The Willow Tree in Hambleton

We were spotting a very rare plane which was circling over us near Leeming air field, we tracked it down & stopped off here for a well earned pint of traditional Sam Smiths beer. Not to everyone's taste but it was kept great& tasted great

We were out and about sightseeing in North Yorkshire and decided it was time for a beer, so we googled for any Sam Smith’s pubs in the area, which is how we came to be there on a Friday night. Being well off the tourist path, this is a true local pub and our arrival was clearly puzzling to those in the pub, but a couple of the patrons introduced themselves to us, curious indeed as to why we were there. Once we explained our enthusiasm for Sam Smiths beer, we were very warmly welcomed and shown the best of Yorkshire hospitality! We heard some wonderful stories of their travels, their working lives and had a few good laughs. They insisted on buying our beer as we were their guests and their generosity was much appreciated and will be remembered for many years to come - THANK YOU!

The food was very nice and we didn’t have to wait too long but it was freshly cooked. My husband had chicken and beef stack which was huge and sweet potato chips which were scrumptious. I had light bite scampi with salad which was bigger than expected for a lite bite. Will go back and would recommend.

Este es un pub smiths y Sam mi esposo es normal aquí en un viernes por la noche. Como su Sam Smiths la cerveza es barata. No orgánicos para las cosas que me gusta aunque botella, pero es precioso. Este ha tenido terratenientes en los últimos años y espero que esta nueva pareja. Están tratando cosas diferentes y estamos dispuestos a apoyarlos. Empezaron sirve comida desde el miércoles de esta semana y está haciendo la comida de 17:00 en las noches, pero también el almuerzo durante los fines de semana. Hay un menú limitado pero hay almuerzo domingo tres platos en la oferta. Hoy era sopa de hongos silvestres con crotones que mi marido tenía y dijo que era muy bueno. Este venía con un gran pedazo de pan y mantequilla. Otras entradas incluidas en un Marie Rose gambas salsa. Platos principales fueron carne que venía con budín de Yorkshire, salsa, patatas asadas, repollo, puré de zanahorias y col. Rábano picante y mostaza. Yo opté por la batata, guisante y espinacas al curry con chick arroz hervido (o chips), lo que era muy bueno. Podría haber también tenía un pan naan. El postre fue desde el menú principal y era un brownie con helado, apple y blackberry se cayera y pegajosa toffees budín de flan - o helado. La comida era muy sabrosa, con buen tamaño de las porciones. Los lugareños que son difíciles de complacer todos dijeron que era precioso también! El menú es típico de comida de pub, pero es de buena calidad. El menú estándar consiste en el típico steak sobresaliente, curry, tartas, hamburguesas, etc.
