What a lovely find for nice food and not overpriced like the bigger'chain' garden centres I ordered a combo meal of tuna mayo sandwich and tomato+basil soup and 'other half ordered a piece of quiche (again a very generous portion) and 'coriander+carrot' soup Both soups were much more generous than the places where the price is double what we paid here and my sandwich had lots of filling and was in lovely seeded bread The staff were all lovely and very friendly and welcoming Will defo call here again- sorry Strikes you need to take a leaf out of their book and have a look at the portion sizes and prices that you provide

The Shed tearoom is only small and is set in the grounds of an excellent garden centre. We had a small breakfast and a veggie breakfast both were freshly cooked and tasty, nice surroundings, clean and comfy. Two girls there are friendly and chatty.Lovely little place and the garden plants in the Rainbow nurseries are worth a look at to.Would recommend and will be returning soon.

This is a really lovely tea room, it's only small but they do have outside seating, with really good view's. Everything is freshly made and well worth the short wait. Staff are friendly and welcoming. The tea room is situated outside a nice garden centre,

I called in the George Hotel for a drink on my first visit to Easingwold, and i was glad i did. It is a lovely cosy traditional pub/hotel with lots of cosy rooms. There is an impressive range of beers, including six hand pulled cask conditioned real ales. The ones i tried were in excellent condition. To be honest, the George is better than any pub in the area for real ale lovers. A lot of people were dining, although i didn't have a meal. The menu looked very tempting, and the food coming out of the kitchen looked amazing. The staff are very welcoming and efficient and the George is very dog friendly. When i return with family, we will definitely try the food.

All ways a friendly welcome. Found this fish and chip shop one day whilst traveling through Thirsk. Fish and chips so good we occasionally have had a ride out from Filey to Thirsk to have some and will continue to do so.
