Always enjoyed visiting this place been many times with friends in the past . Can only think it’s changed hands after this experience.! None of the staff looked familiar . 1. Ordered food which didn’t arrive until we reminded them , we had been missed. Was offered complimentary coffee. 2. Ordered cake and the coffee , mix up over the cakes as one was a take away , cream missed off the scones , this was rectified. Actually none of this was a problem for the 3 of us until a very rude member of staff appeared at our table and accused us of laughing at the young lady who had taken the order, telling us that she was new and we were rude. We were shocked! No way had we been laughing at anyone apart from ourselves and our conversations . On leaving I tried to express this this to a member of staff and was immediately shot down by the same rude person as before . She then escorted us to the door as it was shut and said in no uncertain terms ‘ I’ll let you out as we close at 2pm ! This was approx 2.30pm. She went on to say in a very sarcastic voice . ‘Enjoy the rest of your day’. We entered the place at around 1.30 and no one informed us they were to close in half an hour . There website says open until 3.30pm Obviously have no intention of ever using Whites again . I can only think it’s under new and very rude management .

Outdoor seating on a lovely patio, Lovely food especially the cakes. Friendly staff. Didn’t visit the model village this time .

We have just had our first takeaway from Cinnamon. Well, it was amazing. The meat madras I had was the perfect heat, the meat fell apart and was so tender. The Nawabi Khana my husband and son ate disappeared quickly and they both agreed it was just as amazing as mine. They popped some extras in the bag and I say thank you for that. It was a lovely surprise. The portions were very plentiful. And despite certainly trying, I could not finish, but hey, guess whats for tea tomorrow.😀 the meal arrived before the eta and the driver was so lovely and polite. I can safely say that this is our new regular and we will be back again and again. I didn’t get time to get pictures as it was dived into too quickly. I certainly recommend you try Cinnamon, you won’t be disappointed. Thank you so much Cinnamon.

We love coming here after our circular walk following the Yorkshire Wolds Way. It was very busy on this cold, sunny Wednesday morning (we are used to it being quiet!) but luckily a table was available. We did have a longer wait than usual for food but the coffee was quickly served and as always delicious as was the Yorkshire brie & honey panini!

Absolutely love this place. Bought some stuff to take for a picnic, my god the rare beef sarnie is delicious! Love that you can choose what bread you have also. Great prices on all the other bits such as sausage rolls, Scotch eggs and pies. We got abit of everything and was a very reasonable price. Don't mind waiting in a long que for lovely quality food. Only thing I will say is the chalk boards can be abit much to look through, almost too much going on to choose what you want, but generally if you know what sarnie your after I think they can just make it up. I got a rare beef, horseradish, lettuce and onion in a white roll, this exact combo wasn't on the chalk board but no problems them making it. Will 100% be back here time and time again. Thank for the delicious food.

Working away from home and staying in a lovely guest house up the road and we decided to go for a pint. I saw other customers food being brought out and I couldn’t resist!!!! And I was the furthest from disappointed than a fat man who loves his food could be. The roast of the day Yorkshire wrap is beyond words and I will be returning when I’m over this way again and to top it off as this review is titled? The landlady and the staff are so welcoming I felt like I’d walked in to my local not a pub 200 miles away from home!! Thank you so much and I will be back.

This cafe has gone down hill since it had new owners, the coffee was tasteless, we ordered 2 Americanos with cold milk, sent them back twice as they came as lattes, also ordered a cappuccino that was cold, shame. The staff were uninterested and miserable.

Llegamos a conocer a los tres chicos Wonky, Roo & Dave enseguida tan soo como llegamos ya que el gato encantador estaba esperando también presentarnos, conocimos a todos los demás animales de granja y Ginge el gato, pero fue 100% las increíbles vacas de las tierras altas que hicieron de este viaje lo que fue. We waited forty five minutes for drinks to arrive! It was not a very busy day or time, week day mid afternoon, however we were not the only table waiting for so long, with at least five getting up to ask staff where their food and drinks were. They explained they were short staffed though the lengthy wait was not helped by them continuing to seat people, at one point there was about eight table all who had been seated and waiting to order for at least half an hour. A sign to explain or the waiting staff explaining there would be a wait would’ve helped as then people can make an informed decision to stay and wait or not. After having approached someone to see if we can order as we’d been sat for at least twenty mins by this point, typically as we’re about to leave, after 45 minutes and no sign of drinks or food, they arrived together. Watching others showed this was the experience for numerous others who were seated before and after us. We had only ordered salads aswell! Terrible chaotic lengthy and uneasy experience despite staff being largely friendly and the food nice. Wait times have always been quite long here though this was unacceptable on this occasion with no upfront explanation or seemingly any system. We love the gardens so will be bringing our own food and drinks from now on.

I have passed this cafe many times and never visited before, always thinking it was just a 'bikers' cafe. (Nothing against bikers, used to be one generations ago)! Today, as part of a walking group we called in for lunch at the end of our walk and we were all very pleasantly surprised. The cafe itself is spacious, pleasantly decorated and well laid out. The staff were all friendly and efficient. And the food was all very tasty and excellent value. Including a free bowl of chips to share. Thank you ladies.
