Been eating from this place for years but quality seems to have declined. Quality of the chicken itself seems poor compared to what it was and had a grey color to part of it , the assembling of the burger is messy and not to the right standards as it was before. Sadly won’t be eating here again after years of doing so

What started as a very enjoyable evening of very good food and wine with friends, ended on a sour note that rather spoilt the evening. Three of the party ordered the Ribs and Rump steak combo (£24.95) but asked for the steaks to be upgraded to two Ribeye and one Fillet. I accept that we should have asked how much the upgrade would cost but we would have expected a clarification from the server. In any case, we expected to pay a premium of £7 to £10 pp based on the differential cost between Rump and Ribeye on the Steak Night menu. It was a surprise to find that the excess was £20 extra per head, increasing the meal cost to about £45 pp which we felt was excessive and made the server aware of it. We didn't get a satisfactory explanation as to the reason for such an excessive increase to the cost of the meal other than a rather flippant response, asking us what we wanted to pay! Eventually, he knocked £5 off each meal. What should have been a rave review about the quality of the meal has, unfortunately, been spoilt by the lack of clarification and overpricing of our meals.

Such a friendly place from the first minute I walked through the door. Excellent beers and food served with a smile. Best pub on Main Street.

Disappointed that I had to pay by bank transfer. The food was good, but I was shocked, that it wasn't until I asked to pay, that I was told they didn't accept card payment... I had to go onto my banking app, using their own insecure wi-fi ( password about 12 random digits ) and make a transfer... Very unhappy about this as it's not wise to access your bank account via a strangers wi-fi. I would never, ever do this, but felt "trapped" as I don't carry cash.... I was very nervous about doing this, consequently it spilt the whole experience..

I came in to get a portion of fish and chips what was amazing, i was greeted with a nice smile by taylor who served me my order and she was very well spoken and polite:)

We were disappointed with our meal. The pub was extremely quiet ; yet the food was very Luke warm and all the ingredients on our plate were jumbled up on a heap with very little discernible flavour

Just had a lovely overnight stay at this establishment. Great location. Lovely and friendly staff. Professional and very helpful to ensure a pleasant stay. Breakfast was delicious and plenty of variety. The room was spacious with everything one needs. ( The Duchess room). Definitely recommend here and appreciate the plans the owner has to improve the hotel. Any negatives? Just a thicker quilt on the bed but that’s only because I like the weight of one! Gem of a place and I’d return.

Didn't serve me because they didn't have straws. What a stupid reason and the staff were rude. But there was 3 customers sat there having a milkshakes when supposedly there was no straws. I could of got my own straws and even told them but still they were being rude for no reason.

Cannot recommend the Lounge' hot chocolate enough! Delicious!x

Staff super friendly and welcoming. Parking at hotel is limited. But you can park at front too and plenty spaces. Rooms really clean. Breakfast is exactly what you expect. Good job ladies and gents. Local to centre and not far from airport. This is my second visit and I will stay again.

First time back since new owners have come in. It’s been a while since our visit to Stefanos and naturally we wondered if it was as good. Greeted with warm friendly staff, free bread and sharing starter we knew it was going to be a good meal. The wine was perfect temperature, the food was served perfectly on time, the free potatoes with the main meal were all lovely touches. The food was unbelievable, the value for money with the children’s meal was outstanding. Puddings served fresh in the open kitchen behind all finished in minutes. We booked back in before we even finished the bottle of wine. It’s not just as good as before, it might even be better… Bravo 👍🏻

Excellent little restaurant. The food was great tasting and not over powered with too many spices. Portion sizes were good and I didn't felt over faced by too much food. The service from the staff was great; all very well mannered and could not do enough to help you. The atmosphere was good even for early Friday evening. The restaurant is a great addition to Thornton village.
