Lovely Sunday lunch, beautifully cooked and presented. Staff friendly and very efficient. Would thoroughly recommend. I did book a table. This is my fourth time for Sunday lunch and all have been excellent.

Family meal, reservation and menu choices given in advance. Nice ambiance. Food was of good quality. My starter was not as described but still nice.

The food was amazing, the girl who looked after us was very friendly & helpful, all our dishes where just beautiful, we will certainly come again .

Called in for a drink straight after work on Friday and ended up eating dinner in the restaurant. Staff were lovely and service was great. The management have really improved the decor and the restaurant is beautiful. Menu quite basic but food was good. My steak was perfectly cooked and the triple cooked chips were delicious. We were there very early so it wasn’t very busy which suited us. In short highly recommend a visit even if you been before.

Amazing crab linguini. I live in Italy and it was just as good as any pasta dish you can get there. Exvellent service and friendly staff.

We took our care home residents here for an outing and a meal.It was spacious, wheelchair friendly and the staff were very helpful and welcoming.The meals were really nice.The service was really good and will definitely return again in the future.Highly recommended for a good quality meal out.

This is a wonderful local pub serving great food. . The service was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. The food was really excellent and cooked very well. There is a good choice on the menu with different choices from the standard pub/bar/grill you see at most places these days

We'd heard how good this place was by looking at reviews. We went for lunch today. We really enjoyed the food and drink. The pub is quite traditional and has a nice, friendly atmosphere, obviously enjoyed by locals as well as people from further afield. The girl behind the bar, Lauren, was so friendly and provided excellent service. She was very good at her job. We don't live very near but if we're out that way again, we will definitely go again. Great pub! Was looking for somewhere for lunch and after finding Driffield cafes on here aren’t actually in the town centre we looked for a pub. So glad we did. Great food which so much better than we expected and desserts were even better. Staff were really friendly and attentive and a. Ice quiet beer garden with comfy seats round the back

Second visit for our Sunday lunch within 3 weeks and we weren't disappointed. Tasty , plentiful, hot and lots of variety on the plate. Tasty gravy. Yorkshire Pudding lovely home made. Ice cold drinks.. Waiting staff were lovely and very friendly. Price is about right...

Early evening visit - met by a friendly young man at the bar who quickly organised a drink & alerted the restaurant to my arrival. Shown to the table by the waitress who efficiently took the order, which arrived without too much delay The burger...

We went to Mishka for our works Xmas meal and it was fantastic, great atmosphere and for the 11 of us we all enjoyed our 3 course festive menu choices.

Another good meal! Had some good deals on meals!! And great deals on homemade cocktails, calming atmosphere and the young lady serving did a very good job helping everyone.

Had a lovely family Sunday lunch with desserts, tasty and good value for money. Short staffed but did a fantastic job. Will return.

Lovely outside dining area just on the outskirts of town. Nice menu but a little limiting - possibly due to covid. Would reccomend.

Can’t fault the food or service and lovely staff . Was very busy but felt safe. Don’t usually do starters but wish I had. Our main meals were very small and was still hungry . Actually had dessert which I never have. Did notice on...

Mishka Pub has been a delight for my Son and I, we usually go every Wednesday evening and have N E VE R been disappointed, a good variety of choice on the Menu with top quality and service . Roma has always met us with a smile and his Mum is ready to check if all is to our liking . Verdict, would recommend Mishka to all, either for a light meal or a full three course quality feast. Rating :- 11 out of 10.Thank you Mishka , an oasis in the East Riding.

If I could give it a minus star it would be minus 3, absolutely shocking experience we were four adults ordered from the Sunday menu Two Chicken Sunday lunch and one Pork and one Beef asked the waitress to have the Beef with no fat please, she said that she would instruct the chef to remove any fat from the beef, we also asked if the mashed potatoes could be replaced with fry’s 5 min later the waitress said it would cost extra for the minute egg cup full of fry’s to the tune of £1 add to the meal of £10.95 not cheap for a Sunday lunch at £11.95p, the waitress came with condiments had to send one set back because there was dried food on the fork and knife from previous customers nice to know that hygiene standards are not a priority, the meals arrived the Beef meal 4 pieces full of fat and the Chicken meals stone cold I asked the waitress to take the beef back because of the fat content and would she replace it with a warm Chicken meal which she agreed wholeheartedly, it is obviously very difficult to present fat free beef, the replacement meal arrived 10 min later, but not the chicken that it was supposed to be but the beef again looked like the same meal which was the original meal removed because there was still fat evident on the four small portions, I asked the waitress again to take the beef back and just forget the order along with a cold chicken meal, then to my surprise the female chef arrived at our table gesticulating were is the fat on the beef I said were is the chicken that i ordered as a replacement, I was shocked that the chef was trying to humiliate our party into accepting a substandard meal and to be then confronted by the son of the Female Chef don’t speak to my Mother like that was unbelievable, if you want a Sunday lunch experience there are numerous eateries in Driffield better value and half the price.

We had a really lovely time at Mishka’s! Wonderful food and service. It was my birthday and the staff went out of their way to make it special. We will definitely come back next time we are in the area! Thank you 🙂

The food came very well presented and was very tasty. they offer a vast range of dishes. the staff were amazing. so polite, caring and friendly. Visited while on holiday but I wish i lived closer. I will be returning in the future.

We were recommended to try “the little pub by the canal” by a local resident and this is where we found when we looked. There’s a pleasant outside space which isn’t immediately obvious when you look at the pub from the front. Covid rules are being observed here. We sat out and ordered the roast dinner which didn’t take long to arrive. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Food was delicious. We both really enjoyed it. Meat tender, superb Yorkshire pud. It was seasoned beautifully, as another reviewer stated, tasty but not too much. Lovely. I didn’t go inside at all but my husband said it was nice, clean etc inside too. We thought it was good value aswell.

Thought I should really write a review for Mishka on here too. I am very fortunate to have it as my local so have eaten here many times, we had the surf and turf on Friday, sirloin and lobster which was absolutely amazing, definitely a favourite, the food is cooked to order, brilliant, fresh and local produce too.If you haven’t tried Mishka then you certainly should it’s a little diamond, remember to book first though as it gets busy !

Had lunch today with my husband. I had the cod and hubby had a burger. Absolutely delicious. Didn't need to season my food which to me is a sign that the chef knows what they're doing. Brilliant service and very friendly. Can't wait to go again

Visited mishka pub for a meal with friends.Roma was very welcoming and friendly. social distancing measures are adhered too Well. The food was amazing, compliments too the Chef.Had the dumplings and garlic bread to start, followed by the chicken kebab, friend had the beef stroganoff. Everything was spot on, will definitely return :)

I visited Mishka early this evening and was greeted by Roma who had a lovely personality while being professional at the same time we had an amazing starter which tasted delicious we had beef dumplings and cheesy garlic bread for our main I had a tasty chicken kebab while my friend had a beef stroganoff I am very satisfied and will certainly be returning and referring my friends.

I cannot speak highly enough about mishka. This has got to be my favourite restaurant EVER. Never has this restaurant failed to deliver on quality of service quality of food or quality of hygiene and presentation. The quality of ingredients are always the best and you can see and taste that quite clearly. The presentation of the food is stunning this is also the case with the decor and general layout of the restaurant. The portion sizes are always perfect.....not too much and never too little. The staff are always very very friendly and welcoming and can't do enough for you. This restaurant is a must!! A must try for everyone.

Hands down im a chef myself and this is honestly the best food in Driffield!!! 👌🙌 Marco polo is nothing compared to this place and any other, no doubt about it!!

A lovely little local pub with great service and delicious food. The outside is slightly deceiving but it's worth venturing inside for the good food and great service, catered for vegetarians, vegans and meat eaters without hesitation. Would recommend and will definitely be visiting again!

Wonderful meal accompanied by great service. Not far from Driffield Railway Station this is a great pub to visit enjoy a drink with fine food.

First time in there but food was really good. Young staff on duty but great customer service which is not something you always get. No hesitation in recommending. Keep up the great work and hope you stay around for a long time.

My Fiancee and I visited Mishka on a wednesday evening for a meal and a drink. Both the service and the food were excellent. The price was very good for such quality food. The pub decor is very pleasing and comfortable. It's refreshing to have a meal of such quality in Driffield and makes a change from paying for food that I can cook better myself. We will certainly be returning. We wish the business continued success.

My wife and I always try to go out by ourselves over the Christmas period, as Mishka Pub is just up the road we thought we'd give it a try, and what an excellent idea it turned out to be, the staff were friendly and welcoming and the menu was diverse but not too big, even though it did cause us problems deciding which choice to make. When the food arrived after not too long a wait it was fresh, tasty and presented really well. I would recommend it to anyone. I was also pleased how wheelchair friendly it is, I had no problems at all getting in and moving around inside the bar and seating area.

Wow! What a find, lovely little table next to the cosy fire. Friendly helpful staff and homely surroundings. The menu was unusual as it had a mixture of English , French , Portuguese and Russian / polish food. The waiter was helpful in explaining some of the Russian starters for us. My husband both chose thr dumplings, mine where golled with Salmon and my husbands where meat filled and where dat on a spicy sauce. They both came with a garlic creamy dip. The texture and flavour where delicious. For mains I had duck breast Cooke rare with a delicious fruity sauce and dauphinoise potatoes, I also had a side order of the most delicious seasonal veg cooked to perfection. My husband had the Portuguese steak which had blue cheeses and Parma ham on it. He had a choise of triple fried chips or dauphinoise potatoes. He asked for it rare and it was cooked just as he liked it.We couldn't manage pud. The atmosphere was warm and friendly with people eating and also people making merry for Christmas just popping in for a drink. Would recommend this place confidently to any food lover.

Four of us thought we would try Mishka pub. We were pleasently surprised. On entry we were warmly greeted by a tall young man behind the bar. An extremely pleasent young lady showed us to our table. We studied the menu and we're not at all rushed. The young lady took our order and said all the food was freshly cooked we may have to wait a while. The food was delicious. The service was second to none. I would recommend trying Mishka.You won't be disappointed.

Sunday lunch with the family. Choice of beef, pork, chicken or vegetarian sausages. Freshly cooked. Vegetables really tasty not bland. Really well presented. Dessert portions really good. Called on a Wednesday evening, had 2 meals for 17 pounds, and free puds for senior citizens. We had chicken carbonara, and hunters chicken, plus sticky toffee puds. All very nice, it was quite busy. Will go again.

My husband and I visited Mishka for a meal this evening. The staff are very professional and attentive, popping to the table for a chat and making us feel very welcome. Baked camembert, trio of sausages and beef stroganoff could not be any better. All of the dishes were presented beautifully, and tasted delicious. The atmosphere is really friendly and comfortable, even when it was very busy. The prices are excellent, the quality of the food superb. We will definitely be back.

We called in early evening with our grandchildren. The welcome was warm and inviting and nothing was too much trouble. The food was outstanding and I can honestly say the salmon dish was the best I have ever had. Look forward to returning.

Genuinely the best Sunday dinner I’ve ever had, ate every last bit! Great portions and was served with mash potato as well as roast potatoes and green beans which you can’t see in the photo as it was under the Yorkshire pudding and meat! We all ordered beef and enjoyed every last mouthful, good prices & lovely staff! Quick service considering everything is made to order, can’t wait to come back during the week to try the burgers they do which looked amazing!!

Me and my partner have just been to Mishka for a lovely meal. The food was so tasty, although I had asked for salt and vinegar on the table I didn't need to use it as the starters and main were seasoned to perfection.

We booked a table for the first time for 3 of us .We were welcomed and seated straight away the place is nicely decorated great friendly atmosphere and well the food was to die for !! A very warm welcome and friendly attentive assistance to choose our food was but a prelude to the food! Beautiful, tempting, artistically presented platters of delight were served within a very short time. We enjoyed our meals in an unhurried manner and sadly (?) had no room for dessert! Two very happy diners said thank you very much and see you again soon, which we certainly will. Can't recommend this venue highly enough.

A great Pub that does excellent food. My Son and I plus 4 friends went to the Thai night last week the food was fantastic and everyone thoroughly enjoyed each coarse. Really looking forward to the next one 😁

Absolutely stunning meal. Took mother, father, sister and wife to Mishka Pub to celebrate Mothers Day today. Had prebooked table and pre-ordered meals. Table all ready on arrival. Restaurant was very busy however service was excellent. No problem or waiting for drinks. Meal included delicious prawn cocktail, mushroom soup, turkey crown, roast pork and Salmon. Great food, freshly cooked, very nice vegetable's and deserts were excellent. Everyone enjoyed their choice of food, the flowers on the table, the mother's day card on the table and mishka bear to take home. The staff at the pub give excellent customer service. A thoroughly enjoyable Mother's Day meal. Excellent Service, Food and Value.

We recieved a warm welcome and were immdiately seated and offfered drinks. The chefs son was knowlegable and detailed each of the Russian dishes on the menu and gave some background on what regions they came from. All the staff were friendly, attentive and contibuted to the success of the evening.

Limited menu and quite pricey for what you got. Food average. Nicely presented but nothing flash taste wise and portion size of the chilli looked like a child's portion. Two of our party thought food had been shoved in a microwave certainly wasn't hot, luke warm at best. No atmosphere at all in the place, but have to say staff were lovely. Sorry but won't be going back.

Took parents out with my wife for a Meal at Mishka Public House on 11th December 2018. It was a truly excellent meal.

Regular visitors here as only live around the corner. Always a nice welcome when we arrive by the friendly staff. Food is also excellent

Went for Sunday lunch not knowing anything about the place and was pleasantly surprised! the food was delicious and well priced, staff are very friendly, lovely background music playing, nice relaxed atmosphere,very welcoming. We will definitely be returning.

I would definitely say that this is one of the best pubs in driffield. It is very warm and comfortable and the staff friendly and welcoming. The food is well cooked and delicious and the Sunday lunch is to die for. Highly recommended.

Came for an early evening meal, two specials boards at the back of the pub, one with starters and deserts and the other with mains.

A very laid back atmosphere for Sunday lunch and plenty of room. Self service at the bar and we enjoyed the roast. Massive portions but sadly some of the veg were over cooked .Made the mistake of adding salt, I shouldn't have. Very delicious lemon meringue pie, home made. A small pouring of cream wouldn't have gone amiss though. Our young waitress looked after us well. A limited menu, but it WAS Sunday.

Found by chance when out for a stroll in the River Head area of Driffield. The Russian name intrigued me. It looked like a pub but the menu had a more exotic side - a selection of Russian Starters. Turns out it is run by a Russian Family (but without Alexander's meercat accent). I tried one of the starters and fish main, both of which were very good. It would be a nice spot for a summer lunch too - right by the canal.

The quality of the food belied the basic surroundings. We enjoyed a tasty carefully cooked steak and fish dish from the specials board. The service was warm and welcoming. You must try the homemade bread and butter pudding!

Visited with a friend for tea and Draculas party. Lovely tasty meal. Mozzarella sticks starter and scampi main. Traditional pub food with a cultural twist. Complimentary Sangria for costumes at this event! Reasonable prices and brilliant service. Decor is cosy and comfortable modern style with traditional bar and well looked after historical features. Well worth a visit and being local we'll be revisiting!

Was staying across the road and popped in for dinner with the family. Tasty Russian starter followed by kimchi pork and rice was lovely. Kids had spaghetti Bol and it was also good. Owners were v friendly.

The pub decor is pleasantly modern and the staff are extremely helpful. They offer great English food and a selection of Russian fare. Our meals - a beef stew and a roast were excellent.

This place is special - the food is different and interesting ! Freshly cooked and tastes delicious ! Have enjoyed the different theme evenings - where else can you experience Russian / Spanish and English food in East Yorkshire ! The Mishka Team couldn’t be more helpful ....

We arrived the other Sunday afternoon at around 2.45. We were the only people dining. We order the beef Sunday Lunch. After around 15minutes our Sunday lunch arrived. I know presentation has nothing to do with the taste....but the food look as though it had been dumped on the plate. Two large slices of beef were plonked on top of the veg....you could not see the veg. The sprouts were hard, the broccoli also, the roast potatoes were very pale ..in fact most of the veg looked as though it was maybe from frozen. The beef although a very large portion lacked flavour as did the gravy. Hopefully we dined on a "bad" day and things are usually better. There are so many pubs offering Sunday lunches in this area.

Friendly staff and great service. Sat in comfortable chairs with a drink and moved to a table when the food was ready. Food was delicious and best "pub" steak I have had in a while.

I’ve eaten here twice now with family and have been impressed on both occasions with the quality of both the food and service. Excellent portion size, clearly fresh ingredients and a warm welcome from the staff. Certainly one of the best Sunday roasts I’ve had in the area for a reasonable price. Well worth a visit!

A really relaxing evening with friends enjoying the lovely evening at the old Blue Bell at Riverhead, now Mishka. Limited choice of wines, but none the worse for that and you order at the bar.I had the mixed sliders, tasty baby buns with a choice of burger fillings, beautifully cooked and the chips are to die for.We will be back. This new establishment is a winner.

Lovely cosy feeling to the place, food was banging. We opted for Sunday lunch and all the food was cooked perfectly we really enjoyed it. The kids meals was really nice too.

We popped in here to rest our legs and have a refreshing drink. Not been here since it reopened and was pleasantly surprised. Tastefully decorated, with comfy chairs and tables and good lighting, we sat to enjoy a drink before setting off again. Staff and customers were friendly and they have a good selection of drinks to offer. The menu also offered some good choice, so hopefully will be back soon to sample it.

Very disappointed with our meal had to order and pay for drinks separately, had to order food at bar ourselves, offered 1 ,2 or 3 course said we wasn’t sure which we wanted and was charged for 3 1 course meals. Waited a long time for food even though we were the first table in, veg was a little too aldante for my liking and had a garlic coating on( not a fan of garlic myself) the Yorkshire pudding was far too well done, no one table checked so couldn’t voice my disappointment unless I went to the bar to complain . Meat was lovely to be fair. My mother in law ordered a sweet and was told £4.95 we rather stupidly thought it would be £1.00 the difference between a 1 course and 2 course... no the 2 course only comes with a starter and main, the staff had no idea what the starter was and had to check. No where on the menu outside did it state that you couldn’t choose wether you wanted a starter or dessert for the 2 course.

Its good to see investment in a traditional pub {Was Blue Bell ,Riverhead] ,which otherwise would be stood empty. However, we feel improvements can be made. 1, Sack the chef 2, introduce waiter service 3, get smarter menus made up. 4, Allow the option to pay in one go after your meal. This creates a more personal transaction between diner and yourselves. Allows us to say how much we enjoyed our meal, and you to ask us back.. We wish you all the best with this new venture, and hope it can be an established eating place and a credit to Driffield.

Recently opened we visited for a drink to see what it was like. You would not believe it was the same building as the previous pub. Furniture and decor excellent. As was the beer and wine.

Booked table and arrived promptly. Shown to table . Husband had to go to the bar as they wouldn’t add the drinks on to the bill. No problem. Waited approx 25 minutes for the menu, in the end I had to get up and ask someone for them. Picked our meals and waited again . In the end ,my friend went and asked if someone could take our order, to be told you have to order and pay for them at the bar. Well we’re not mind readers . When we arrived, there were two tables with people eating and were about to leave which left us and another couple who ordered after us so not very busy . We waited a long time for the food to arrive. The steak and chips would have got 5 stars but would have been nice if the steak was hot ,unfortunately it was not. Near the end of our meal the onion rings turned up. Not impressed . Did tell the young girl that our steaks were not hot . Nothing. My husband asked what was on the salad as it tasted nice to be told by the young man that it was a family recipe and walked away. No wine cooler, they don’t do that. Did anyone ask if we had a nice meal or say goodbye. NO. Won’t last long if they can’t get one order right or manage to smile or attempt at making a conversation. Left feeling very let down. Won’t rush back.

The Mishka pub has only just reopened after a full refurb, the place is welcoming and cozy and a nice place to relax with friends, it also has a nice little wine lounge for small groups, well worth a visit to meet the Mishka team.

Lovely owners with polite and welcoming staff. Nice enviroment to sit and relax. Great selection of beers/spirits, and the food is epic! (Would recommend the Mishka Burger)
