Absolutely love this place ! The food is always fresh and great quality for me it's the best restaurant around hull Been many times and will come many times again.its not cheap but I happily pay the price! You get what u pay for right? Only thing it's cash only!

Was really disappoint. Food was really bland and tasteless. Also meat dishes are to much vegetables. We all felt it was a letdown. Unfortunately we wouldn't return.

I personally thought it was overpriced. The service was OK, although only two women were on. We never received our prawn toast as a starter, and our mains took a while to come out. 27.99 for a 10 and 11 year old, I thought, it was extremely pricey he barely touched it. Shame as we really enjoyed it the last time we came.

Glad I booked a table this very busy Monday evening. As always the freshly cooked buffet was amazing with the 2 serving staff working really hard. Our repeat orders were taken very quickly. Great experience

Visited Sunday evening, the restaurant was busy but didn't feel crowded. Its buffet style food is ordered from the table and delivered fresh with all the favourites on the menu... . Quality was good and service was quite quick given that there were some large tables in... Looking forward to our next visit.

Set menu given £27.99 ..... all you can eat and if food is left over you pay the cost of the container to take home which I think is reasonable. We chose starter each plus seaweed. Two main meals with rice and an extra side dish which satisfied our hunger. You choose your food by writing the numbers on a slip of paper and that is collected by the staff and you're not really waiting long before it arrives. We really enjoyed the flavours and texture - the portions were enough for us. I do believe there is another menu available which is authentic Cantonese food on request.

Terrible service!!! There for an hour and a half, had a few starters, ordered our main and then proceeded to sit and wait while everyone around us who ordered after us had plate after plate of food brought to them. Staff did not apologise throughout our numerous times asking when we would get our food. Will not return!!!!

Set price lunch... don't know how they do it for the price. Never ending starters - was full long before main dishes arrived. Lovely experience from start to finish.

I’m not happy with their service, the older lady waitress made us quite uncomfortable. I will not go back anymore. We had to pay more money but didn’t get any respesct. Maybe we arrested not Chinese or British people. I felt they discriminated with us:))))) I’m not going to go back anymore

Went on Monday night for me very disappointed wonton soup very bland and lacking in taste. Had king prawns with ginger & spring onions the prawns just tested of nothing at all. the bottled beer very, very expensive. I feel other people's comments are lacking in even dining in chiner town London let alone Hong-Kong or Singapore.

Went on Saturday 16th March booked table for 7pm for 3 people we sat at front off restaurant which was lovely. The service was slow one dish arriving at a time, that happened a few time. Some off the food, was very salty could hardly taste the food or even eat it which was disappointing as it looked amazing.

Came for a family meal and for the first time coming the experience has been amazing, really good food. Amazing friendly service. Couldn't have had a better experience, definitely recommend 😘😘

2nd time party of 8 this time was not very good food full of salt red hot like been microwaved wont be going back anymore shame to say

Went here for the first time and the food was fantastic, the staff were extremely kind and communicative and explained how their menu system worked which i found very helpful. The food came out around 10 minutes in. Though the portions were small, I kept on ordering until i was filled up and believe I got my money worth for the amazing food that they provided. They have complimentary prawn crackers which i found great as some Chinese restaurants charge you for them. Though they are normally very busy, I thankfully came on a non busy day which was very beneficial for me. Would definitely come here again!!

Can not recommend enough! Amazing value for money. All freshly made food and can order as much as you like. The honey chicken *chefs kiss* My whole family gets excited when we decide to come here as the food is just so good and we can eat a lot 😂 The service is great, really attentive staff. Always ready to clear and take more drink/food orders. Always busy, which shows how good it is, but I would recommend booking to make sure you're not disappointed.

We ordered from the special house takeaway menu, they were 3 of us and we ordered for 2 people at £17pp - there was plenty of very tasty food for 3 of us with complimemtary prawn crackers included. We had a takeaway so "Atmosphere" not applicable.

The food was amazing! Large portions with the option to take home leftovers. A wide selection of dishes are available during the day, and a buffet is also available in the evening.

Service as if were a hinderence to them.party or 4 starters first 2 people within 10 mins of ordering 2nd 2 half hr wait not a problem waiting but in a party of 4 please bring everyone meals out at same time we were there to have a birthday meal no rush no stress but I know they were busy but staff rude and we spent good money to be made unwelcome sad really as visit this restaurant several times before and food and service great maybe a off night but won't rush back anytime soon 😉

I look to see whether the natives frequent a place before deciding to eat there. Woksoever is one of these places, that over the years always had Chinese contingency and rightly so. For me it is the best Chinese around, to experience authentic Chinese food.

It seemed nice at first sat down picked up menu and a bug walked the menu food took forever to come small dishes were shared between 9 people not worth £28 each toilets were absolutely disgusting and unsanitary left with nothing but a feeling sick would not recommend

My first visit here with my daughter and friend. I have Coeliac disease and need a gluten free diet. The seabass with chilli chips was excellent.

As a vegetarian attended with meat eaters, I must compliment on the friendliness of the staff who made extra efforts to make sure I get what I want. I thoroughly enjoyed the specially made soup noodle, and my company loved the "dim-sum" meal they had, to which they gave their highest compliments. Thank you for an enjoyable evening meal!

A good experience apart from the noise - Saturday night probably the wrong decision for me,but we were out to see my grandson off on his travels. The food was good and there was nothing wrong with the price at £24.95 per head as much as you can eat. The service was good, however there was 5 of us and our choices didn't all come at the same time so that was a bit disappointing 😕 All in all it was ok, would go again but on a different night I think. Would ask for a quiet area next time so we could hear each other speak. More the customers than the staffs fault.

Went tonight for my daughters 21st, loved the food as always and the service could not be faulted! Often been more for the Sunday lunch buffet which is cheaper than a Friday night but special times deserve the cost increase. Also to be remembered by one of the staff who hasn't seen us for a long time made this feel like friends returning.. Just lovely 😁

Food has always been great here. Its a victim of own success though as now very popular and huge group booking give it a different vibe. The staff are superb but are overworked and stretched too thin. Place needs a bit of refurb to get back to looking how it did as it's looking very tired.

My favourite Chinese restaurant in Hull. The food quality is excellent for both Asian or locals. Weekend buffet prices are excellent, you choose your favourite dishes and order whatever you like to eat, but don't be greedy and wasteful 🥴

20 of us had a nice afternoon. All you can eat for £15 Good value for money. Good food, but service seemed a little slow on our table. Had lots of starters they were very good, not too many mains as we were full, but good. Would recommend it, but make sure you book, especially if you are a big party. They only take cash on a Sunday.

Went on a Sunday lunch. Very busy. Despite being so busy Food service was not too bad at all. Food itself was excellent. Huge selection. Choose what you want. Very fresh ingredients. Cooked to order. We are far too much! Going to be a regular for me.

Love the food here the price has gone up and some portions are smaller and didn't understand why there was 6 of us and some starters portion were only 4

Once we had got past the ordering system, the food and service was great. Even on a weekday, the place was packed. Anything ordered came quickly and the waiters were really good and very friendly. There's a long list of starters and mains, even some vegetarian options are available.

Visited for the first time on a Sunday. Very busy, we had booked previously. Huge choice of different foods. The atmosphere was great, service excellent. Had a thoroughly enjoyable lunch out.

Really great meal here. Not cheap, but worth the money. It's not a buffet type restaurant, you just write down your order and it keeps arriving, portions the right size to order lots of variety and enjoy a nice meal.

The starters and main very good

I have reviewed in the past but always happy to recommend this place again, all you can eat cooked fresh to order. Lots of choice and service is always very good. Give th a try you will love it.

Usually love it here and the food was still not really bad, some was good but the portion sizes got smaller and smaller each time we ordered. 2 prawns, 2 chicken wings for 3 people? And most things are battered and greasy and the lamb was so fatty. Gone downhill I would say and the man who was serving us kept taking things off the table that wasn't done with, without asking and he took our full plate of prawn crackers for some reason? Won't be visiting again.

I have been here a few times and was torn at this latest visit. The food was absolutely fantastic apart from the last few dishes to come out had an excess quantity of MSG. I believe this was a slip or a mistake as the rest of the food was fantastic! Would recommend a visit!!!

All you can eat menu for £25 each is very popular and you need to book. The list of starters is vast and for each one you order they bring enough for each person at the table. You can keep ordering and the portions just get smaller. All the food arrives freshly prepared and hot, everything is very tasty. The bar is well stocked with wine, spirits and bottled beers, however there are no draught beers. Staff are very friendly and efficient. It's a great place for groups around the large round tables. Parking is available on the main street. Well worth a visit.

1st time at this restaurant and from the moment we arrived to leaving there was not one thing that you can fault. Our party of 18 arrived and took 2 full tables of 9 each. The staff excellent in manners, waiting ability and service timing was apparently lead from great attention to detail. We started with an array of starters followed by another round of starters all of which were excellent in quantity cooked to perfection and served with the same professionalism. Our mains and desserts were offered in the same manner . Time seemed to standstill as we had stayed for 3 1/2 hours not rushed to vacate despite the place being rammed to the rafters. And the prices are unbelievably great value over other restaurants trying to offer the same fare. £180 for our party of 9 including drinks was superb. WOKSOEVER WELL DONE . Booked again as we enjoyed it so much.

Excellent place, constant flow of freshly cooked hot food at a great price. You will not see a harder working team than the staff here.

Food is absolutely beautiful here, We booked a table for Xmas Eve the first time I've ever been and wow, I was not disappointed! you order off the menu, and the food comes quickly piping hot ! Absolutely delicious, we will be back in no time !

Lovely all you can eat Chinese buffet, perfect for dim sum, starter and a la carte menu. Some dishes are quite spicy, please order lime and soda stand by!
