We visited for lunch based on good reviews and weren't disappointed. Glorious day, we sat on the small patch of garden with bench seating as we had our dog with us. Although there was a large event happening on the beachfront right behind the cafe brining in a steady stream of customers the service was prompt and friendly. The cafe itself is tiny but a lovely covered patio area attached. We chose to sit in the garden area because of our dog and we're being very careful with social distancing. Short wait to be served but everyone very respectful of spacing. We had plougmans and a ham salad, both very fresh and tasty. Such a lovely day we then followed this up with a couple of homemade scones, lovely. A small suggestion would be to move the big bin to the car park rather than in the garden or screen off in some way. A couple of your beautiful flower planters would help make this area feel more in keeping with the rest of the cafe. Fantastic friendly staff, keep it up! 😀

Just gorgeous! The little terrace is beautiful, surrounded by flowers, spotless and especially lovely in the sun. Such a peaceful atmosphere. Pretty little cafe, part of the model village. There are a few seats inside and a few more outside. It is a pleasant place to sit and the food is nice and reasonable priced. Good home made cakes. My only criticism was that the cappuccino was a bit insipid and not frothy enough. It needed an extra double espresso, to give it that real coffee hit. Very friendly staff. Toilet facilities available and the model village is a must see.

We were lucky enough to find this wonderful tearoom on the first day of their open season. It’s lovely and clean, the outdoor area is a little oasis, the staff were extremely welcoming and friendly, and the bacon sandwiches were gorgeous. It’s really wonderful to find somewhere so lovely which is also dog friendly...our chocolate labs appreciated the complimentary dog treat. We will definitely be back when we’re next in the area. The staff are friendly and food fine but I'm afraid we will not be returning due to the number of dogs in a very small cafe.We were informed that it is a dog friendly cafe. I've never heard that one before. Very unhygienic and children were scared by having dogs under tables.

Cream tea for two enjoyed in the sunshine, the cafe may be small in size but the cream tea certainly was not!!, choice of tea or coffee, cheese & ham sandwiches with some side salad, then two homemade scones, plenty of jam, butter and clotted cream( none of your cheaper whipped cream) , the scones where light and served slightly warm, either that or we hit lucky with a new batch, then two gigantic slices of cake, one lemon and one chocolate, both of which were light and fluffy.

Food and drinks delivered qiickly and were excellent, (and freshly made) The Tea Rooms outdoor patio area was dog friendly and all the dogs get a lot of fuss and attention from the staff. Visited this immaculately kept village this week, the flowers are blooming, the grass was cut, the model houses/boats and figurines (even decorated with tour de yorkshire minature bunting in some of the areas) all in excellent condition. The Yorkshire Rose Flag was flying, the sun was shining and the coffee and chocolate cake were divine. Staff in the small tea room (with outside seating area adorned with lovely hanging baskets) were jovial, extremely polite and very obliging. The menu for a small Tea Room is just perfect, there is an abundance of home baked cake goodies on sale ,along with the chance to purchase a real good value afternoon tea for two at reasonable prices. I only had the chocolate cake on this occassion as we were planning to dine out later that night. The entrance fee to this village is nominal, when you consider what most of the attractions charge. Its great value for money and a very pleasant experience. You must complete the quiz as it helps you to get full benefit of the village - having to look in great detail at all the exhibits ensures you dont miss anything out, but if you do just go back round again until you find them as there is no time limit on your visit.

Whilst staying in Bridlington, my husband and I went to the Bondville Model Village which was very good and after going round the village we had a drink and a teacake at the tea shop. The outside seating area has a touch of Spain about it with the whitewashed walls and trellises covered in beautiful flowers and is a real sun trap. I would recommend a trip here if you happen to be in the area.

Found the teashop at Bondville Model Village in May this year. Have been many times since then. The staff are very friendly and can't do enough for you, the cakes etc are all home made and the drinks are first class. The tearoom is painted white outside and there is an abundance of flowers and plants giving the whole outside area a Mediterranean feel. The prices are very reasonable and the crockery is attractively vintage giving the tables a unique, quirky feel. Very well-behaved dog friendly too. In our opinion this is a lovely place to stop and relax. The lady who runs the Model Village and Teashop hasn't been there very long and is turning the business round very nicely. Please visit if you're in the area, it's very much worth a look.

Jan and Tim Bought the Bondville model village last autumn, after putting together a 3 year plan they have spent lots on the 1st phase revamping and renovating. They are a very nice couple and there is always a warm welcome for all. The tea rooms have been upgrading to include refreshment for all patrons alike and the food is cooked fresh daily with home made cakes. The young man you speak of behind the counter has "asperger's syndrome" and copes very well with his disabilities it is refreshing to see him helping out! around the place. Keep up the good work guys Sowerby's Hidden Gem...

we visited the model village after a 10year gap, the village itself from a distance looks nice, but as you get up to it, it is very well weathered with a lot of flakey paint, in need of restoration, shame you cant get closer to some of the models,

This little teashop that's attached to the model village is well worth a visit in itself. The standard of the food is superb and is home cooked on site. The quality of the cakes are to die for - definitely the best in Bridlington and Yorkshire. Also, this whole venture is done out of love more than profit so you won't find any better prices anywhere.

This is a fun place to go and spend an afternoon. The quiz is fun and addictive because of the challenges it sets. It needs a couple (or more!!) trips around to get all the answers. We also enjoyed homemade scones with jam and cream which were delicious and watched many families going round and until they got all the answers. The owner and the staff were both very friendly and light hearted, just right for the attraction.

We visited October 2012 and the owners told us they had recently taken it over. They were busy working on repairing some of the village. Yes, some buildings were in need of some TLC but even so we really enjoyed the walk around the village. Nice little tearoom and friendly owners - will definitely visit again

Did not go in the tea shop as short on time, but very tempted by the scones, all home made and looking very fresh. Will call again. The new owners are working very hard to revamp the adjoining model village and it is looking really good. The fresh paintwork, new models and revamped mini shops with squeaky clean windows were a delight for our children. We were warmly welcomed and are looking forward to another visit. Visiting the model village, sharing a cafetiere of coffee, home made scones and a run along the cliff top to make the most of your 2 hours free parking would make a lovely afternoon out.

First visit to this lovely little restaurant to celebrate 🍾 both Mother’s Day and my wife's 60th birthday and we were not disappointed! The setting in the window table with background music and plenty of space was perfect. We ate off the a la carte menu and we both had three courses complimented by a bottle of fizz. Each course was food heaven and the service was exceptional so we will be returning for the Sunday lunch to celebrate my birthday in April. Thank you
