Top pub for both drinks and food. Well staffed with a good range of drinks. Good pint of Guinness and Murphy's.

Mint atmosphere, friendly staff!

Absolutely love this place..Top quality food and service and the only downside to it is the car park..very tight and better to be facing outwards has not enuf room to turn round..

We was staying at a local glamping site for our birthday and came for Sunday Dinner food was great, staff were welcoming and service was good.

9 quid for soup! 16 for a Caesar salad! Decent pub food but the prices are absolutely laughable.

Food and staff great unfortunately after we had finished our meal no one bothered to ask if we wanted dessert, couldn't grab anyone's attention pub was virtually empty so it wasn't even busy, in the end after about 25mins waiting we decided to pay the bill and go so dissapointing

Good value with restaurant week ( which i didnt know about until we got there)....until the food arrives. An excellent starter, followed by an average main but then a very poor dessert. Been going to the Mill for a number of years ( including Xmas eve) but sadly won't be going back for a while.

Tables well set out and a good variety of meals on the menu. Friendly service and all our meals were very nice. Good veggie choice too. My only criticism is the time it takes from ordering food to it being served. It is always 30 - 45 minutes and when you have young children this seems ages.

One of my favourite places for Sunday lunch, lovely ambience, lovely staff who always welcome you with a smile. Love the fact you can book online makes things easier. Gorgeous food too, the dinners are to die for, we will be back soon.

Had the katsu chicken curry. Tasteless, bland, oily and virtually inedible. The fries served as an accompaniment were on a par with cheap frozen oven chips, some of which were green in colourisation. Not what you would expect from a dish that cost £18. Dining experience was further compounded by let’s just say, “a highly unprofessional incident by the kitchen staff”.

Lovely place had Christmas dinner here and staff very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this food really nice and a lot of it

Review on behalf of Signal Telecom. We recently enjoyed our annual Christmas meal at The Mill and all aspects of the night were superb. The service from Jess and her team was 10/10, she is a credit to The Mill and nothing was too much trouble. In regard to the food, there were generous portion sizes and it was delicious - the team catered to all of our requests. Everyone left The Mill with a full stomach and a smile on their face. We had family meal at lunchtime. We were seated promptly and our table service was excellent throughout the meal. The food and drinks were excellent and everyone finished the lot. Festive Parmo Hanging Kebab Steak Fishcakes Good job!!

Lovely fresh cooked food. I had the perk belly on black pudding and mushy peas. Dunno how they got the pork like they did, but wow. Absolutely delicious

Lovely place, had a feeling it would be, but was slightly worried as you do when you've not been somewhere before. But it was nice enough, and most importantly the food was gorgeous. Only thing I'd say is it would've been nice to have been given a choice of where we sat, as we'd have possibly chosen elsewhere. During our meal we chatted a lot as we hadn't seen each other in over a year, and we were right next to the area where the men were watching football in the bar. I think there was a small window or open bit between us & them, so the noise easily came through. Also then going to the ladies toilets after our meal, me & my friend had to try to squeeze through these men, having to say "excuse me" frequently. I know it can't be helped due to the layout, but still.

A great place to chat as little noise. Beer a bit expensive, though.

Fabulous place for food, had the Sunday lunch everything was wonderful and tasty, only one area of improvement would be the Yorkshire puddings (squished) and roasts which were bland. But the food was lovely, definitely go back. Pub is lovely only let down by the toilets (mens toilet seat broken)

Called here for lunch last week. Was beautiful. I had the gammon and my friend had the Parmo. Both delicious. Lovely friendly staff who went out their way to help. Will be back again soon x

Immediately got seated and staff were absolutely lovely. Many young waitresses and all very well trained, great service. Food came out within 10 minutes, was piping hot and extremely fresh. Portions were great and roasts were amazing. Overall, one of the most friendly, tastiest restaurants in Stokesley.

From the minute we walked in the door, we were made to feel really welcome. The staff were super friendly. Simon obviously loves his job! The food was incredible. Onion rings were to die for. So tasty and fresh. I had a pie from the pie week menu, really good. Hubby had the Kev burger said it was one of the best he’d had. Dessert was amazing. If only this was closer to home, we’d be coming every week!

Went to the Mill for the first time today for Sunday lunch & it was outstanding huge portions loads of lovely fresh vegetables couldn't fault any of it. Staff were all lovely and friendly they were extremely busy but attentive and efficient. It was very busy so obviously very popular we will definitely be returning can't believe we've never been before!

Thai curry is excellent had it a few times now and never disappointed. Last visit was with a birthday party of 24 guests. No issues with any of the food and service was fantastic 👌

Good pub grub menu has variety and lovely staff

Having chosen the Mill for a family meal prior to leaving uk for 8 weeks we had a complete nightmare. The food that was presented was inedible with 9 persons unable to eat their meals due to the standard of the chicken. The chicken in the parmos was very thin and rock hard (difficult to even cut) and gammon was very poor The offer to replace the meals wasnt accepted as the elderly ones in the party couldnt wait so we all left very hungry and upset with the whole episode. The Mill only charged us for the drinks and one meal that was eaten which was nice of them but money wasnt an issue as all we wanted was a nice family meal. We obviously wont be returning but the Mill need to resolve the issues which caused such a disappointing family evening

Family meal disaster. 9/10 meals inedible which was mainly due to chicken quality and how it was cooked. Parmo chicken was thin and rock hard This place has deteriorated rapidly since our last visit and will be avoided in the future. We wanted a nice family meal before one member leaves the country but we all left not having eaten which is totally unacceptable. The Mill did not charge us for the 9 meals that were not eaten which was nice of them but I would gladly have paid the usual family meal price to have an enjoyable experience which was something we did not have

Went here for evening meal we had nachos, duck pancakes, salt and pepper prawns. Main courses sea food risotto fantastic katso chicken, sea bass fillets portions were large great value. Dogs allowed inside which is great. Great staff. Definetly recommended.

Had the original pork parmo ,fries,and salad.there was plenty of fries, I could only manage half the parmo so got to bring the rest home..the salad was a let down, beetroot leaves do not count as salad to me..onion and cucumber was tasty though and the bit of tomatoes was dry..my companion had the hot parmo etc..not as hot as he would have liked but he cleared his plate except for said salad leaves.overall a nice place to call in for lunch..not crowded .clean and tidy.

My wife, son and I visited on a quiet Wednesday afternoon. Plenty of choice from the menu. Traditional pub grub. We were pleased with the food we chose. The portions were generous. The service was great. Would definitely go back.

Had a great lunchtime meal here today celebrating a birthday. 5 of us served really well. I had a steak and onion baguette from the specials menu. Others had fish and chips, mussels and fries, hotshot parmo and Yorkshire wrap. Excellent quality food and lots of it. Really enjoyable lunch. Recommended

This was my first visit here. We had Sunday Lunch which was perfect except for the Yorshire puds which were over cooked. These were quickly replaced but I still think they could have been better

Dropped in here entirely at random, without a reservation, when driving through Stokesley, and was very pleasantly surprised. They did their best to accommodate us, and the atmosphere, service and food were all great. Classic gastro pub fare, but well prepared, and well priced. Highly recommended if you find yourself in the area.

This spot never fails to disappointment me. Last night blow my mind. We have used The Mill for years taking groups of students with SEN to help socialise in our ever demanding society. Last night staff and students from Laurence Jackson School had a fabulous meal beautiful presented clean plates all around severed by the most amazing staff,who interacted brilliantly with our students. Highly recommended can't wait for our next visit. A huge thank you for your support.

This place is very over priced for what you get , the garlic bread was literally oil. Never again.

Sunday lunch ordered roast pork got a chop broccoli stems to hard green beans to hard mash to watery 1/2 whole carrot wife said cauliflower cheese and red cabbage not nice

Had a fantastic meal at the mill today. the food was amazing service was outstanding from start to finish. Very accommodating with the food I asked cheese burger nachos but wanted the teeside resturant week menu (it was only on the main menu) they said no problem gave me the option for a smaller portion of it as its quite large and it still be the set price or pay the difference for a full portion. Food was fantastic we all had a mix of food and everyone loved it. Our 2 year old had fish fingers off the kids menu and a very good potion came out he loved it and got a 3 scoop Ice cream in with the price. Again that went down a treat. The waiter who I wish I got the name for was outstanding seemed to love his job, extremely warm and friendly. Very good with our 2 year old who had a little tantrum and wanted his attention every time he saw him. Made the visit there feel family oriented and friendly Overall amazing we will be coming back again very soon after that meal

What an absolute place to go, has to be a 10/10, the food was absolutely amazing, service top notch and choice of drinks fantastic. Probably the best Parmio(Fungi) I have ever tasted…

We were in the restaurant on 19/1/24 had an excellent meal and service. We returned taking friends on 23/1/24, to a very different experience I requested an easy access table as we had a disabled gentleman with us, none was given despite tables on the first level being available we were taken down to the lower level. We ordered and our meals did not come out together and 1 main course was decidedly very poor no comparison to the previous week half the size and over cooked so the sea bass was very dry and hard. The service was very slow when asked if our table could be cleared and dessert served we were asked if we wanted to order dessert which had already been ordered. We complained but no interest was shown other tha a sorry from the waitress who cleared the table. When settling the bill that member of staff was unaware of the issue being made. Disappointed after regular visits on overall experience. Reluctant to to revisit.

Disappointing, overpriced , shop bought French fries, instead of home cooked chips , shop bought scampi . Sausage & mash well over seasoned with black pepper to the point of inedible, when asked was everything ok my feedback was giving and just ignored with no reply , shame as it used to be good , we won’t be back .

Not a good pub. Over priced average beer. The staff change very often. Populated by offshore workers and police. No atmosphere at all.

We called in a party of 7, staff tried upmost to accommodate us and did get us in. The food was lush, well priced and good service Will go back The kids faces when Santa wondered in, priceless

Great little place. Nipped in for a snack but ended up having "The Pablo" burger which was an absolute beast, but really well presented and tasted great. Staff were friendly and thoughtful, often giving us updates to say when they'd be taking our orders, or when drinks and food would be ready. Will definitely come back, despite the trek to get there.

Faultless. No hesitation recommending this cosy place. Service was excellent all round, everyone was friendly and helpful. 6 of us had 4 different dishes - all were lovely. Food was fresh and piping hot. Generous portions too. The chunky chips were yummy. Loved the decor, was cosy. Very happy with our visit and will definitely return.

I came to the mill with high hopes but I was wrong! I order a parmo but it took 30 minutes to come! When it did I found a hair in it! NOT HAPPY 1 star.

An absolutely outstanding place to visit for a meal, or a drink. Traditional menu with freshly prepared food with an exceptional choice to choose from at very reasonable prices. The staff are extremely friendly and professional. The atmosphere was delightful, and the interior was pleasant and pleasing to the eyes. 10/10

Best fish and chips ever. The batter golden just melts in your mouth so light with a lovely taste. Chips had the best flavour ever. Good shape. My perfect chip. Mushy peas perfect. Son had parmo wasn't up to scratch. Very disappointed.
