 7 year old "the hot chocolate tastes funky." She didn't finish it. The only toilet is up 3 steps. Fine for us, not if less mobile. All in Ā£30ish quid. No receipt given.

This used to be good, well the quality is still reasonable; ignoring brown bits on the salad. But the quantity has shrunk and if memory serves this is just as the price increased. Now I know times are hard but it might explain how we easily got a seat. Coffee, toastie and cake x2 cost more than two main meals and two drinks last night. To put it this way we called in to a pie shop on the way home.

We were a family group of 6 and the meal was a fathers day gift. We arrived and were shown to our table and given menus. As it was Sunday we all chose from a selection of the Roast meats on offer, although the menu included a good selection of other meals too. We can honestly say it was the best meal out we have had out in ages. The food was cooked to perfection and the owners and waiting staff were friendly and attentive. We could not have asked for more. Thank you all so much and we will highly recommend to others and visit you again.

Me and a friend went out for lunch and found this tea room on Google, we were both so pleased we came! Such a lovely welcome and so friendly. Our food was made fresh to serve as we sat with a perfect cuppa! Would 100% recommend and would also love to return! Thank you for such lovely service.

This is one of those establishments that does what it says on the tin, it sells Ice Cream. Very pleasant young ladies serving in the shop and a nice selection of Ice cream flavours to choose from, along with similar syrups to top it off. Would recommend if you are in the area and fancy a nice Ice Cream.

On our way to Greggs but passed by here, cheaper sit in and great pleasant waitress service. All round a chance stop but well rewarded.
