Food is always pretty good at McDonald's sometimes a little cold but brilliant when hot but as for the drive through ha , I now call them sit and wait in a bay through !!!! Just eats and other delivery services now seem to take priority over anyone else ??? There should be a McDonald's down on an industrial estate somewhere that does deliveries only and leave the McDonald's restaurant for sit in and drive through only ?? The cost of McDonald's now is straying out of cheap convenience food so the last thing you need is to have to wat 20 mins for it !!!

Really don’t understand any negative review on this shop. I have just visited Ciao, and I think it is probably the best food i have ever ate from a take out. At this point I’m looking for something bad but it is all 10/10. Pizza is unreal, well topped, not over done. No grease as you would find in any other take out. Thin and crisp crust with a hint of a sweet tomato sauce. The chips are crisp and generously spiced with it the nicest chip spice I have tasted. With a drink for around £11? I could share this with someone else that’s great value for money. The young lad on the till is a credit to your business also very polite. I usually come to ciao every couple of months because I like to try new places, but I think I need to stop and stick with the best.

Had breakfast and dinner at the hotel on two days. Breakfasts and dinner were excellent, great food, well presented, and served by brilliant staff. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

We were greeted warmly and blessed with the good news of a free breakfast. This was because my wife had booked a double room for herself but I decided to come too! The manager however was happy for me to stay and eat for no extra fee. The bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows. There was however a slight inconvenience with a drunk person setting off a fire alarm in the night (they were hosting a wedding). We were able to phone for a taxi from reception and have a drink in the bar before going out for dinner. There is a good TV in the bar. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful - the bacon was crispy and the only restraint was my self control. The Lincolnshire sausage was also good.

Many will have seen the demise of the Spice of South India in Princes Ave. as a pandemic tragedy. Mourning its passing I wondered whether we would ever be able to get a tasty Marsala Dosa locally. We visited the new site in Kingston Road last evening unaware of the relationship with our lost friend. We weren't even sure that it was more than a takeaway. it was a smaller version of the original, with the menus from Princes Ave and Lion beer. I enjoyed a Mysore Marsal Dosa, washed down with a Lion stout. The Phoenix rising.
