First time using this takeaway, will 100% use again. Food was delicious great value for money thankyou.

Ordered food when we stayed at a nearby hotel. The food was excellent. Amazing flavours and full of spices (just what we requested). Would have ordered again if I was a local.

When we moved to Thorngumbald 8 years ago we were delighted to find Saffron. It was the best curries we ever had. The last year unfortunately the food has gone downhill to the extent yesterday when we picked up a Thursday special the bombay potatoes were cold and uncooked. We are so disappointed that we have decided we would no longer use Saffron in the future. It's a great shame because we would prefer to support local businesses. Someone needs to look into where it's going wrong.

Do not often post reviews however my takeaway was beautiful from starters through to mains, used Saffron many times and will continue to do so. Delicious 😋

Food is nice but starters always luke warm and if told it will be an hour delivery, add at least half an hour on that

Visited Saffron for the first time on Saturday I ordered over the phone and picked up at the arranged time The food was very good but I have only rated it with 4 stars because all around the shop they have poster’s advising 10% discount on collection orders I was not offered any discount When I queried this I was told the food that I ordered had already been discounted and the offer didn’t include what I had ordered After checking the menu and everywhere in the shop I never saw any mention of my order being discounted This offer is misleading

Really tasty food and friendly service. Not had a bad meal from Saffron, Had many of the meals off the menu and all are beautifully spiced with well balanced flavours. There sre vegetarian options on the menu.

1 of the best Indians I've had in along time ordered over phone 30mins later was ready to collect. Ordered mixed kebab starter which was delicious bit of everything. House special chilli 🌶 chicken massala which wasn't too spicy plenty of chicken and the sauce was a show stopper. Even the chips was gone salad in a bag unsure but again was gone. All for £13! For those who live further a field certainly worth the trip as I travelled 20 mins back and the food was still hot🔥 let's not forget the 10% discount for collection. Thanks again Saffron

Me and my partner ordered the £12.95 Thursday special each as we were a little hungry. The special included a starter, curry, rice, side and Naan - so we weren’t expecting a large portion for that price. We were so shocked at the food when we received it, the 2 Thursday night meals were beautiful and probably enough to feed a family of 5 comfortably. We recommend saffron and will return again!

Food quality is great, and price v.good especially the 10% if you collect. The owner/staff are a sound bunch too. Decided to start messaging them direct via google rather than phone or use third party apps and everyone is a winner

I’m a regular costumer. The food is very tasty . Good costumer service is very good. Portion size is very good. Delivery is always on time.

We order a delivery last night i had Chicken Balti and my Husband had Lamb Rogan Josh we shared Vegetable Rice and had 2 poppadoms my Chicken was cooked to perfection and lots of lovely big pieces of tender Chicken and onions plenty of lovely sauce same with the Lamb lots of big tender pieces cant recommend it highly enough will certainly be going back

Food was very mediocre meat that was supposed to be lamb was so tough, won’t be rushing back. Price gone up and standard has gone down. So disappointed.

Fantastic Indian meal delivered on time during our recent stay at a local campsite. Great flavours, good quality dishes at a reasonable price. Recommend the Saffron Special and my wife enjoyed the Chicken Tikka Massala. Pickle tray and poppadums went nicely with our Onion Bhaji starter. Great Indian food, give yourself time because they are very busy at times, so don't expect prompt service, but the wait is worth it, the food is on point. Will be ordering again and again.

Absolutely spot on in every way. Mains good,sides good and naans and poppadoms really crispy. Fantastic will definitely go back.

Good Indian takeaway with delivery service

Fabulous! Couldn't ask for anything greater, first time I've orderd from there, kind and welcoming staff. I find it amazing how we can customise the curry, I'd recommend having Fish jalfreizi. I go to Indians all around East Yorkshire and I have to say I have not taste a Curry as good as this in years. A few of things they could do to improve the takaway is: having it avaliable on Just Eat. Using social media more to upload pictures of food. And having smaller chip portions. But this hasn't effected my experience in a negative way so I'd give 5/5. I highly recommend Saffron, i'll be ordering food from there again and I will be telling my freinds about it.

This is the second takeaway we have had from Saffron and both were superb - the food is restaurant quality when it arrives to the door and we will definitely be ordering from them again. Would highly recommend.

Fab food would not go anywere else ,our favourites are Garlic chilli chicken and Razaila,restaurant quality excellent chef and friendly helpful staff .

Just ordered the special £12.50 on a Thursday night and must say the food was delicious, fresh, Chicken Tikka Bhuna, Jalfrazi, Chicken Masala and Peswari nans are to die for. Far too much food but compliments to the chef we will definetly be back, thank you very much for brightening up our Thursday evening 😋👍

Disappointed when we were really looking forward to an Indian meal. Onion bhaji dry and lacking in flavour. Special balti had dry chicken and a piece of lamb and I have had more spice in a home made korma. The tandoori mixed grill meat was not marinated as we are used to and half the meat was inedible. We have never had an Indian meal which has been so disappointing.

Food was good and very tasty, plenty for a meal, all packed well and still very hot when I got it home.

Outstanding Indian this is my 3 rd visit I have never been disappointed yet ... highly recommend 5star

First time we've been here for food. We were not disappointed. We will definitely order from here again as it was very tasty! Reasonably priced and it took about 20 minutes from ordering to us picking up.

Reopen since lockdown is farcical. Order and they give you a pick up time but they don’t limit the number of pick ups at that time to one. They don’t cook the food for pick up at the time of your pick up. When you are one of the two allegedly allowed in the premises at once they shout through to start preparing you order. Stood outside tonight for 25 minutes in the rain with one young bloke not bothering about the queue of four people outside who had pre ordered waiting to pick up and getting wet. Walked straight in jumping the queue when there were already two people inside. Managers excuse is he can’t see if there are other people outside or not. Best of all he got his food and was allowed to stay inside for 10 mins while his mate came to pick him up keeping the rest outside in the rain. Shame. Like the food but won’t be using again. Don’t stick to the social distancing rules and no consideration for the people waiting.

Best Indian we have had in a long time.No complaints and will definatley be eating from here again.

Food is great, can't argue with that. Service less so, it's often very late, and because many customers have to drive there, sometimes they're waiting up to 45 mins after they expect it to be ready. If they can sort that out, it'd be five stars .

Great quality takeaway food in Nice big portions, reasonably priced and good delivery waiting times. Can't believe I have been living in Hedon for nearly 3 years and never tried this place before. Now I can't get enough. Nice friendly service and comfortable seating wait if you walk in and order too.

Only around the corner from where I live but clap cold when delivered. And that’s not the first time it’s happened. It’s a shame really because it wouldn’t be a bad take away if they could deliver the food hot

Been here twice in the space of eight months whilst visiting the area. First time food was bland and tasteless, thought it must have improved the next time I went eight months later, still bland and tasteless. Avoid.

Worse Indian in the world. Would not recommend to any one. Go some where else for a decent indian. So will be never going back.

This is the best Indian takeaway in the East Riding of Yorkshire food is always well prepared and well cooked, plenty of choice delivery is available I have tried loads of Indian takeaways in this are and this is definitely the best it is even better than a lot of Indian restaurants I have been to its definitely worth a visit if you are in the are 10+.
