Can't fault this place. We eat out alot and for curries there's only 2 places I love in Bradford. Shimlas is 1.of them. The lamb karahi doesn't miss, good portions and it's absolutely divine. Their mixed grill is good too we usually get this when we take the whole family. Their kebabs with naan is the best. Their mocktails is about 8/10 l. Customer service is good, we built a rapport with a couple of staff members, the lady from Maldives is so nice especially. Parking is available round the back. The interior is ok nothing special but if you're after good food, this is the place

I specially came from New York for getting one of the best taste in the world. Their taste is unique and one the best.

Placed a order over the phone for delivery (friday evening), was told wait up to a hour, called back a hour later to find out no delivery driver is available and the order i had placed has not been put through,would have gone down to pick up the food if i was told no driver was available, very poor customer service.

Nice food and reasonable prices. Would be nice of they made allowances for slight amendments to food ordered

Customer service "would sort out order next time" after it was not edible the previous time we ordered only for them to say on the day oh we won't put to much sauces on I waited 30 mins on the phone for a lost case putting me on hold back and forth to be told they didn't mean they'd replace the order they meant they'd put less sauces on disgusting Customer service then he asks for the food a week later if shimlas likes evidence they should make it clear I would have kept the food a week on and sent it back

Absolutely rubbish can not follow instructions, never get my order correctly. Don’t bother ordering from these not only that but you’ve got to wait a long time for your food! Paid for stuff that never arrived (dips & drinks) this hasn’t just happened the once either they always forget!

Disgusting, i normally buy a curry from these guys and ive never had a problem. Ordered the food and came home, the chappattis were half cooked and the lamb had no flavour. The short guy with the beard gave me my food and come to think of it he was looking at me in a strange way.

Visited this branch couple day ago approx 6pm in the evening It took 40 minutes to serve 2 chicken donner on naans 4 tables that come after us and ordered after us where served food before us When I questioned this I was told your next but that wasn't the case When I questioned this the 2nd time I was told one minutes This place has really gone down hill on their service

Really bad stomach has been hurting since I ate.

Phone order placed at 11:41PM on 04/08/2024 for a takeout. 3 chicken donners with naan and a large portion of fries. I got there for 11:55PM and the food was ready within minutes. Unfortunately, on this occasion, and as a regular, the chicken donner was cold and the fries weren't hot/soggy to be precise. Family didn't enjoy therefore food had gone to waste. Home address to Shimlas is a five minutes drive, so no excuse for cold food. Slightly put off now, so I won't be returning anytime soon. On a plus note, the eat-in experience is usually on point.

Considering the amount of money they make and how long they have been opened they can easily afford to renovate the toilet. The food taste delicious and I always visit but the toilets are horrendous nobody cleans them on top of that the seats are dirty and if you go in to a cubicle they made it so tight that your clothes would touch the seat while trying to close the door behind you. It smells like dead rats with human excrement and urine. They really need to invest money in to it because it’s serious hygiene issues and if they neglect their toilets like that it makes me question what is the kitchen hygiene like.

Absolutely ridiculous customer service. Placed an order on Uber eats driver turns up with the wrong food. The wrong food handed by shimlas themselves. Always check your bags. So called manger likes to tell fibs and blaming the driver. Didn’t even get an apology just a nothing we can do. Sausages !
