Attended with friends and family to see local bands. Fantastic atmosphere with very friendly staff although very busy due to large number of people, minimal wait at the bar. Great night, can’t wait till next night out.

We decided to have a lunch stop in Malton and noticed the Bistro so headed inside, which is clean and well decorated. Service was a little slow but the waitress was friendly. After placing our orders the food took a long, long while to arrive, we were very hungry by the time it reached our table. My smothered chicken baguette was extremely dry and bland, my friend’s steak baguette was dry and chewy. We enjoyed the fries ! . The restaurant was very chilly inside, making us feel rather uncomfortable. Maybe we just chose a bad day to eat here, as most reviewers seem delighted.

Best breakfast in Beverley (in my opinion) Both myself & partner had a 'Breakfast Board' each. Amazing quality & excellent presentation sausage, perfectly crispy bacon, black pudding served with beans, roasted cherry tomatoes, 2 fried eggs & hash browns plus ample toast with butter all served piping hot. We are regular visitors & love the variety on both the regular menu& specials board.

we had a cake and found numerous animal hairs in it. the tall dark haired woman appeared rude and not really wanting to be there: doing a lot of moaning not a great atmosphere and i question their food hygiene standards when it comes to baked goods

Not the greatest, I don’t like triple cooked chips and teacakes were dry. We went in on the last few reviews so I think my view of great fish n chips differ from there’s.

'pop up food' for Xmas lights switch on was excellent. Great atmosphere, live music and good prices. Friendly staff great service

No te molestes. . . cenaron aquí anoche. . . el servicio es bastante amable. . . especialmente cuando se pagan los mejores precios de restaurantes. . . . Pedí a Brie que empezara. . tengo 2 pepitas que eran de queso de cabra. . . las envié de vuelta. . luego tengo 3 pepitas. . . 1 brie... 1 queso de cabra y me vacío completamente. . aconsejó que dijera brie en el paquete congelado. . . incluso ese menú anuncia todo cocinado fresco desde cero. . roast Beef estaba bien si un poco demasiado cocido y las verduras estaban bien. . aunque no vale 19 libras. 50 . . . mucho mejores lugares para comer en Brid aunque las vistas son agradables. . .

Whilst on holiday near hear we visited several times! Great beer and food, very friendly staff and locals! The landlord always took time to chat to me… thank you for welcoming a couple of southerners and their dog in!

Arrived we were booked in Two unfriendly teenagers who were staff said not booked in The place looked dirty so made a quick exit The place looked old and tired

The staff in this cafe are disgustingly rude - whenever you go in here it feels as though you are being a pain by giving them business. They’ve got their approach all wrong. There’s no smile and happy welcome - the owner looks at you with a face of distain because they have more food to prepare. The opening hours are totally unreliable and the service takes ages. I was sent away on this occasion after making a trip down because they had had an influx of orders and ‘weren’t taking anymore’. This was at 1pm and they closed at 2pm. It’s just not worth going. And the arrogance and attitude of the staff when they told me this was just inexcusable.

Lovely Sunday lunch, beautifully cooked and presented. Staff friendly and very efficient. Would thoroughly recommend. I did book a table. This is my fourth time for Sunday lunch and all have been excellent.
