Very lovely experience, the food was delicious, fresh, creamy and hitting all the senses.
Had crab cakes that were just perfectly light starter, pork was beautifully cooked and tender in a delicious sauce, and creamy spinach was perfect.
Lady who served us was very attentive, I'm sorry we didn't catch her name.
Will be back!
Second time been here after a snooker exhibition in Shipley. We started with poppadoms and pickle tray then had chicken madras, pilot rice, lamb rogan josh, chips and peshawar naan.
Great service and the food was excellent, can't wait to visit again.
Disappointing: decided to try Beehive for an evening meal haven’t been in a long time. On arrival we were greeted with friendly reception and shown directly to our table after a few minutes. Member of staff came and offered us drinks and shortly after came to take our order. My wife ordered the meat lasagna described as Merlot with pancetta lasagna I went on the recommendation of the beef, bacon and brie burger with chilli jam. The meals arrived within reasonable time. My wife’s lasagna was smaller than you would expect. But considering it’s described as merlot and pancetta it was very bland. As for my burger. Burger bun was stale and side salad was limp with soft cherry tomatoes but the burger came with no chilli jam or bacon. The waitress was very apologetic and exchanged it straightaway informing me that a fresh one would take approximately 10 minutes. Unfortunately, when It arrived the bacon had been overcooked on the char grill and as for the chilli jam, there was no taste whatsoever. Whole experience very disappointing and I think for the price they’re charging they need to look at the quality of the ingredients using plus how they are presented and cooked.
Lunch for 6 for Mother’s Day - excellent service despite it being busy, and food was fantastic, large portions cooked beautifully and very tasty. Couldn’t fit in a dessert, though if Sticky Toffee Pudding and a cheeseboard had been on the menu it may have been a different story… Would definitely recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Just had a great Sunday lunch at the Roos Arms. I went with a friend and we both had the roast pork with stuffing. I am gluten free so it is great to go somewhere who can accommodate my dietary requirements. The plates were hot, and the roast pork was succulent with great crackling. There was a variety of lovely vegetables to complement the roast both on the plate and served separately. The service was excellent. We will definitely be back.
Visited this place again on Good Friday evening..
On placing the order, they were very apologetic about the appropriate 1 hour wait for the food to be cooked, but TBH we had other things to do to pass the time, so went back around 3/4 hour later to collect, even though they had obviously been extremely busy, and it was after 8 pm, the staff were all friendly, and the food was well worth the wait.
Looking forward to our next visit soon..
