Mercure Hull Grange Park Hotel in East Riding of Yorkshire

Fuimos recibidos cálidamente y bendecidos con la buena noticia de un desayuno gratis. Esto fue porque mi esposa había reservado una habitación doble para sí misma, pero decidí venir también! El gerente, sin embargo, estaba feliz de que me quedara a comer sin cargo adicional. La cama era cómoda con un montón de almohadas. Sin embargo, hubo un pequeño inconveniente con una persona ebria que activó una alarma de incendio en la noche (estaban organizando una boda). Pudimos llamar por teléfono para un taxi desde recepción y tomar una copa en el bar antes de salir a cenar. Hay una buena TV en el bar. El desayuno era delicioso y abundante - el tocino era crujiente y la única restricción era mi autocontrol. La salchicha Lincolnshire también estaba buena.

Este hotel tiene jardines muy bonitos para sentarse y disfrutar del ambiente. Estoy aquí regularmente por trabajo, pero las principales estrellas aquí son Linda y Maurizio. Cuidan de mí magníficamente cada vez que vengo. Linda y Maurizio no pueden hacer lo suficiente por ti. Son amables y muy eficientes.

Had a lovely time at the Mecure Hotel, the hotel staff were all Wonderfull. I moved to this hotel after my company put me in another hotel first, which was awful & terrible. from the second I arrived it was bliss, I stay for breakfast & dinner for 3 days. Linda was wonderful, I had a request for scrambled eggs every morning with black pepper, & every morning she would bring them to me with a beautiful smile on her face. we would have a little chat & off she would be very busy with the customers. The hotel is very clean & tidy, thank god after the other dump of a hotel I was in this place was very relaxing, it has a gym swimming pool if you want & a friendly bar. I will be asking my company in future to book me here.

This is a review from someone that never writes reviews. Booked in for one night, upon arrival was asked three times what the price was that we were quoted, though it was on the printout that the member of staff had. Made it to the room and was surprised to see tatty walls, general poor cleanliness throughout and spatters of (hopefully) tea or coffee up the walls. Very 90s decor and well in need of renovation. Went for dinner in the hotel restaurant which was also tatty and tired. Wall was peeling next to where I was sat. Most empty tables had dirty plates on. Prompt order taking but long waits for drinks/food. Food wasn’t fantastic, especially not for 50 pounds for 2 mains and 2 drinks. The best way of explaining the restaurant experience is Wetherspoons served slower and colder for more than double the cost, in a quieter but tattier environment. The best of the stay is not being told prior to or on arrival of the wedding reception in the hotel. We appreciate that there are function rooms and this is one of the income streams of the hotel. But to not be warned before our stay of the bass and sound travelling through the building at past midnight made it impossible for us to sleep. This finally died off around 1am. Bin in car park had broken glass all around it. Couldn’t leave fast enough the following morning and would not recommend to anyone at all. Poor facilities, poor sleep and bad value for money. Avoid your stay and save your money.

My partner and I stayed here this weekend as a birthday treat . The hotel was ...OK and the restaurant were good and the bar staff were brilliant !! Our problem was that when you stood in the bath for a shower the whole bottom of the bathe bent and moved and you could feel the pipes etc with your feet . . Couldn't stand up straight like standing on a mattress so wouldnt wash properly . !! Mentioned this but nothing done !! On checking out last morning the man on reception said we needed to pay for last breakfast which we had already bought a voucher for previous evening so there should have been nothing to pay . He said to waive it as we had a bad bath experience , but you couldn't waive it because it had been paid and nothing was due . He couldn't comprehend this , so we left . Birthday treat soured and won't be using this hotel again . !! Other people da same problem apparently .!!
